DesperationI wonder how many days you've spent feeling lost.
Thinking that you're going somewhere.
Never actually getting anywhere.
You look at the same four walls over and over again.
You can paint them in different colours,
But you know they're still the same.
And you convince yourself that you're making progress,
Nothing's changed, but you're making progress.
Things are getting worse, but you're making progress.
And then you wake up and realise,
That shit has hit the fan...
Suddenly you're forced to do the things you couldn't,
The kind of things that you were never comfortable with.
And you find out you can do them.
You find out that the only reason you couldn't,
Was because you were afraid to try.
It's hard - trying to take that first step.
It's hard - trying to convince yourself to take that chance.

Bumblebee sat in silence by the bedside, on the cold linoleum floor, looking to his hands, clasped on his lap. He prayed to Primus. He prayed that his friend wouldn't suffer when... when the time came.
'Bee?' An aged, tired voice called him. 'You there?'
'I'm here!' Bumblebee jumped to his feet and clasped his friend's hand when the other reached out, looking for him. 'How're you feeling?'
'Tired.' Spike replied, opening his eyes. 'How long have I been out?'
'Its almost... eleven in the day.' Bumblebee checked his internal chronometers and converted the time for Spike to understand. 'Do you want anything-'
'Where's Carly?' Spike asked.
'She's gone out.' Bumblebee replied, 'she should be back soon.'
It hurt to Bumblebee's very spark to lie to his friend, but he didn't want to hurt him with the truth. Carly had passed on five years ago. The entire Autobot team had been present at her funeral, just as they

She was ill, she was scared, and he was all she had in the world.
"Why don't you just kill me already?" Her voice trembled, but not with pain or with anger, but a forced bravado that made Alan think of Eric on those rare occasions where the man seemed scared of something, where he seemed to stare at shadows with distrust and keep his scythe close enough to slash at anything that so much as hinted of movement. It was odd to see him so frightened Eric never did like showing fear but when he did, he always spoke as though he was braver than he felt.
It always made Alan feel better. That's why he did it.
"I can't," he apologized, on behalf of everything that had brought

His bright yellow optics blinked for a moment, glancing around the area, making sure there was no other bots nearby. He then began to slowly walk into the cave, his heightened Predacon senses easily able to let him see in the darkness of the tunnel, following the long trail to the ruined lab of Shockwave's.Transformers Prime Beast Hunters: Rescued1 year ago in General Fiction More Like This
He took in a quiet breath of the dust-filled air, and coughed a bit, shaking his head to get rid of the excess particles he took in. He folded his wings against his back as he continued to walk in further, not even hearing a single sound coming from within.
Though, once he reached the lab, he felt his spark instantly fill with pain. "My brothers....my sisters...." he whispered aloud, optics widening as he glanced around. Debris were everywhere, and it was hard to even make out anything. However, a small noise caught his attention. Quickly, he darted over to a pile of debris

Malik was not fond of birthdays. He had never been. His environment found this a strange feature of the young boy. After all, to most people, birthdays were a day of celebration, happiness, a day that they were the center of attention and would receive gifts and best wishes.
The young Malik Al-Sayf, however, did not possess such a sentiment. He did not like it, did not even care for it at all. Being a bashful, somewhat awkward boy, he did not enjoy the special attention he got on birthdays. In fact, it only served to make him ill at ease.
The boy was a loner, always acting much older than he was. He quite liked to spend his time by himself, preferably with exploring his hometown of Masyaf with Altaïr, his only peer that he spoke more than two words to, or reading.
The commotion that birthdays caused kept him away from doing these things, which was for him just another reason not to like them. He was very attached to his peace and quiet indeed.
Also, Malik could not
Dalir LilylightI've died a lot. I don't remember exactly how or why most of the time, since all the incidents have started to blur together. I think one time I was tortured and slaughtered by the trolls. But that's beside the point. The real point, I think, is that I've come back from it, every time. It used to be rather quickI'd only miss a few days or weeks. Then I started going "missing" for months, then years. Most recently it was more than a hundred thousand years; admittedly, I think the fact that I'd been shunned right before I died made my returning so horribly long.Dalir Lilylight2 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
Honestly, I don't remember the void, or whatever it is that exists between deaths. I just remember the pain of dying, then waking up. To me, it was as though no time had passed, and so I'd wander around being an arrogant fuckwitactually, just being myselfuntil I figured out when and where I was. But now
Tainted Innocence "A…world where Pokémon are liberated? Are you certain…?"Tainted Innocence2 years ago in Horror More Like This
The white creature nodded once, expression never changing since the first time he saw it. Yes. A world where humans and Pokémon are separated like black and white. A world where no human owns a Pokémon. A world where Pokémon roam free to their liking. Its tail swayed left and right, blank red eyes staring into the hopeful pair of greens.
The perfect world. And all will come true in just a blink of an eye. It saw the hope in the boy's gaze. It saw the dreams the boy once dreamt. The playroom was empty as usual, with them being the two beings present. N stood in silence, mouth slightly parted to hear such an opportunity.
And all you have to do, It slowly tilted its head as its gaze drilled into innocence's eyes, is make a contract with me!
The world was perfect.
N stood in complete pride. The Pokémon were seen frolicking and running about in the woods. Pidoves were chirping. Nidorans were

