This is Samantha for those of you who've never seen her before. For those of you who do know her, this is her new outfit, and her prototype arm which I spent literally an hour coming up with, making sure every part worked and made sense.
The suit was inspired mostly by Solid Snake's Octo-Camo suit from MGS4, and partly by various other random tight/stealth suits around the internet.
This particular part of the full drawing (which is nowhere near finished) took me about 12 hours. The background will surely take me twice that. So, because I don't like making you guys wait, here's the first half made into something that looks complete.
Also, i spent the most time on her ass. just saying. XP
A commission of Tankette in a swimsuit by , from back in 2008.
I recall when I got the original lineart and working with Shoxxe (good guy, very professional and friendly), and was blown away by the lines. And not simply because it's of a scantily clad woman running past, likely powered by the Force. But because the lines were sharp, the expression was strong, and the whole image just had this strong energy to it that makes her run off the page.
I enjoyed coloring it up. I think my only issues with her is the hair. Still giving me trouble. But I did attempt to incorporate light source colors. Don't quite thing I got it. Still have to work on it I think.
As for the background...look, I have no excuse. I'm not proud of it, but it got the job done.
Now where is she running to? You decide. Maybe she was out on the beach, relaxing, and someone cried out for help. Or she was running to 's pool party...it's completely up to you!
A long awaited coloring job of Jedi Master Bidu-chan, belonging to on dART. It was one of those quick sketch commissions that had offered way back, and so I took'em up on it.
If this had been inked, I think it would have been pretty fantastic, but as it was, it was really sharply done. Honestly, I spent more time working on all the special effects for the saber glow, the spin, and the background stuff than I did coloring her!
I could probably have done the lightsaber spin glow better, but it was my first time trying it. The idea was that you would see slight lines to indicate the saber was extending as she was jumping out of the fighter, signifying how fast she drew her hilt and deflected those initial shots. I think I sorta got it. So I'll have to work on that for the next one.
This is a Valentines Day gift for my amazing boyfriend. ^^ We both are a huge fan of Jake and Sherry and we played their campaign together. <3 I love him so much! <3 Here's a fan pic of Jake and Sherry from Resident Evil 6. <3
What would I look like if I were a Jedi Padawan? The answer, apparently is....chubby. I like everything about this one except the face is a bit too thick, giving her that "baby face." Other than that, I really enjoyed this one. Who else can't wait for the 3rd episode Revenge of the Sith?
"You realy think you can beat me? You have no chance, but show me what you've got!" In this scene I have placed Ánya in the position of a Jedi knight. The normal clothes of a Jedi with the cape. I find it very amusing if somebody can handle with a double-blade lightsaber. Therefore, I have given to her one with a green blade.
I have tried here a new technique to use my coloured pencils even better. With the picture I have many big surfaces which I could make better shadings.
