Anniversary“Daddy!” A little voice screeched as tiny footsteps ran down the hall towards Dick. Dick looked up from where he was placing all of his “toys” for when he became Nightwing. When he looked up he saw his daughter, Catherine, running towards him. Her curly brown hair waving behind her as she ran. “Daddy!” She shouted, extending her arms to Dick.
Dick smiled and bent down, holding out his arms so Catherine could jump into them. He caught her and picked her up, spinning her around high above his head. He brought her back down to eye level and kissed her cheek, “What’s up baby girl?”
“I saw grandpa on T.V.!”
“Did you?” Dick faked a smile. He wasn’t surprised that she had seen Bruce on T.V. He was either making an appearance as Bruce Wayne, Gotham’s playboy, or they were reporting a Batman sighting.
“Yea! And Uncle Dami was with him! They stopped bad gu

"Hmmm?" the older boy hummed, lazily running his fingers through the shaggy black hair fanned out on his chest.
"Do you love me?" Wally snapped his head up, staring down into the innocent blue eyes of his boyfriend.
"'Course I do, Dick. You know that." Dick smiled softly and snuggled further into Wally's chest, apparently ending the conversation there. Wally wasn't having it. "What's wrong babe?"
"Nuthin's wrong," Dick murmured. Wally brushed aside a strand of Dick's hair and tilted his face up to look in his eyes.
"I thought we didn't lie to each other." Dick cast his eyes aside and a faint blush spread across his cheeks.
"I won't laugh, scout's honor." Wally held up three fingers in the scout salute, and Dick couldn't help but smile through his embarrassment. He sighed and laid his head back on Wally's chest.
"Well, I just sometimes feel like maybe...maybe we shouldn't hide anymore. You love me, and I love you,

“Hey,” I twist myself in his arms so I can see him. He smiles at me as I look into his sleepy emerald eyes. I kiss him gently, “I’m glad we did this.”
“Me too,” Wally kisses me back. “Do you want breakfast before daddy bats picks you up?”
“Sure, I was thinking, “I gently trace my fingers over his pectorals and bite my bottom lip seductively.

The Dark Knight was many things: imposing, large, scary, intimidating, pushy, bossy, sarcastic, mean, quiet and broody. But he was never late.
"Walk faster, Dick. I can't miss this meeting." Bruce hissed under his breath, just quiet enough so that that the reporters couldn't hear. The last thing he needed was for the press to think that Bruce Wayne threatened his ward.
"Hmph, why do we even have to be here?" Dick huffed, snatching his hand free of Bruce's grip and crossing his arms tightly across his chest, a small pout working its way over his eleven-year-old face.
"I told you, there was a break in at one of the Wayne Tech centers in Star City. I have

Light from flickering flames illuminated the faces of the young team who sat around a warm fire. The soft orange glow complimented the blue light of the moon that watched over them from the inky sky above. The sand from which they sat upon was still warm from the afternoon sun while the ocean breeze that drifted off the waves cooled the night air.
The sound of the ocean waves made themselves at home on the shore and it gave a calming backdrop of noise. Laughter and smiles were exchanged among the group as they bonded. This night was a special night, a rare summer night where no fighting or battling had to be done. Things were quiet in the criminal world, for at least tonight anyway and the team spent their extra time just being with one another.
Except for one member.
Robin rarely spent the night at the mountain on days like this, especially in the summer when school was out. Being the dynamic duo of Gotham and all with Batman, he

Batman was snarling at the team, but most specifically, at Robin. The mission had been long and hard, with three days and two nights invested in what ultimately turned out to be a failure. The goal was surprisingly simple: get in, get the sample, get out. Unfortunately, it hadn't gone so smoothly. An alarm had been tripped at the warehouse they had been investigating, somehow slipping by Robin's electronic precautions. Armed gunmen had immediately arrived, shooting and blowing things up until there wasn't much left.
The team, bloody and bruised and battered, had managed to escape with their lives, but hadn't managed to get a sample of the chemical they were supposed to be investigating. Their mentors, frantic and worried, had beamed the team up to the Watchtower, where they recieved immediate medical care.
Batman was furious, but worst of all, he blamed Robin.

