CBS just announced their Fall schedule, and they're giving Supergirl a slot at 8PM on Mondays. There are also a couple of new promotional stills giving us a look at three of the main characters, and a new synopsis. Oh, and for those wondering if Kara's slightly more famous cousin would be making an appearance, all that has been confirmed is that he is "part of the show's mythology" and will at the very least be referenced.
SUPERGIRL is an action-adventure drama based on the DC Comics character Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist), Superman’s (Kal-El) cousin who, after 12 years of keeping her powers a secret on Earth, decides to finally embra

Nude modeling and Healing from TraumaI have discovered this is a common theme with other nude models I have met. Those of use who experienced childhood sexual trauma and later became a nude model is a catalyst for healing from the past, really a way to empower ourselves.Nude modeling and Healing from Trauma3 years ago in Personal More Like This
Most of my upbringing I was sexually abused by several people most notably my stepfather who later went to prison. In addition to the abuse I was not loved by my mother and had the responsibility for caring for my youngest sister during my teenage years. Already a classic introvert, I was extremely lonely and lived in survival mode everyday. My first taste of freedom was when I left home the day after my 18th birthday.
In my late teens I went to modeling school and for a few years was a model in the local town. Mostly fashion shows. Throughout the years I would do shoots for amateur photographers. Then in graduate school I had my first nude shoot in Big Sur, California with a professional photographer. It was my first taste of being comfortable in front o

Born AgainThis Tuesday, the 23rd, I ended my life as Michael Schmit and started my life as Noah Page. It's been a long, three month process and a few hundred dollars, but it's done. No going back now.Born Again3 years ago in Personal More Like This
Yesterday, the 24th, was my birthday. 28 years ago I started my journey, and yesterday I took time to remember that. It was serendipity that it was the day after my name change hearing, but something about it rang true to me. My first birthday as a new person.
Yesterday, the 24th, early in the morning, my Grandpa died.
His journey as Grover ended. His next, whatever it might be, just began.
It's a sentiment I used to fear, then disdain, then simply ignore.
But now, meditating on reincarnation and renewal
I see it happening all the time.
Enjoy your new day everyone.
Justice League War Premiere(s) UPDATEJust wanted to UPDATE this journal with another quick clip of some of our interviews from Tuesday night's premiere in NYC. This one was a bit strange because I didn't want to look right in the cell phone camera... it was so close to my face, lol! Enjoy the awkwardness.Justice League War Premiere(s) UPDATE2 years ago in Personal More Like This
YO! I just returned safely from our JL: War Premiere in beautiful and blizzardous NYC, and I just wanted to thank all the fans and comics and animation press that braved the insane weather to come see us! You guys and gals helped make it a really special night for us, and on behalf of the cast and crew I want you to know that it is deeply appreciated. We have another JL War screening coming up NEXT THURSDAY the 30th of January at the Paley center in LA. Not sure if tickets are still being sold, but I do believe it's still possible to get in for the resourceful and dedicated who either love what we do, or can't wait to tell us how much we suck to our faces!

Justice League: The Flashpoint ParadoxOver the last few months I have been getting a lot of questions here on DA about what my next project would be and when it might be announced and released. Also, I am thrilled to say, that a lot of you awesome friends and fans have expressed the idea that following Young Justice, you would like to see more DC animation work from me. Well I am happy to reveal that the next project featuring my design work is the recently announced Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox, directed by the super talented Jay Oliva, and it will hit the streets on July 30th. I did the designs for this film last spring and summer (after production wrapped on YJ: Invasion) and we just finished post production on the project last month. I gotta say that thanks to all the tremendous talent involved in making this thing, it's looking pretty epic. I personally pushed my style into a slightly more exaggerated look for much of this film and I hope those of you who dug the look of Young Justice will get a kick out ofJustice League: The Flashpoint Paradox3 years ago in Personal More Like This
UpdatesMan that old journal was buggin me! Time for an update!Updates3 years ago in Personal More Like This
Although it's been over a year since we wrapped production on YJ, with the dust settling on the finale it seems like a fitting time to express my gratitude to all the people I worked with on the show and all the fans who helped make the whole experience special. I'm WAY too lazy to list ALL the amazing people here (that's what IMDB is for guys ) so I'll just keep it quick.
Deepest gratitude of course goes to Sam Register, Brandon Vietti and Greg Weisman who brought me onto the project when development began in Spring of 2009. At that point it was just the four of us meeting to discuss design and direction while Brandon and Greg began crafting the overall story and history of this version of the DCU. Without these guys there obviously would not have been a YJ cartoon at all, and although we didn't always agree on everything, I can't imagine having worked on it with anyone else really.
I also want to give major props to our awesom

