‘Hatter’, Alice began. ‘I recall leaving you in a decrepit condition, but not in pieces.’
‘Yeah.’ Sora joined in. ‘Your body was still there when your head exploded.’
The Mad Hatter snapped from his rabbling as he was picked up. ‘What? What? Oh… It’s you…’
‘What happened here?’ Alice asked. ‘You lost your hat, and some… Parts are missing.’
‘So that’s what different about him!’ Goofy exclaimed. ‘I thought it was the hair.’
Donald face palmed as the Mad Hatter spoke. ‘Missing indeed. Though, things being what they are… I barely miss their missing. As to what happened, you should know better than I! It’s your place, after all
Victims Too Young: A short Alice and Jeff story. Two girls ran through the woods, both had unnatural hair colors. One had blue hair while the other had pink. “Lucy! This way!” called the blue-haired girl, “I-I’m coming, Riley!” called the pink haired girl named Lucy. Crouched behind a bush, Alice smiled to herself, how fun it would be to see these girls suffer. She nearly jumped when she felt a hand on her shoulder. “Did you find them?” he whispered,
“Yeah. They seem easy enough targets.” Alice whispered back, not taking her eyes off Riley and Lucy. They were getting out of range of her eyesight.
“Come on, we gotta keep moving.” he said, Alice nodded and went back into a standing position, he took her hand and they walked, careful not to show that they were there. Alice laughed quietly,
“Why not make them feel a little… Paranoia?” she said, Jeff stopped moving, and tur
~The Missing Puzzle Piece~ Out of everything, in the end, there is truth. Nothing but a whirlpool of truth. Struggling for breath, but finding it right in front of you. Reach out and grasp that rope, that life-line tied to everything. Find it, and breath, for tomorrow is another day. I know waking up is arduous, it is something we dread doing because escaping that sea of everlasting fantasies contained in the limbic system is far too bitter to think of. If it were up to me, I would take your hand and we'd go back there together, if only to live in a dream where you and I can be together, forever, without a worry weighing us down. Somewhere in my mind... somewhere where I know we can be. I love you my dear, keep fighting through those days that seem endless, because remember I am there. I am that one calm island among the turbulent ocean, beckoning you to the warm embrace of my shores. To hold you, to place a sweet chaste kiss on your lips, to tell you that there is such thing as happiness, e~The Missing Puzzle Piece~7 months ago in Free Verse More Like This

The Seventh Apple - Part 2
The next morning we get a better idea of where we are. We go downstairs together, still holding hands. There’s a kitchen with tables and chairs. I think the furniture is second-hand. It’s bruised. The room smells of oatmeal. A kettle hisses on a worktop. There are a few women there, other lodgers I guess. They eat while seven children hide under the table legs. They play with toys which like the table were loved once. Faye comes in and waves us to a table. The other women smile sympathetically as we sit.
She sits us down to explain. This is a shelter for families that have been broken. Some of the women have the tell-tale marks on their face. I recognise them because I have them too. I doubt they all got them from walking into doors. I never knew this place existed before, but that’s because its top secret, Faye says. The contact number is guarded by charities and even the police, and given only to those who need it; who need somewhere neut

After re-joining with the others, Alice, Sora, Donald and Goofy travelled to a desolate and forbidden place with lava fountains and skeletons scattered all over the place. Inside, they could hear the growling of the Jabberwock, the Red Queen’s champion.
‘Must we go in there?’ Donald asked, his legs shaking.
‘We came so far.’ Goofy said. ‘There is no turning back.’
Sora looked at Alice. He grabbed her hand and gave it a slight squeeze. Alice squeezed back and smiled at him before letting go. The group readied their weapons and strode slowly into the lair. As they enter the lair, they stopped as they behold a creature that was most horrifying so far during their encounter. The creature resembled a giant, green lizard with mechanical wings, glowing yellow orbs for eyes and a burning furnace attached to its’ chest. This half-monster and half-machine was en

I invite you to a world where there is no such thing as time
And every creature lends themselves to change your state of mind
And the girl that chased the rabbit, drank the wine, and took the pill
Has locked herself in limbo to see how it truly feels
To stand outside your virtue
No one can ever hurt you
Or so they say
Her name is Alice (Alice)
She crawls into the window
Through shapes and shadows
And even though she's dreaming, she knows
Sometimes the curiosity can kill the soul but leave the pain
And every ounce of innocence is left inside her brain
And through the looking glass we see she's painfully returned
But now off with her head I fear is everyone's concern
You see there's no real ending
It's only the beginning
Come out and play

Taking Up the Gauntlet
When April entered the sewer lair, she found Splinter meditating on the couch in the common room. At the sound of her footsteps he turned and looked up at her as she stood at the top of the stairs. A long, uncomfortable silence filled the room. The soft beeping and chirping of the arcade games only made the silence even louder. There were many questions Splinter wanted to ask her. He wanted to know what happened with the pigeon man, why she had come back alone, where his sons were and what they were doing, and so on. But from her dismal demeanor, her slumped shoulders and downcast eyes, he sensed that those questions would have to wait.
His furry white brows drew together in concern. "You seem tired."
She nodded her head listlessly, eyes focused on the space of floor between her feet.
Picking up his walking stick, he rose from the couch. "Come with me." He turned and walked toward the kitchen.

