OH MAN were these costumes work. They have 0 stretch to them, so making them fit (especially the bodysuit!) was difficult. I also broke abou 12 needles in total, it was frustrating but totally worth it.

New photo of this costume from a night shoot. Love how the colors make it look like a 90's Batman movie.
Construction Notes Body suit and leggings are made from a matte metallic spandex in black. white detail on the body suit is metallic spandex sewn directly on top. The belt, gloves, knee pads, pouches, and leg straps are all made of purple vinyl. Bonus, for having functional pouches to keep all my stuff in while at con! I couldn't find a purple that matched the vinyl I had so I found something close. It's a purple gabardine trimmed in white gabardine. While I love that it doesn't wrinkle in suitcases, it makes this costume SUPER hot. Oh well! The cape was the trickiest part of the costume and consists of a front, back and collar pieces. It zips up the back to get it on and off. As for the mask it was made of wonderflex and painted. Stays on with elastic. Wig is off of Ebay. Boots just had the soles painted.
i'm still in awe of how perfect a shoot and perfect a day it was getting to wear this costume. It was everything i could have ever dreamed of, my friends made me feel like a real ocean queen ;u;
Made because i absolutely FUCKING LOVE THE OCEAN and I adore the flashpoint movie!!! I ended up watching it 3 times the week it came out cause i kept showing it to people haha. I wish mera had done more in it than just get cheated on, get sad and die lmao poor mera
Bikini bottom and top are made from 14$ a yard wool jersey, double layered, and the black on the top of the bikini is faux leather. The trims and ornaments are either necklaces hand sewn on or bracelets/earrings I took pliers to. The Cape is attached to the faux leather necklace and little elastic bands that go around my wrists. It's this insanely gorgeous silk chiffon i fell in love with AT STUPID MOOD so it was 18$ a yard but it was totally worth it cause it's GORGEOUS. Cape is finished with a pearl hem!! Wigs are two wigs wefted together for extra comic OOMPH
Let me start by saying this is a cheap store bought Wonder Woman costume. I really never had any desire to cosplay WW but my husband really wanted me to do it. So here it is. The sword is real, everything else costume wise you can find at your local costume/party store. I always liked Wonder Woman, I just don't have the best body to play her.
