It was a dark night on the Thousand Sunny and a thunder storm was slowly closing in. But as of now the whole crew was asleep, except for Usopp and Chopper. The former was currently telling the little reindeer a bedtime story, and for once this one wasn't about the adventures of the great Captain Usopp. This story was about a warrior who defended his village from many powerful terrors, until one day, a powerful sorceress attacked his village, intending to brainwash the villagers into her personal slaves. Chopper was gripping his duvet tightly as Usopp continued the story.
"And with a single swing of his sword, he cut down the wicked sorceress. He was victorious." Usopp whispered loudly so as not to wake the others."
"Yay." Chopper cheered quietly.
"Butů"Usopp then said.
"The sorceress had one last trick up her sleeve. 'You may have defeated me and saved your village warrior. But I always get the last laugh' she said. 'Ha! What can you possibly do you

We all have our scars. Be it physical, emotional, psychological, and, or, mental, etc. Some scars can be beautiful, even sexy, in a way...
Others...mostly the kind that cannot be seen...are hideous.
One thing is certain, however:
Every scar has a story.
Nico Robin...she has many scars. The kind that cannot be seen on her skin...but she bears scars on her mind and her heart.
As a child, she was treated as a monster by the other children. Her relatives on her mother's side of the family were no better, either. They always told her that she was never meant to do anything good in the world, and that she was better off alone. They treated her cousin as if she were a princess, and they treated her as though she were only a burden...

Another beautiful afternoon on the Thousand Sunny, home to the Straw Hat Pirates.
Not a sound was to be heard on said pirate ship. Well…except for the sound of two laughing children.
“You can’t catch me, Belle!” called an 8-year-old Roronoa Hanako as he ran around the lawn deck from a 3-year-old Monkey D. Bellemere, or simply Belle for short.
“Oh, yes I will!” Belle called as she chased her best friend around. “Get back here!”
As the children laughed, the grownups sat in the galley together, enjoying each other’s company.
Pirate King Monkey D. Luffy, chuckled as he listened to his daughter and “nephew” playing.
“It’s amazing how those two can get along so well,” Luffy said as he sat next to his beloved wife, Nami.
“Yeah,” Nami agreed as she drank some jasmine tea. “Those two are almost like brother and sister.”

Okay, so why LuffyxNami?
Why would they be such a great couple?
I think the answer lies in the way they behave around each other.
Have you noticed how comfortable they are with each other? The way they always seem to understand each other, without having to explain things?
The way they always believe in each other,
even if there is significant reason NOT to? I have.
The reason these two work is not only that they'd be incredibly cute together (admit it!), but that it's a realistic possibility.
Think about it, if these two were real people, they would already be married.
They have all the factors that make a healthy, loving relationship.
They care about each other.
They trust each other.
They're loyal to each other.
And most importantly, they're comfortable with each other.
Luffy seems like the kind of person who views relationships in terms of being mutually helpful to each other.
He hand-picked his crew based on how useful they could be to him.
But he also keeps in min

Another birthday for one of the Straw Hat Pirates, and this time, it belonged to their number one musician: "Soul King" Brook.
"Happy Birthday, Brook!" everyone exclaimed.
"Yohohohoho!" Brook chortled. "Thank you, minna-san!"
Soon, the festivities were in full swing. There was good music, cake, presents, you name it. Brook got all kinds of new instruments: an acoustic guitar from Luffy, a piccolo from Nami, a Japanese koto from Zoro, a trumpet from Usopp, a trombone from Sanji, a harmonica from Chopper, a harp from Robin (the smaller kind that you can carry), a double bass from Franky, a bongo drum from Blizzard, and a kazoo from Aika and Kumi.
"Thank you so much...!" Brook sniffled. "This has to be one of the best birthdays I've ever had...!"
"Oh, and it gets better!" Luffy added.

