Goodbye AliceInitially, I thought there would be a lot more great deal of pain when it came to dying. But in the end, it only was an intense heavy and numb feeling, almost like you were hit in the head with a large block of ice. The only notion really that I was really even dying was the metallic taste in my mouth, and the haze in my eyes. I looked at her, her young girlish features tainted by the splatter of my blood. Her eyes remained opened, as if she were to be strangled, and her mouth twitched wildly, most likely from shock. It was sad that that was going to be the expression she wore the last time I saw her. I really don't think I had ever seen anyone as scared as she was at that moment, and if I had had time to reflect on it, I would have been frightened too. With a great jolt, I felt the muscles in my body let go, giving up on my hope. As I fell on top of her, I managed to whisper,Goodbye Alice3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This

Entitled Cheshire Cat
By Seth Vandenburg
Wonderlands mysterious grinning feline
His riddles, ever so divine
But on first sight to Alice
Who before, her heart never had malice
The cat was as strange as all the signs
As of now, the Cheshire Cat has changed
His fur, his riddles, all of him rearranged
Body a skeleton-form, a ring in his ear
And his grin was much worse to fear
His teeth, completely fanged
His sudden transformation, so very uncouth
All of him changed, body to tooth
No normal man would dare to delve
To fight the Cheshire Cats corrupted shell
Though Alice was calm, to tell the truth
They both journeyed together through Wonderland
Through treacherous hordes of enemies, band by band
The Red Queens domain, they soon appear
The end game forever near
Though sadly, the Cheshire Cat met his end by the Red Queens hand

Claws that rip,
Fangs that gleam,
Gives the mad wicked dreams.
Wanders forward; halts; stares,
Eyes of yellow, slitted pupils. Glare.
And out of shadows, rasped sound speaks,
Like a whisper given weak wind,
Quizzical voice whom obscures reap
With ill fated fate on breath, such sins.
'What wonders down before mine eyes?
Brings cause to wonder,
draws out surprise?
Why, travelers that wander here,
Come from far, come from near.
Pausing only in brief repose,
Tho' conciseness still may expose,
Secrets, lies, half truths, Un-wholes,
And in, the seekers dig like moles.
Stay for more than a moment long?
And thy mind to you will no longer belong.
Take into context thoughts that fray,
Like my claws, from which blood runs astray.
Now run, run little birds, have no fear,
We're all quite mad, Quite awfully mad, here.'
Watch Your Step"Be careful, Alice. Watch your step, Alice," repeated the Cheshire Cat as she walked through the valley of the spikes. He stood in silence as he watched her weave in and out of the sharp, elongated death-trap.Watch Your Step4 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
He held his breath, watching as a spike plummeted from the top of the ceiling, thinking her end was near. He closed his eyes hearing the spike sink into the marred ground, his heart stopping. 'Was she gone?' he thought. 'She never bothered to listen to me that silly girl... but now who will save us? Who will save her?' He opened his eyes.
To his shock, the last of the butterflies took off around her as she continued through the maze. She survived. "Impossible..." he said to himself, "but then again, this girl has yet ceased to amaze me." He stood above the shafts, his claws sinking into every board, his golden eyes watching his broken mistress continue forth on her journey.
Victims Too Young: A short Alice and Jeff story. Two girls ran through the woods, both had unnatural hair colors. One had blue hair while the other had pink. “Lucy! This way!” called the blue-haired girl, “I-I’m coming, Riley!” called the pink haired girl named Lucy. Crouched behind a bush, Alice smiled to herself, how fun it would be to see these girls suffer. “Did you find them?” he whispered,
“Yeah. They seem easy enough targets.” Alice whispered back, not taking her eyes off Riley and Lucy. They were getting out of range of her eyesight.
“Come on, we gotta keep moving.” he said, Alice nodded and went back into a standing position, he took her hand and they walked, careful not to show that they were there. Alice laughed quietly,
“Why not make them feel a little… Paranoia?” she said, Jeff stopped moving, and tur