“Nope, should we abandon our post and try to find them?”
“It sounds like that’s what Aqualad wanted us to do.”
“Yea, I mean we already took out the guards here.”
“You go see if you can find them. I’ll make sure that the target doesn’t come this way.”
“Deal,” KF ran off but was back seconds later with a surprised and amused look on his face. “The targets gone and the team’s fine.”
Robin punched the nearest tree. “How did he get away?”
Kid scooped Robin up into his arms and sped off into the direction he came from, “I have an
Finally MineToday was the day. I could care less about seeing the league's official headquarters if it meant I could see Wally. At first I thought he was weird when he was cracking jokes on a mission a year ago. As we spent more time together I realized I liked him. I couldn't stop thinking about him. I couldn't get his corny jokes, his sweet permanent smile, his everything out of my head. I thought it was a phase, that it was my hormones that was giving me gay thoughts about him. Everyday over a year I thought about him, this isn't a phase, this is love. He was flawless, but he probably would think it was weird if he knew how much I was in love with him. Finally Mine2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This

Date Night Chapter 1I wave Alfred goodbye as I head off to Wally's house. He invited me over for a date since his parents were out of town. We had lots of dates before but I hadn't been this nervous since our first date. I guess it was because we'd be alone in his house. I’d been to his house lots of times before, but we’ve never been…alone. I looked down at myself before knocking on the door. I checked to make sure the clothes were straight. I wore black jeans, a red shirt, red Converse and a black blazer with the sleeves rolled up to my elbows. I take in a deep breath and knock on Wally's door. A millisecond later my speedster is standing in front of me. He smiles as he looks down at me. He is wearing blue jeans, a white shirt, and a striped collared shirt that he left open and rolled the sleeves up to his elbows. "You look beyond sexy tonight," He smirks and gives me a quick kiss before inviting me in.
"Well I wanted to look good for you."

"Uh, Rob?" Wally ventured quietly. "You feel okay?"
The normally bouncy vigilante was drooping, dragging his feet in a defeated sort of shuffle that Wally had never seen before. He was dressed in overly baggy sweatpants and a bulky sweater, and his hair was in disarray. His nose was running and red, and although Wally couldn't see his eyes behind the sunglasses, he was willing to bet that they were pink and watery.
"Oh, poor baby!" M'gann exclaimed, dropping her tray of unfinished cookies on the table (Wally silently wept) and rushing over to the smallest member of their team. "Aw, you must be feeling so sick!" she cooed, wrapping her arms around Robin's shoulder.
"It's just a cold, Mith M," Robin said tiredly, his voice congested and comically slurred. "I dew I shoulda stayed homb," he muttered quietly to himself, frowning slightly.

I was looking at the lastest report for Wayne Enterprises when I walked by Dick's room. What I'm seeing before me now does not surprise me, but I will not stand for it. Wally is on top of Dick on the bed with no shirt on, pants looking way too loose, kissing him like there's no tomorrow. I told them they could date as long as they followed my rules. Right now, they're breaking about 7. Not the best way to get on the father's good side.

Robins face, just grinning from kicking Wallys ass in gaming for the tenth time this evening turned serious in an instant.
"No he has adopted me after...after my parents got killed.", he said with a hoarse voice.
"Oh shit. Way to start the small talk Wally.", Wally thought.
"Dude I'm sorry. I didn't know."
"It's okay.", Robin said and wrapped his arms around his drawn up knees," you couldn't know. Just be glad to have parents who love you."
"Yeah would be nice to have such parents.", Wally said bitterly, which brought Robin to look up at him in surprise.
"You're an orphan too? But in Batmans data..."

Robin wouldn't stop coughing, no matter how hard the young boy tried to hide or stifle it. Kid Flash looked over to find Robin's face in his hand, coughing almost violently.
"Are you okay?" Kid Flash asked, quietly. He moved over to Robin's location and knelt beside him.
"I-*cough*-I'm fine" Robin replied, taking a cough lozenge from one of his many pockets on his utility belt. Kid watched Robin slipped it into his mouth with a quick flick of his tongue.

Subconsciously, he turned his head back to the clock; 9 and 45 seconds to go.
Wally placed his head on the table and hoped that the next time he lifted his head it would only be a few seconds for the bell to ring. The reason why he wanted to go home so badly was that Dick had agreed to hang out after school for the first time since the team was formed. Little DevilDick Grayson was probably going to get killed for this later but at that moment he didn't really care. Bruce had given him and his boyfriend Wally some more freedom but that probably didn't include sleeping in the same bed, him with only a too-big shirt and his partner wearing only pants. The Boy Wonder had been allowed to have a sleepover at Wally's place with Barry supervising and being the boys they were, a food fight broke out a mere two hours after he'd gotten there. This wouldn't have been a problem if Dick's spare clothes hadn't been caught in the crossfire. They were currently in the washer and Barry had been the one to suggest borrowing some of Wally's clothes. When it was time for bed (translation: Wally got sleepy), Dick had merely slipped off the too-big shorts and settled for the giant black T-shirt that read "Little Devil" in bright yellow letters as his nightwear. I look up at Wally as we walk out of the library and towards Bruce’s study. His eyes were sunken in and his face was pale; he looked… empty. It’s amazing that he could have been in such a good mood this morning and now he was in this pit of depression. The words Wally and depressed just didn’t even seem to go together.
I stop our walk towards the study and take both of his hands in mine.
