Just practicing my technique... did some more texturing on this one...
Probably my best nebula yet!

I officially name this nebula "Sea Horse Nebula" :)

Tech Specs:

Hours: about 5
Layers: I have no clue
Canvas size: 2000x2000
PSD file: almost 300mb

I really tried to put in a lot of detail into the nebula, I think it worked out pretty well ;)

Comments and favs are always appreciated!

I went to the city called Lviv the other day and saw this old man dressed as a cossack sleeping on the bench in the central square. I decided to take a picture, erm... he noticed me and was about to bang his cane on my head, lol! Luckily I managed to get a slightelly blurred shot with my phone before he was able to clobber me.

Anyway, nothing special... but this is the style of photography like most ;)

Favs are always welcome,

Yeah, that's me...

You probably can't tell, but my right pinkie is totally painted. I had to paint it because in the orignal picture it was cut off by the light bulb.
I really like how the lighting turned out in the piece, practically perfect I think.

PLEASE ADJUST YOUR MONITORS FOR BEST RESULTS.

About 3 hours total in PS CS2.

Cheers,
GB

I HAVE UPDATED THE IMAGE!!!
Well I decided to expand on my Incomparable Power deviation and make it into a series. Here is No. 2 in the series.

Tech Specs:

Photo: by me, its a photo of my best friend... he's got an 8 pack!
Programs: 100% PS CS2
Time: About 3 or 4 hours
Layers: no clue

I have a feeling that I am not completely done with this yet, there is something that is missing still. So I would deeply appreciate some constructive criticism!

I give my permission for *Manipulators to post this in their gallery.

Thanks,
GB

Hey everyone, here's a Collaboration with my good friend

I made the initial TG render and slightly edited the space, while Measels did the majority ofspace :)

Good job to us :)

This will probably get edited one last time, but here's the version we have right now.

I was going to have this one to be used for the pack, but I don't want to ruin the theme for myself, so I went with a different picture I made instead. This one is just for some practice with nebulas again, I have been pretty rusty. Went for some larger gas clouds also here, so enjoy. Same resolution also as Newborn.

Hope you enjoy the scale too :)

Comments and favorites are appreciated, as always :D

Added the asteroid field which I have been dying to try out, thanks `hameed for the stock field. Also added rays, lightened the middle a small bit, and fixed and touched up other parts of the image.
