I started making Link back in.. oh, January? Beginning of February? Truly ages ago. After finishing several costumes since this one, I decided to return to my original version Link, and finish him alas, and it was totally worth it! I had an awesome time with Kezia, although, since we also played around with some D800 video footage, I had a funny-not-so-funny fall off a log onto my back. Hey, guess it's all part of the fun. I'll be playing around making something will all the video stuff and posting it on tumblr a little later this month.
Seems like lately I'm far more into making adaptations than replicas, costume wise - so for Link, I decided to play on a couple different game versions.
Big thanks to Shel for lending me the wig, and *twinfools for letting me borrow his ears!

ah f*** it. I'm posting this on here. I'm going to Europe in 2 weeks!!!! Cosplaying with *FahrSindram and *CaptainImaginary and getting to hang out with other amazing people overseas.
I'll be bringing a few cosplays, and Tony will be one of them. Pretty darn stoked and half!!! I'll be posting vids and pics of my journey on both my tumblr, and new fb page! -> facebook.com/luxlaterna , so stay tuned!! Also because a bunch of people have been asking me, I'll also be doing a beard/ facial hair video tutorial while I'm over there
I had an AMAZING time in Sweden with *CaptainImaginary and ~Cecelin0. Stockholm is somewhere I just never thought I'd go, so the experience was definitely sweet. Charlie and I also were able to do a couple photoshoots including this one!! By the time I had got to London, the Official Doctor Who tumblr had actually featured our cosplays for Wholloween! Pretty surreal. Never thought I'd see the day, even if it was just a derp photo (--> luxlaterna.tumblr.com/post/648… )
Well hey all! I'm back from Europe!!! I had the pleasure of cosplaying with some epic people, but that's a long story of adventures. I brought Steve to Berlin to cosplay with *FahrSindram and here he is I'm still unhappy with the stars, but this is actually my last time I will wear Steve. It's been a pleasure cosplaying him, but it's time to move on to conquer other challenges. However, Captain America will continue to remain my hero. As always.
So no, this isn't me. But it is my costume! For those of you who have been following the progress of my Winter Soldier cosplay, here is the finished result of many months of hard work.
Although I am still contemplating cosplaying in this costume, it has been altered to fit Ray, the wonderful actor pictured here, for a trailer we filmed for a "Death of Captain America" movie (for those of you who have read that comic series. If you have not, PLEASE DO).
For more information on "Becoming A Hero", including more bts photos, stills, and more, please visit: becomingahero-official.tumblr.…. The actual video will be released May 14, 2014. So please stay tuned!!

YAY! First photo up from Emerald City Comic Con on the weekend! Best weekend in forever. Wearing Sherlock was super fun because people actually came up to us and stuff. Unlike on Sunday where they just stared from a far, or gave me a badass gangster nod as Daryl... I digress. Besides, I'll post a journal on it all in due time. (yea, I can be a lazy ass sometimes).
So I bought that Sherlock hat ages ago to walk around with because I think it's hilarious. Before closing down for the day, Gab and I snatched some cool photos in an alley by where I parked. Ta da!
Sherlock Holmes photo credits: ~theMightyHeart, who is 1. awesome. 2. was my epic Watson on the weekend
This project took me more than one year while I was developing it. Also, was my first headgear & sword made by myself ever. I took me 5 years to loose the fear to make armored props and this kind of stuffs, more than sew complicated pattern as I am used to.
It was love at first sight when I saw it; and I perhaps with the suit done, finally can produce a set of costumes for one of my favorite characters; Link. I have a deep and precious love to The Legend Of Zelda — Twilight Princess.
Even with some problems I could finish it, and thanks to this suit have qualified as monarch in the regional final of the Lara state (Venezuela), returning to again represent the Kiken Sei Fest. Can't explain how honored I feel to have the possibility of defending my title. The costume is made entirely by me, as well as all the accessories.
I want to thank for giving me all the support and advice in the universe.
Jorge Bringas: For helping me in hard times, and lending me his voice for my video & presentation with an excellent dub.
: For giving me a hand with a photo shoot so hasty to present my work
Not really an ad no, but i'm super in love with the Hawkeye shirt collection from welovefine and thought it would be fun to do kind of a gap/american apparel type photoshoot as the characters in their shirts! Kate and more Clint to come. Tumblr photoset here -> luxlaterna.tumblr.com/post/791…
