This is a con-photo, so I tried to keep the focus on us ladies by editing. Hope it doesn't come off as too strong? The aforementioned con was Genki, which is the only summer based convention we have in Denmark - and of course therefore was the natural choice for the darling muses.
We performed on stage as well. The act can be found on youtube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=DkWEmf… Some of us had been talking about Hercules and the muses for a very long time, so it was really a dream come true to finally create these women. I will cherish the memories of styling the crazy wigs and getting brown body paint all over the place for a good long while, haha!

Haha, pretty much all our Muses photos has been manipulated to death ! But I guess that's what happens when you only get to take con photos with loads of random people in them. I really like how this one turned out though! (even though I'm sobbing because I'm truly bad at cutting out the background)
We had a group shot taken of some of the "good guys" Disneys at this years J-popcon. We've talked about submitting this to dA FOREVER now, so I'm doing it! You can't really help but notice the explicit large amount of blue represented here...
Characters from left to right: as Merlin, as Snow White, as Alice, as Belle, as Kida, as Forest Aurora, as Prince Philip and myself as Castle Aurora. All belong to Disney. Photographer:
When I debuted this costume in the spring Rasmus was supposed to join me, but just didn't finish Bomb Voyage in time. So when he reached that fantastic final touch on his villain, I made a elongated arm to shake things up a little. That was such a fun project and very different from what I'm used to do! I put in wires to make it bendable and posable Jack captured this action-shot that we both really love.
So have you guys seen the new Pixar short yet? Toy Story of Terror! I was thrilled when I found out it would be Jessie-centered - finally some focus on my favourite cow girl! I think it was very smartly written and I enjoyed it very much - so you're getting another shot of my cosplay of her + a cameo Luxo ball!
It remains one of my favourite cosplays and I've worn it so many times. I'm not even sad that I lost the hat in Disneyland after taking some pictures. Now it's retired and I think it might be for the best? haha. At least for the time being.

A week ago my Hercules group participated in Genki's cosplay competition here in Denmark. Our group's name was "The source of inspiration" and we were group no. 6. We ended up actually winning two prices for our efforts: The Crowd Favourite award and the Best Scenography award!! It's always incredible when people appreciate what you have created. We so loved being on stage - even though the stage jitters caused some cock-ups as always haha.
This is one of the funnier cosplay experiences I've had, since Julian was far from a cosplayer when I persuaded him to be my Aladdin. The Sunday we wore these was his very first time at a convention, but he's attended then afterwards and was quite bitten by the concept. It is very fun to have dragged someone into all of this! I sew both costumes and it's very odd making a whole outfit that is not to be worn by yourself. But I actually really like the look of these - if I were to wear Jasmine again I would re-do the top though.