- " Let me go, bastard! " you yelled loudly, struggling to get out from the demon's hold.
The said man only chuckled at your poor attempt, bringing you closer to his chest. You scowled darkly, stopping your struggling. It was quit difficult to break up from Sebastian's grip when your arms where tied behind your back, you sitting on his lap.
- " What, you don't like it? " he breathed huskily, chin atop your head.
- " NO I DON'T "
- " It's a shame that you have no choices but to submit to me, Lady Hollow...Don't worry, I will (not) be gentle with you... " he mumbled.
- " Like hell I will let you have your way with- " you gasped painfully when you felt something piercing your stomach and you looked down.
The jerk was stabbing you with one of his knives and you growled.
- " You will let me go this instant or else- "

- " You don't want to cross that line, Cutie " you finished.

~The Missing Puzzle Piece~ Out of everything, in the end, there is truth. Nothing but a whirlpool of truth. Struggling for breath, but finding it right in front of you. Reach out and grasp that rope, that life-line tied to everything. Find it, and breath, for tomorrow is another day. I know waking up is arduous, it is something we dread doing because escaping that sea of everlasting fantasies contained in the limbic system is far too bitter to think of. If it were up to me, I would take your hand and we'd go back there together, if only to live in a dream where you and I can be together, forever, without a worry weighing us down. Somewhere in my mind... somewhere where I know we can be. I love you my dear, keep fighting through those days that seem endless, because remember I am there. I am that one calm island among the turbulent ocean, beckoning you to the warm embrace of my shores. The Seventh Apple - Part 2
The next morning we get a better idea of where we are. We go downstairs together, still holding hands. There’s a kitchen with tables and chairs. I think the furniture is second-hand. It’s bruised. The room smells of oatmeal. A kettle hisses on a worktop. There are a few women there, other lodgers I guess. They eat while seven children hide under the table legs. They play with toys which like the table were loved once. Faye comes in and waves us to a table. The other women smile sympathetically as we sit.
She sits us down to explain. This is a shelter for families that have been broken. Some of the women have the tell-tale marks on their face. I recognise them because I have them too. I doubt they all got them from walking into doors. I never knew this place existed before, but that’s because its top secret, Faye says. The contact number is guarded by charities and even the police, and given only to those who need it; who need somewhere neut

Twas the end of Christmas Day on Mt. Crumpet. . .
After the big Christmas gathering abroad at the Grinches cave, the Whos left for home, giving him one final wave. This had the Grinch pondering over the company he'd just had. Knowing deep down inside that the noise wasn't so bad. Particularly from the ones who stood by his side. Who never gave up on him, no matter how hard he'd tried. Cindy Lou who, whom he considered a jewel. To be mean to her now, would be horrible and cruel.
But there was also Martha Mea, who remained on his mind. Who turned down Agustus, and stood by his side. Who made his heart swell to the brim, full of pride. Yet now that the huge gathering was all said and done, she'd too had gone off with the others. . .and left him as one. And now. . .the Grinch found himself looking out at the same vast, empty space of a cave that he had before. So empty in fact, that he found himself at the door. Overcome with sadness that it was over and done. He

Her Butler, Proud
It was nearing twilight as the last fractals of light disappeared into the nighttime clouds of a periwinkle sky. Carriages clattered noisily through the streets of London chauffeuring the elite of society to the nearest theaters and other forms of entertainment.
From the depths of the large city a single stately house sat in mild splendor, with warm light wafting through large clear-cut windows. From within the home, a couple finished dressing to the nines and made their way down to the entryway where their Butler awaited to help them into their coats.
The Master of the house- a nearly twenty-five year old Ciel Phantomhive- regally shrugged into his overcoat, before holding out his arm to his wife. With an intelligent light blue eye the man gazed at her, before once more returning his attention to the statuesque figure dressed in black.

