At What PointAt what point do you decide to live?At What Point2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
To kiss away the knife of your mind
As it bleeds into your core
Cleaving your sanity
At what point do you breathe?
To inhale your heartbeat
So as to remind you
There’s air in this world
At what point do you hope?
To cross one star to another, amongst a sea of black
Knowing that what’s dark
Will only help stir the brightest of lights
At what point do you value?
To be indebted to the ground that you were raised
And walk its path
With a rightful stride
At what point do you concede?
To let these words pry their way in
Nestling with you
Rousing your conscience

we forever want it embedded
And even if the colors fade,

Or even if we form a strong abhor;

I'd call you my precious moon,

I'd call you my sunshine,

I'd call you my family,

Well, let me state something rather truthful to you, this is no ordinary day. I find your cousin is quite enchanting. You let out a sarcastic laugh, still refusing to look at him. "Oh come on, last time you said something like that, I ended up with about nine loftwing eggs in my hair, and it took three showers to rid the smell!"
"But (Name), this time I am not willing to play a prank on you. Please turn around!" He pleaded, with a childish tone in his voice.

I don't plan on exploring the darker corners of this dungeon, either. My heart continues to race, and I bite my lip. Okay, let's start from the beginning. I woke up in this dungeon, and then what? There's nothing around me. No clues as to who I'm am... I look at the clothes I'm wearing. I'm wearing a small white dress and brown boots. Still no clues.

Take a Break
So, haven't we all heard this one? Believe me, though. It is true. My dad always suggests when I'm on an artist's block to put it down for a day and write a story. Play a video game, read a book. Geez, study for that quiz on Wednesday! Do something else, as long as that something else doesn't involve getting you killed. Also, don't force yourself to draw or write something if you're on a block. Believe me, (I've tried) it'll turn out absolutely horrible. I suppose the only exception to this would be an art or writing homework assignment (For us students) that's due the next day.
Ok, I know above I said not to force yourself to draw. Perhaps I should've said something like, "Don't force you

A General History of ZaninZANIN “When the wind blows, build windmills, not walls.”A General History of Zanin2 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
OVERVIEWThe Kingdom of Zanin is one of the two countries that form the Wind alliance. Zanin is noted for a large population concentrated around its urban hubs, and, like its sister nation Aquinyl, is an island country. Its capital, Zickeron City, is the center of its trade network, spanning across the Wind Alliance. Zanin is also, like Aquinyl, very fertile, and the combined territory of the Wind Alliance is often referred to as the greenlands for its material abundance, as well as affiliation with Rayquaza.
ETYMOLOGYThe etymology of Zanin is disputed among various historians. The most widely accepted school of thought is that Zanin is derived from the name of Zanin’s earliest monarch, Zaine the Just, though others favor alternatives such as the origins of the name being rooted in the aboriginal language of Zanin’s word for “central” or “fertile”, arguing that there is evide

In short, absolutely no motivation for murder.
This Kasagi killer was starting to really piss me off. So far the only pattern between the victims that we could concede was that none of them had deserved to die. That didn't really narrow it down much That statement applied to a lot more people than you'd think.
The missing identification was interesting. Forensics agreed that there was absolutely none to be found and, without the help of Sunae Michishio's neighbours, we wouldn't have been able to identify her in the condition she was found in.
The only confusion we had was why the killer didn't want us to identify her. It didn't make any sense. We'd considered identify th

He watched the reunion silently. The man's eyes flitted to Aerith's face briefly, and then back down to the floor again, as if he were ashamed. Perhaps he was. At any rate, the point was moot. She bent down gently, forcing him to look up, catching his eyes and drawing his gaze from the floor. And then she smiled, and in the smile there was forgiveness, and compassion, and understanding. There was a pause, and then the man smiled back.
And so Cloud had found his peace.

No villains, no victims“No villains, no victims” sounds like an odd rule at first – you need a good guy and bad guy, right? The reader needs someone to cheer for and against. Some things are always unforgivable, and the accused is always beyond redemption. No villains, no victims2 years ago in Editorial More Like This
Well, yes and no.
Most stories do have clear-cut good guys and bad guys. We like seeing our hero win and our villain get what’s coming to him. What you don’t want to do is make your characters so obviously one way or the other. Clear-cut is boring. Now, let me qualify that statement:
When I say not to make them “obviously” good or bad, I do not mean to make their characters ambiguous. I mean that you need to bring your hero down and your villain up. Any writing guide will tell you that the hero needs a few flaws to keep him relatable, but I’ll take that a step further; we hate perfect people.
We do. We hate that archetype. Be it the perky cheerleader on top of the pyramid, the one guy who always gets p

But where to begin???
First, to have a story, you have to have…well…an idea! An idea and a little creativity.
Sometimes you get an idea that doesn’t quite work when you first think of it, but don’t worry.
I have quite a lot of ideas. Some work, some don’t. Some don’t work until you spend a lot of time thinking about and polishing them. These ideas don’t have to be grand, they can be incredibly small.
They can start with a simple thought or the punch-line of a joke(my next book after Fosterling may end up being based off a very creative and hilarious joke that pas