The Fox is in dire jeopardyIt was only a month ago that my website had been approved by Google for advertisements, and that single-handily realized my dream of making TG content full time. However, things have really collapsed in the last 24 hours. The Fox is in dire jeopardy2 years ago in Personal More Like This
Google has disabled all ads on the site due to mature content. I got a warning last week about it, then I immediately edited anything that could be considered mature. Despite this, they stopped monetizing my site yesterday. When I asked for clarification on what was still causing a problem, I found out that they have a ridiculously strict standard as to what is considered mature content.
As just a few examples, they cited a page that only contained two images of fully clothed women, and they considered that pornography. They cited 'Crossplay 2' as porn, where the most graphic thing in that animation was two girls hugging. Even pages that only contain user comments are listed if someone writes a single word that could be considered sexual. The list goes on and on, but

Fabric, thread, machines, paints, wood, tools, thermoplastics, LEDs, mould castings, brushes, dyes, wigs, make-up, contacts, boots, prosthetics, convention tickets, travel expenses, luggage, skin care, gym... the list goes on and on. Every single cent we earn, we constantly throw it all back into making our beloved costumes and feeling good for a few hours while stressing for months prior-hand. Non-cosplayers may not get it, but we do. For us, it's not a sacrifice. The chance to hone our creative spirit and create something from nothing is a rewarding life experience. Some think that the cost of an outfit is more valuable compared to medication and psychological sessions.
But like it not, we've all gotta come to a conclusion that the hobby must come to an end for us one day, and to have some money saved up for your next step in life is a greater advantage than having nothi

Rest in peace MollyHi everyone, I just wanted to share this video of Molly with you. She was my best friend and sadly she peacefully passed away today (Dec. 21st, 2013) at the age of 21. She was the nicest cat I've ever met and she had so much love to give. That is why I want to share her love with you guys through this video. It was filmed back in July this year, when she was still her cheerful loving self. Unfortunately, her friend Shakespear died in November and ever since she faded away slowly. Although I knew it was coming, her passing is extremely difficult as I was heading home to see her for the New Year. Anyways, I know she is in a better place now alongside her friend and I hope she is happy. I love you Molly, and you'll always have a place in my heart.Rest in peace Molly2 years ago in Personal More Like This

BEFORE WATCHMEN and AH!Well, the word is out: DC Comics is returning to the world of WATCHMEN! And I am drawing all four issues of the DOCTOR MANHATTAN miniseries. First sign of the Apocalypse? You bet!BEFORE WATCHMEN and AH!4 years ago in Personal More Like This
It's great to finally be able to talk about this project. I signed on AGES ago, and have kept mum about it, until now!
WATCHMEN is arguably the greatest superhero comic ever produced, and without a doubt my absolute favorite. Being allowed to draw these amazing characters isn't actually a dream come true: I never thought something like this would happen. I'm pretty nervous, but having fun so far.
My history with WATCHMEN goes way back. In 1986 I was working at Thunder Road Comics in Burlington, New Jersey, and I sold every issue of WATCHMEN as they came out. It was a pretty amazing time: THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS was also shipping, so superhero comics were enjoying a banner year. The mullets, parachute pants, and

I'll come out with it. I've been love struck with a girl and it's something I'm not very good at so it's been an intense experience plus I haven't been to well so my motivation towards my RP works have really, declined in the past few month. Never the less I have missed you guys and I haven't forgotten about you and once things get back on track I will make a return with a solid superhero story. Hope you guys have been keeping well.

WHERE IS THE ORIGINALITY IN THAT.
WE'VE ALL SEEN IT, SO TIME TO MOVE ON. SERIOUSLY.

F*CK OFF, YOU'RE WASTING SPACE FOR ARTWORK THAT ACTUALLY DESERVES A DAILY DEVIATION.
I ain't even mad... just sick and tired of seeing the same shit.
You have decided you would like to troll my gallery and deviations which makes you a troll and an attention whore. Then you would like to be lame and block me from replying to your comments and ridiculous journal.
It is always people with no art work on this site that are simply here to complain and bitch about other people.