HatterXReader(SyFy Alice):Part 1It was late, just a few hours before midnight. You were curled up on a comfy beige sofa in a blanket while mindlessly watching tv. You were currently staying with your friend Alice at her large apartment in the city for a couple weeks. You had met the beautiful British girl a few months ago and the two of you had become friends almost instantly. She was quirky, highly imaginative, and always had a way of going with the flow no matter what kind of crazy situations you both got into. You felt comfortable around Alice because you could tell her all your ridiculous fantasies and daydreams and she would never judge you for them. In fact she seemed rather to encourage the impossible. Some days you would both just make up silly scenarios and stories and get caught up pretending they were real. Being around Alice was as natural and comfortable as breathing. And gave her heart to the sky.
She tied up leaves
Around her sleeves
And pretended she could fly.
One morning in mid Winter
On a day that felt more like Spring,
She opened her ears
To the sound of tears
And imagined she could sing.
Overhead the birds would sweep
In sunshine or in rain.
Part of a crowd
They were happy and proud
And ignorant of her pain.
With a final farewell to teardrops
She climbed the tallest tower...
In her silent voice
She made her choice
Knowing freedom was in her power.
With her gaze up to the heavens
She felt then only peace,
As she took one step more
That trailed across the floor
She finally sought release.
The world lit up in sun beams
As she soared high on makeshift wings,
And the birds gathered round
Because they had found
They could hear music when she sings.

Cheshire chuckled at her, "Care for some tea, love?"
"After that encounter? I'd rather eat paste."
He strode over to her, butting his head into her shoulder, indicating she could lean on him.
He walked her over to a slight ledge, helping her sit. Alice flinched as she moved, one of the eyepots having struck her quite viciously across her back when she was turning to attack her other foes.
"Alice, what's wrong?"
She clenched her teeth as the fabric of her dress brushed across the fresh wound.
He moved around to stand behind her, and paused for a moment, concentrating hard, feeling a rush of energy course through his veins, letting it drift through his every cell, pulling him, changing him. Cheshire shuddered, disliking the adjustment of limbs. He knelt next to Alice,

She was testy and irritable, as she usually was, but today's events seemed to goad within her a certain anxiousness to accompany her bad temper.
Stayne, standing dutifully next to her, watched her fingers clench and unclench on the arms of the throne. She bit her lip and made a visible attempt to relax, leaning back into the large throne as far as her massive head would allow, only to lean forward again, picking up her small scepter to flick some imaginary dust off of it.
The Knave's brows creased, not so much out of concern than for curiosity. Normally when the Red Queen had something on her mind, some trifle or another, she wasted no time in whining to him about how it wasn't fair or that it was giving her a headache.

I was visiting London for another massacre. That the police couldn't solve. It was a very dark night I liked it . I was stabbing , slashing and cutting until I saw the most beautiful girl I've ever landed my eyes on. She had dark , shoulder length hair , very pale skin and soft green eyes to stare over. She looked depressed in many ways. I was going to walk up to her but she was asking a woman something. The woman rejected to answer and just mumbled things. The beautiful girl walked in a therapist inn and looked more depressed. I couldn't help but follow her. Even though I stopped to slit a few more throats. By the time I found out the room she was in she was in a blue dress and an omega necklace . I regret getting there late . She was sitting on the bed in the corner, holding a rabbit doll. I will never forget how she looked at me , most girls would scream or hug me. Yet she just looked at not fear but with a casual look.

Everyone is walking out the door,

It makes me wonder,
about all the bad talk that could be going on.
If they bad talk the so called better people,
it makes me wonder all the bad they say about me.
What do they call me?
A bad friend? When I'm always there.
Desperate? When I only like one guy.
A downer? When I hide sadness around everyone.
A big mouth? When I listen to problems and not talk about mine.
These people are what I call "friends",
say they are there when they are not.
Luckily I still have a few friends,
that will help me to the end.

"You have no idea how happy I am to see you," Alice breathed, as she clutched Hatter tight. Slowly they broke apart from their embrace, and studied each other silently for a moment.
Hatter's clothes were somewhat more humanoid, his trademark hat absent from his head and a new one in his hand, his thick brown hair less tousled and more smooth and combed over-but there was that sexy mischievous glitter in his eye, and regardless of all the physical changes, she knew it was still him, still Hatter, still her Hatter.
Hatter gazed at Alice, knowing that he would never let himself lose her again. He'd journeyed into this strange world just to find her, and finally here she was, right before his eyes. Before he could think better of it, he leaned in slightly and found her lips. He felt Alice's hand reach up to rest on his neck as the kiss deepened.
