My new cosplay is Reshiia from Scissors Crown by Thores Shibamoto. I love her artworks very much and make new costumes with a great pleasure. Reshiia has four amazing costumes and at first I wanted to make her yellow dress, but realized that many other cosplayers would like to make it too. So, I started making her red dress (you can see it at the end of the novel). All details of the costume and the hat are made by me. Wig styling by *Jannet*. Shoes(probably on the other photo ^^") are made by Yako. Photo by Shaadorian
Cha-No-Yu 2013 Cartoon Show First place! It is first time I ever got a prise, so I'm happy
My Amidala costume, "5 years" in the making. Purchased this dress as it is 5 years ago on ebay, knowing I'd probably never get the chance again to find it because it was the supreme Rubies that was only made for about 20 seconds (and I loathe sewing so I knew I'd never make it). Before baulking at the maker, understand that there is very little wrong with the dress from a technicality standpoint, and what can be fixed is in the process of getting fixed. I don't know why they stopped making this when their other supreme costumes are so....yick.
With the patterning and assembling help of my boyfriend, especially needed in the absence of a real headcast, we put the headdress together in 3 days. It was really insanely stupid but worth it to troop the Episode 1 3D opening event with my Rebel Legion base and give lots of little girls high fives and in the end, smiles.
The orbs light up, but I plan on upgrading to better ones and didn't want to spend all the money on the expensive watch batteries it would take to light them.
Photography by Benn Robbins, headdress help by Toby Markham, photo assistance by Martha Bartlett.
I will be wearing the costume again at the Elf Fantasy Fair April 21th and 22th (Netherlands).
Currently I'm working on my graduation film Gliese 581! It will be a Science Fiction film and we could use some help te realize the movie. So please check out the links below to find out how you can help:
Taken backstage during Eurocosplay 2013 in London.
While I've done this costume in 2010, Eurocosplay gaved me the opportunity to have a fresh new look on it and also gave me a good reason to finaly make the leg.
Automail arm and leg are made from EVA foam covered with liquid plastic (Smooth Cast 300 from Smooth-On). The foot is made from EVA foam covered with prepainted latex. Everything is sanded, primed and then painted with acrylics.

More from the shoot on the period ship. I love that boat. One of the few shots that shows off the entire costume. All the red flowers at the bottom of the skirt are hand painted on top of the embroidery.
