Mick & Matt Glebe have created a tribute poster with the excitement of a new upcoming Star Wars trilogy on the horizon! This piece surrounds a new era of the saga that will hopefully involve all of the original cast members we grew up loving. We will have a limited number of this fan art available at conventions we will be attending this summer! May the force be with you, always.

Female Mandalorian idea, from the Star Wars Universe. Inspired by a conversation about uses for a pair of white leather knee-high boots I own. This pic is dedicated to the Madalorian Mercs, particularly the Krayt clan.

For those who aren't familiar, Mandalorians are a race in Star Wars, of proud, honor-driven, and feircesome warriors. Jango Fett and his son Boba Fett are the two most well-known Mandolorians.

Commissioned piece. I've done the Millennium Falcon and an X-Wing before, but this was my first shot at Star Wars characters. Vader was a real challenge...especially keeping my son's hands off of him... Pretty happy with the way it turned out.

Laurence Caird as a steam-punk-esque Victorian Magic Man
Photo kindly from Tony Cook.
WON 1st place for www.acpfestival.co.uk/
Theme was 'Magic'.

Researching this I found that the 'golden age of creativity' for magic was in the early victorian period when it began appearing in theatres and many tricks we know today were invented. They made incredibly sophisticated automatons, 1 could even draw any of 200 celebrities portraits. Thats his front.
Back -when magic moved from travelling countryside shows/ mysticism using stars, moons and nature to stage shows.

6 hours paint, just me no assistant. Some stencils (bought and homemade) used, rest freehand brush & sponge.

Mehron powder & mixer base, mainly Cameleon Bodypaint paints on top. Glitzer and glitter from Paul Facade www.facadebodyart.co.uk/cubeca...

Hat made (badly but I'll improve) with techniques taught at Alex Hansen's workshop.
July 2013 - HOT day even the models were steaming