The peace they held now would end soon since it was painfully obvious that Holy Rome would be headed off to war sooner than not. He would have to cherish every moment he had left with the young girl he loved so much.
He fell to his back, the black cape he always wore spread out into the green grass and his hat fell off, revealing his light-blond hair. "Italy, I'm really ing going to miss you when I leave..."
She shifted slightly in her spot, grabbing onto Holy Rome's clothing and snuggling closer to his thigh. His face brightened as he suddenly began to realize how close his crush was to him.
Turning to his side, he lifted the young girl upwards and into his arms, snuggling closely with her

You and Toris had now moved in with America. He had taken the two of you away from Russia for a little while. You worked in his home as humble servants but he treated you more like friends, or roommates. The two of you would try to clean, but everything was spotless. Strange considering he was a bachelor nation and everyone deemed him so irresponsible. He was mature when he was at home, calm, but often could get worked up into enthusiasm, but it was Toris who had caught your eye. You and the Lithuanian had never met before but now that you lived with him, you slowly fell for his charm. America knew this. He teased you over it so much that you thought you would scream, but he didn't tell Toris on you.
"You don't trust my cooking?" Toris questioned.
Alfred's eyes widened when he saw the hurt expression on the Lithuan

Paper Cranes (1)I'd lost track of all the days and nights that I'd spent here. I knew it was something over fifty at least. It was cold and the stone floor was hard but where else could I sleep? I had lost all sense of time down here and my night began whenever I felt sleepy, which was often. What was I supposed to do instead, anyway? A prison-like basement was hardly a suitable room for a human, yet here I was, locked away like some kind of animal. Pokémon briefly flickered through my mind.Paper Cranes (1)2 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
Down here in the basement, I had been removed from the world, just hidden away in a little room. So far, I didn't think anyone had any idea about what happened to me and I couldn't care less at that point. The only thing that kept my heart going was hope and the dreams, or rather, nightmares, I had. They were wild and endlessly fascinating. Some featured a green-haired man who was tall and towered over me, while others hold a brunette female, her face blurred.
Lying on my back, I faced the ceiling and exhaled deep

Persuading Ivan to let her keep him with her was difficult, but he finally agreed. What good was a deranged and dissolved Prussian to him, anyway?
Perhaps if Ivan knew about them he would have refused just to spite her, which he seemed fond of as of l

Peter was starting to doubt yet he still held some belief in his heart of all of the faery tales he had heard as a child were still true. If he had been a moment later, then none of the Guardians would exist. Matthew leaned down to listen to

In fact, the only reason why he was with the American at this bloody grease covered burger joint was because, quite frankly, he needed a distraction. He'd caught Francis telling Peter about the 'birds and the bees', and after hearing a little bit of what goes on inside the Frenchman's mind...........Well, anyone would want to forget that.
"Yo, British dude!" Alfred said loudly, spraying bits of hamburger on the Brit. "You ok?" The Brit looked at Alfred, surprise visible in his bright green eyes. He always thought the American was a bit on the dense side, but maybe he was more perceptive than Arther thought. "You haven't touched your burger yet, dude! Something must be

Gilbert typed into the chat box, hopeful that he would get a message back soon.
Matthew was pretty much doing the same thing as Gilbert, in the fact that they were both bored and on their laptops that is. He glanced down and opened the orange blinking Skype logo on his screen. Matthew started typing shyly and cheerfully, though he would never admit that he was.
