So this is both a self portrait and a demonstration of another art I enjoy- costume design and creation! I made this for the Princess show/birthday parties I now direct. ([link])

I did not make the full dress, but rather took an awkward and ugly orange strapless, long-trained, bizzare wonder, added a few details and made Belle's ball gown from Disney's Beauty and the Beast!

I also converted the dress into a lace-up so that girls of many sizes can wear it.

(Please excuse the weird background... I'm perched on my parents tub in front of the only mirror in the house large enough to show the whole dress)

series - Disney's original 1953 feature film Peter Pan

Peter Pan Disney

I worked with about six or seven layers on this photo, in photoshop to change the time of day. I hope it looks okay. I thought it looked more magical with a night setting and Tink flying over to Peter.

The costume is entirely hand-sewn and some of the edges are not hemmed so it has more of a natural look. (I don't think twelve-year-old Peter would take much care of his clothing.) The shoes are custom made.
I do offer commissions for the shoes and Peter's hat.

This was the result as I was drawing Jessica Rabbit and Sally at the same time and so I blended the two. Looks kinda funny. :XD:

Alright, so I was getting some questions about the construction of this mask... and I know this is really lame and not very well explained, but I've been really busy and this was the best I could do at the moment... Hopefully you can use it and it's helpful.

And again, if you DO use it.. then I'd love to see how your costume turns out! Link me to the pictures or something!

(Also.. just because I didn't make it clear in the picture.. the spray adhesive went in between the fabric and the foam.. )

Soooo I couldn't decide which picture I liked better, so I decided to just upload both of them. I'll probably end up moving one to scraps in a bit, but we'll see.

ALSO~
If you're interested in seeing more pictures, you can find them on my cosplay.com account here: [link]
You can see the detail much better in certain things, like the hat and choker and a bunch of different things.
So check it out. :>