Luffy had went back outside into the blustering snowstorm. This time, because he had eaten and had gotten himself warmed up a bit, he'd be able to endure it. If he could fight through the Freezing Hell of Impel Down, then surely he could fight through this!
He had to for the sake of Nami's Christmas spirit.
As Luffy continued to trudge on through the snow, wind, and ice, he saw something in the distance. He couldn't quite make it out, but as he walked closer, he saw that whatever it was, it appeared to be glowing bright enough for him to see through all this blurry snow.
"Light?" Luffy questioned.
He climbed up the hill to get a better look, and when he reached the top, he gasped at what he saw.
The Sunny all lit up with bright, colorful lights!
He found it!
"The ship!" Luffy cried with joy. With newfound strength, Luffy slid down the hill and

"ISLAND!" Nami looked away from her most recent project, a map of their last island, hearing the excited calls of her captain. Setting down the pen, she left her drawing station and exited her room onto the the deck of the Thousand Sunny. As her eyes adjusted to the sun light, she casually looked around noticing each of her crew mates actions. As always, Luffy was jumping up and down pointing towards the incoming landmass. Usopp and Chopper were looking off the side also excited as their captain. Many of the other crewmates began appearing one by one; Zoro from training in the crow's nest, Robin from the library, Franky from his workshop, and their newest member Brook from who knows where.

Luffy sat down on the bleachers to take a breather. He was soon joined by Zoro, who handed him a bottle of water.

Today's the birthday of the Straw Hat pirates' shipwright, "Cyborg" Franky.
"Happy Birthday, Franky!!" the Straw Hats cheered.
"THANKS, YOU GUYS~!!!!" Franky bawled. "And I'm not crying, I'm just sweating through my eyes!"
"Sure, you are, Franky," spoke Nami. "Sure you are."
Nami gave Franky his gift: a dozen Hawaiian shirts. From Usopp: new carpenter tools. Luffy's gift was 20 pairs of Speedoes, since Franky only had one pair. From Chopper, some new sunglasses. Sanji's gift was some polish for his horn. From Brook, a mix CD of all of his favorite songs. From Robin, a book on the history of ships. Zoro's gift was a pack of six bottles of cola.
Up next was Blizzard's gift.
"Here's some advice," Blizzard started with Luffy translating. "PUT SOME DAMN PANTS ON."
"Good advice," replied Franky. "but, no."

The next morning, Ace and Luffy drove to the animal shelter with Blizzard, but upon arriving, they learned that the shelter wasn't taking anymore dogs because of the recent rescue that had been made.
That didn't deter Ace, however. When he said that he won't allow Blizzard in the house, he meant it.
He started posting "Lost Dog" posters around town, seeing if Blizzard actually did belong to someone, despite Luffy's insisting that he was a stray.
So far, no one had contacted him about it, yet.
Ace had just finished preparing lunch and was about to call Luffy inside from the backyard.
Suddenly, the phone started to ring.
Ace picked up the receiver and pressed the "talk" button.
"Hello?" said Ace.
"Yo, Ace. It's me."
"Oh, hey, Marco!"
"Listen, I saw these posters that you set up about some dog you and Luffy found."

Ace pulled up to the garage in his red Ferrari with flame decal. As he did, he smelled the scent of oregano, garlic, basil, marinara sauce, and pasta. He figured that Luffy must've been making dinner for himself since he couldn't wait any longer. Ace wouldn't blame him though. He skipped breakfast and he possibly skipped lunch, too.
As Ace entered, he was in for quite the surprise.
Luffy was sitting at the table, lethargically leaning back in his chair, an empty plate in front of him, his mouth and hands covered in sauce, and a stomach full of spaghetti, but that wasn't what surprised Ace.
What surprised him was the big white dog standing on the table, eating a plate of spaghetti.
"What the hell?!" Ace shouted, questioningly.
Luffy snapped out of his food coma upon hearing his brother's voice. When he saw him, he gasped and stood from his chair.