And gave her heart to the sky.
She tied up leaves
Around her sleeves
And pretended she could fly.
One morning in mid Winter
On a day that felt more like Spring,
She opened her ears
To the sound of tears
And imagined she could sing.
Overhead the birds would sweep
In sunshine or in rain.
Part of a crowd
They were happy and proud
And ignorant of her pain.
With a final farewell to teardrops
She climbed the tallest tower...
In her silent voice
She made her choice
Knowing freedom was in her power.
With her gaze up to the heavens
She felt then only peace,
As she took one step more
That trailed across the floor
She finally sought release.
The world lit up in sun beams
As she soared high on makeshift wings,
And the birds gathered round
Because they had found
They could hear music when she sings.

You were currently staying with your friend Alice at her large apartment in the city for a couple weeks. You had met the beautiful British girl a few months ago and the two of you had become friends almost instantly. She was quirky, highly imaginative, and always had a way of going with the flow no matter what kind of crazy situations you both got into. You felt comfortable around Alice because you could tell her all your ridiculous fantasies and daydreams and she would never judge you for them. In fact she seemed rather to encourage the impossible. Some days you would both just make up silly scenarios and stories and get caught up pretending they were real. Being around Alice was as natural and comfortable as breathing. You never felt the need to hide who you really were or watch what you said in her presence. She always knew when it was going to snow. Ever since she was a child she would wake up and feel it. A heaviness, in her bones and skin, and she would stand outside on one of the palace balconies and wait for the cloud to release their burden. It would be a long process, sometimes she would wait all day, but the moment that first flake fell it made the whole thing worthwhile. She would feel the weight lift from her and be replaced by a light, airy bliss. She would spend the rest of the day with her head in the clouds. Anna would recall that if she did she her sister on these days she seemed so happy, but she never quite knew why.

It was a cold January evening. Elsa, only age six, sat beside her younger sister on a snow covered log. The two had spent the chilly snow day together, building silly snowmen and brushing the powdered pearls off their shoulders. The birds of Arendelle began to grow silent as the sun slowly set.
"Girls!" Elsa's mother called. "It's time to come in now. I've made some hot cocoa for you."
Anna giddily rose from the log and tottered towards their mother. Elsa also rose, but slowly and sadly. She felt safe in the snow. She wasn't ready to feel the harsh warmth of the castle. "Mommy, do I have to?"
"Yes, Elsa. You've been out here all day and I don't want you to catch a cold. Hurry along now." Her mother placed her hand on her shoulder and shuffled her into the castle.
Anna happily climbed the stairs with her mother by her side. Elsa dawdled behind, gazing at the snowflakes out the window. "I wish it could be winter forever."
"I don't," their mother chuckled. She scooted Elsa along and escor

Jack landed softly on the snow-covered ground. He had been flying around exploring the world when he had spotted something in the mountains.
A girl was walking lonely in the darkness with a red cape dragging behind her. Jack felt like something was pulling him toward her. He knew she could not see so he decided to follow her for a bit. She was walking slowly with the wind against her slowly climbing up the mountain.
There was something about her; it looked like she was broken as if she had lost everything.
Suddenly she started to sing, her clear voice filled the cold empty air.
Jack felt like someone just had hit him in the stomach. The song was full with sadness, he wanted to put his arms around her hold her and comfort her.
But just as it sounded like the girl was going to break down she raised her voice and the song got a different tone.
She threw up her glove and ice sparkle from her hands. Jack took a deep breath; she had the same power as him. He wa

When Elsa woke up, Jack was still sleeping. She figured she would prepare him breakfast so he could regain some strength. She remembered she had some food to prepare in an ice box in her kitchen in case Anna was ever to visit. As far as she remembered, there was fruit and a few foods that could spoil like eggs, milk, and cheese. She didn't eat as much as her warm sibling did, but she did eat occasionally for nourishment.
She slowly opened the ice box and removed a jar of yogurt. She scooped the yogurt into a freezing bowl. After that she cut some fruit and placed it in the yogurt. To top off the breakfast, she poured a glass of milk into a frozen mug. She smiled to herself in success; she wasn't the best host, but she felt as if she succeeded.
She heard the sleepy boy stir down the stairs. He lazily slumped into a dining room chair, not noticing Elsa peak from the kitchen. "Good morning," she said suddenly.
Jack flinched. "Oh! I didn't see you. Good morning."
"I hope you like yogurt. T

"After that encounter? I'd rather eat paste."
He strode over to her, butting his head into her shoulder, indicating she could lean on him.
He walked her over to a slight ledge, helping her sit. Alice flinched as she moved, one of the eyepots having struck her quite viciously across her back when she was turning to attack her other foes.
"Alice, what's wrong?"
She clenched her teeth as the fabric of her dress brushed across the fresh wound.
He moved around to stand behind her, and paused for a moment, concentrating hard, feeling a rush of energy course through his veins, letting it drift through his every cell, pulling him, changing him. Cheshire shuddered, disliking the adjustment of limbs. He knelt next to Alice,
