The anticipation was as thick and hot as dust in their throats, but promises lied ahead in the form of a snug vacation house, a cottage nestled between ivy and roses bushes and the glossy emerald of summer leaves. Crystal lake water flowing out from the edges of a dock.
"Feels like I'm drunk," Jimmy said with a grin, smoke curling from the pinched corners of his mouth in slow lines. "Are you as excited as I am right now?"
Brian brushed the tendrils away in a stroke of his hand and chuckled.
"Remember last summer?" he sighed, pushing away the rhetorical question as easily as he had discarded the cigarette smoke. "Lying on the bank of the lake all a

4) John loved the saxophone and often put it in is songs when he went solo. John also loved jazz.
5) When John met Chuck Berry (the singer of Johnny B. Goode), he fanboyed over him. "Make a wish Ib!"
"Yay! Happy birthday! Wish wish wish~!"
Ib stared at the flickering candles, they looked at her as if they were actually staring at her. The fire, it burned her eyes, as if they were peeking into her soul some how. They reminded her of everything she had lost, everything she had yet to gain why did Ib think so deeply about the silliest of things? Why did she care so much?
She took in a deep breath, and closed her eyes. She felt like she was underwater in the deep blue.
'I wish I wish that'
Ib blew out the candles with a small smile, and looked around as everyone clapped for her. Of course Ami had to ask "What'd you wish for~?"
"I'm not saying anything." Ib hummed lightly and couldn't help but giggle, and Ami giggled in return "Aw, but Ib~"
"If I told you... it wouldn't come true."
Wishes were serious business.

I really need to get going..Matt's waiting for me. I sighed softly as I stared at my room. I was supposed to meet Matt in a half hour, but I just wasn't motivated to get up. Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat. Why can't you just come to meeeeeeee? I threw a pillow at my wall just to here a knock on my front door. "Come in!"
I heard a familiar laugh and turned my head to see Matt. "Wow Jimmy. You're lazy. It's a good thing that I came to your house, or you wouldn't have shown up."

I laughed as I threw a pillow at him. Of course, he caught it like it was nothing. "Maaan~ That's not fair!"
All he did was laugh and throw it back at me. "Hey Matt? What would you do if I died? Well...What will you do when I die?"
A loud sigh came from the male, and then he finally decided to answer. "I'd cry. And I'd be pissed at you for dying, and I'd be mad at God for taking you away from us. So don't die."Matt spoke in a soft town. I sighed softly an

After a while we ended up splitting up to find seats. The train was packed so I headed towards the back and found a seemingly empty compartment so I opened the door but someone was already sat there. I reconigzed him as the boy from earlier. He was reading a copy of The Practical Potioneer. I smiled and knocked on the door, making him jump.
"Hi... you're... Zacky right?" I asked. He smiled and nodded.
"You're... um Brian?" He asked, looking up at me with emerald green eyes. I smiled and nodded.

I was sure George was nervous. They were all nervous. Hell, even I was nervous. This was it for them. This was everything they had been killing themselves for in sweaty clubs and dark holes in the walls. The pinnacle of their career, and it all could end if they didn't get this one gig right. It had been a few months ago that George had told me about a record dealer who had been interested in managing the band. His name was Brian Epstein, and from what George had told me, he was a very posh Jewish man with a big heart, and he believed that the band really could make it big if given the right instruction. There had been auditions the boys had gone to previously with Brian that had not gone so well; Decca was one example of that. But recently, Brian had gotten them in at Parlophone for an audition with a record producer named George Martin. I'd heard of Martin before, from the infamous Goons comedy show played on the radio, which the boys all loved. Brian

"Hey! Kid! Come back here!"
Garrett dashed down the cobblestone road, skidding around a corner and down an alleyway. He ducked into his hidey-hole and crouched down in the dust. Rapid footsteps pounded the road as Rolf, the restaurant owner, ran past. "That damned kid," Garrett heard.
As soon as he was sure the man was gone, Garrett began sifting through his "findings". One crudely wrapped sandwich. A flask of water. The boy sighed. "Not much today," he murmured to himself. "No matter. This'll suffice."
He spent a few minutes enjoying the day's rewards, taking care to preserve half of the sandwich and half of the water. Afterwards, he carefully peeked outside to see if Rolf was still around; he wasn't. The boy exhaled quietly and slipped nimbly out of the concealed nook. After surveying the area, he traipsed down the road, away from the restaurant. Various thoughts flashed through his mind. Only one made itself permanent. Is she okay?
Garrett shook his head violently, attempting

There isn't anything in the world that could possibly hurt more than a broken heart. It mangles your insides and crumbles your soul until there's nothing left for you to smile about. The pieces of your heart that are left over from the on slaught of emotion feel as if someones repeatidly pushing and pulling at them, cracking the tissues and causing them to bleed even further than they had been before. You hurt, you cry and then... you get better.
John Lennon was no exception to the rule of heartbreak. He might try to hide behind his sarcastic humour and wit, but on the inside... Poor John's heart was in turmoil.
No, it hadn't been a girl that managed to steal John's heart and then effectively crumple it. Nor did John have to break the h

A Wonderful Christmas Time:
It wasn't too long after I had Ingrid that the holiday season came around. I hadn't even really thought about Christmas, but it was beginning to stress me out a bit. I'd been so wrapped up with having the baby and getting the house prepared that I had completely forgotten to even buy gifts. I didn't have a clue what anyone would want. I'm not very good at picking out gifts, hence my delay of the act. It wasn't that I didn't want to give something to the people I loved, it was just I didn't want to be that person who gave everybody that lousy gift that they grinned about to your face and then chunked when they got home. Believe me; I'd done that more than once myself. Yet all I could think about was my baby, and how she was going to do with all this commotion going around. Paul had invited us all to a Christmas party at his and Sam's flat on Christmas Eve, so I only had less than a month to gather everyone's presents. It was a task I didn't take li

He was always jealous that Paul was “the cute Beatle” and didn’t like his “bird nose,” he was jealous of Paul’s smooth voice and ability to sing falsetto (which he tried to a few times, but it was hard because of his naturally raspy voice), he was jealous of Paul’s Yesterday and often got annoyed whenever people would mistake as his song, and he (in many ways) wished he could’ve been much like Paul, but had that reputation as a bad boy.

I think it started about two months ago when I would listen to my music and hear someone call my name. There would be NO one calling me in reality. And about a month ago, I started getting these strange feelings that someone was behind me or looking at me. I turn around and there is no one.
This one kinda scared me.
About a week ago I woke up facing the mirror in my room and saw a figure. The body was see through but there was a shadowy outline of someone. And by outline, I mean hair, head (no face but mouth) hands, clothes, stuff like that. I am and always will be positive that I was 150% awake.
I know this because when I wake up my body's version of half asleep is mind awake and body limp. When I looked at it, I turned immediately around and saw nothing. A minute later, I just realized how much it looked like the Rev.

What about a year?
I've Never really
Thought about it.
I moved far from the house
That I've known
For almost all my life.
Wandering the halls,
Slipping across the stone floors,
And then falling flat on my face.

From our backyard
From streets away.
The soft scent of the blossoms
In the summer.
Broken backs, lost cats.
Other little things.

With the ivory keys
The sound of the notes
Lulling me to sleep.
My sisters' long, elegant fingers
Dancing across the board.
If you took me there now,
I'd tell you where everything was.
My desk was there
With the pencils over here
And my paintings hanging from the walls
