"noOooOo!" The dual voices screeched but Maya paid them no mind, she continued to slash, backing Paul to a wall.
"No, please," Paul whimpered against Maya's external onslaught and Lysanna's internal takeover.
Feebly he held out his arms, as if to block Maya's blows, but she found her mark regardless. After slicing off the last alien limb she kicked Paul in the stomach and he doubled over instantly.
