Don't let this short list fool you, there are TONS MORE of Nagel sets available for free online, just google them. There are a few brushes in my arsenal that I can't share since they are proprietary brushes from studios that I worked at, but they aren't anything more sophisticated than what the Nagels can do.
Also, I am 99.9% this is where the rake brush came from:

Feel free to use it, or share your ideas with me so I can add it to the list!
All Animal themed designs are sorted here. Each as a base. Lizard for instance has hundreds of species.

My imagery is free of charge, meaning that you do not have to pay to download my high-res photos, and also meaning that you do not have to pay licensing fees depending how my imagery is being used or altered. My photos are ideally aimed toward digital artists for the most part. I'd prefer my imagery to either be used as a drawing/painting reference, or manipulated with other images.
• By downloading my imagery to any computer or device, it does not mean you own the images, and it does not give you permission to redistribute or re-upload my photo files.
• Do not upload my imagery on other stock websites 'as is' or manipulated in any way.
• Do not upload my imagery on wallpaper websites 'as is' or slightly altered.• Do not throw a filter on my images and upload it (unless it's a preset/action preview).• And then of course do not download my imagery wit

Patty and Jorge's Amazing PongRecently, Patty - Undead-Academy and Jorge - batjorge reached the epic milestone of 1,000 entries in their Fractal Pong.Patty and Jorge's Amazing Pong11 months ago in Personal More Like This
In case you are unfamiliar with the term 'pong', it is an artistic collaboration between two fractalists. First one artist renders a work and passes the finished parameters to the second. The second artist renders a variation of the first work and passes the new parameters back to the first artist for their turn at tweaking. This process repeats. The artworks evolve over time and at the hands of each artist.
While pongs are not exclusive to fractals, the parameter-driven software lends itself well to this type of collaboration.
Patty & Jorge did not invent the idea of a pong but unless it can be proven otherwise, they have just finished the longest running pong in DeviantArt history.
:iconpongorama: is a group devoted to Pong Teams. We felt ourselves lucky to have Patty & Jorge join the group and let us host a

What is fractal art for you?I guess i got an apology to make, beause this was not a matter i took seriously till this week, and, i guess, just got a bunch of things to re-consider. Well, better late than neverWhat is fractal art for you?2 years ago in Art Features More Like This
One characteristic of fractal art is that is fairly reproduceable.
A real master with deep knowledge of fractal software can, just from looking at a piece, find out how it was made, and re-create it. It is actually amazing, and, a while ago, I followed with quite a lot of interest, the "duel" between FractalDesire and zy0rg, when they both tried - and succeeded - in reproducing each other`s artworks.
Generous people share parameters and allow other people to tweak them or just study them and learn. For example, the longest fractal pong on deviantART, by Undead-Academy and batjorge
My Lovely FriendsI originally intended to do something like this for Christmas, but I unfortunately wasn't back in time. Here's a little tribute (idea shamelessly copied from Celvas) to all of the lovely and fabulous friends I've made during 2013.My Lovely Friends2 years ago in Personal More Like This
I think the first time we met was when you won one of the contests for Rising-Artists, and even then, I remember thinking how beautiful your art style was. Then I got to know you more personally, and whether I was working with you as part of the admin team or bonding over being a fellow CSS-er, it has certainly been lovely knowing you this year.
Since your Movember moustache is gone, you should consider yourself lucky that I haven't removed you from my watch list. I had always admired you from afar because of your pretty ^ hat, but as I got to know you more, I began to admire you less. Just kidding! Actually, your level of dedication to the community truly amaze

I liked this entry, as well as all of their entries for being based in history, this one in particular struck me
Quote: "War is where the young and stupid are tricked by the old and bitter into killing each other"
This one was very simple in execution but hit the nail on the head
Quote: "We stopped checking for monsters when we realized they were inside us"
this was probably the most used quote, and there were plenty of amazing entries for it, but this one was my absolute favorite
CONGRATULATIONS! I will make a Journal tomorrow featuring all entrants, as well as the honorable mentio

After numerous delays, an homage to the old days of Doom v1.666
The major bit of news is that, from now on, all releases will happen on Windows, Mac and Linux in parallel. My colleagues at Glare have helped me tremendously in getting Chaotica set up to build right next to Indigo Renderer using a fully automated build system on all platforms, so the days of some platform releases lagging behind are over! A lot of code cleanup and bugfixing (notably saving/loading of final transforms in .chaos format) has gone on between this and the last releas
