So, this year is a year of old costumes photoshoots (still have million to be shooted) and finally I have some nice pictures of Princess Anastasia in opera dress, it's my favourite one in the movie ^^ I really love shiny fabric. And I also remade the veil. Now I used non glitter soft dark-blue tulle and covered it with Krylon Glitter Spray. You'll see it better on the next pictures. And it's my first real smiling picture, yay! x) Actually I have problems with smiling pictures, it must be of a very right angle to look good )

Thanks a lot to Predator, Hideki and Saoko for the help during the shooting!
It's a winter outdoor shot. Who said there's lot of snow in Russia >< Well yeah, this year we lack of snow
I bought this beautiful glittering fabric long ago and I also had the wig (though for another character), that fits Anastasia well. So I finally made her opera dress for the promotional event, held in the fabric center of our city.
You can also watch the promotional video that we made HERE [link]
I've made it in 4 days so there's some details I need to improve. But in general costume is ready I know her dress was not glittering in the movie, but I felt in love with this fabric, when first saw it and I think it looks good in result. Though I'm not satisfied with the veil part, I hope to remade it.
This dress has a long story. It was first made in 2008...
...and then remade in 2012. I added second skirt and completely remade the corset part. Also added raffs on my hands.
And this year I finished some small details and brought it to Denmark, Copenhagen to have a chance of shooting it there. Thanks a lot to Morten and Julia for the invitation to J-Popcon and their company!
Love this shot so much! thanks to Kifir, our amazing photographer! ^___^
Few words about the costume
These lolita outfits, they look so easy to make, but actually if you doing it with all the accuracy they can drive you crazy especially those small details like armlets and collars x) Anyway I'm happy I did it, I love Rei almost in any outfit and want to cosplay as her again and again. If you're interested what materials I used, they were stretchy cotton for the top and also cotton with pattern for the ruffles, and matte satin for the skirt. Also I made a petticoat of netting to make the skirt puffy. I decided to make the top as a corsage so it has some plastic bones in it that make it stay on me without the straps. And the stockings are the cut off black tights with the elastic bands to keep them on the thighs x)
