this is the actual concept i had pictured in my brain. i wanted to do something that looks like a screen cap but pencilled. i needed to go back to work, so i just pasted in a bioshock concept art for the BG and tweaked it in PS.

so just to be clear, THE BACKGROUND IS NOT BY ME. IT IS BIOSHOCK CONCEPT ART.

full disclosure: i didn't finish the game. i quit midway through. what can i say? i'm a pussy. video games for me are a very visceral experience. i REALLY get into the games. most times i CANNOT play if i'm alone in the house. i get the shakes after playing something intense like rainbow six or halflife. anyway, bioshock got to be like work and stopped being fun. i quit and switched to R6 vegas instead.

Here's the Big Sister, from BioShock 2! Again, made in super sculpey, painted with acrylics. I didn't have much to work on for how she looked though, unfortunately, as there isn't much art around of her at the moment!

Oh, and I ran out of clay before I could make a Little Sister in the cage.. bah!

(Oh, I will admit, I added the slight glow on the helmet window with Photoshop afterwards ;) )

IT IS DONE!

Finally after a month or so of here and there scratching.

It didn't help that by the end, my scratch tool wasn't scratching the way I wanted it to :( But I love how it came out still.

DO NOT USE THIS ARTWORK WITHOUT MY PERMISSION

Original design is the GameInformer magazine cover showing a screen of the game.
Bioshock belongs to 2K Games
I simply scratched the artwork.

About The MOC
Well...I don't think this needs a whole lot of introduction. I built Big Daddy from the Bioshock franchise of video games. I had contemplated making my own version of BD after every other lego or bionicle version I've seen failed to impress me. Seeing and playing him as a character in Playstation All Stars Battle Royal finally pushed me over the edge to actually take a crack at building Big Daddy.
The build was initially very challenging to me because I had no idea how I was going to approach some key aspects of the MOC, like the portholes. The helmet and drill were actually figured out a long time ago. Those were the easiest parts, the hard part was EVERY THING ELSE! :phew:
Overall I'm content with the MOC. The proportions are off from the actual character. His Body isn't as bulky in the back or sides as the original, and I think this in turn makes the legs too long. BD's legs are stubbier than they are hear. I think the thing to consider though is this isn't a MOC made with any and ever part I needed, this was a MOC made with what I happened to have at the time. With that being said, I'm happy with how he turned out. :meow:

"Big Daddy," "little sister," Bioshock, and the bioshock logo are all owned by Irrational Games. I claim no ownership to any intellectual Property other than the MOC and photos of said MOC.

Alien VS. Predator
front view

Here comes the whole figures, for more turnaround details please refer at:
like me! Thanks!

I made this scene for a client's request before the movie came out.
The reference was limited due to the confidential of movie. And the concept drawing was a bit rough. It was designed for mass production, not for one of a kind.
So the details were not too much, also need to think of possible molding.
It was a nightmare to a sculptor that searched in the dark without good reference.
But it looks ok to the client and passed the approval of 20th Century Fox.

13 inches, final product: polyresin
