"Where do baby demons come from?"
Ghirahim stared at the boy, shocked. "Where did that question come from?"
"Well, I saw some really young demons in the castle today and I guess I just got curious since I've never seen any female demons here."
"Well you see, Link, demons are created by magical means."
Link glared. "Really? You're going to try to use the magic excuse on me?"
"Well it's the truth! When two demons want to create a child for themselves they both drink a special potion before, y'know…"
"Yeah I think I know what you mean. What then?"
"Then a few days later, if Master approves, a child created from their essence will appear in their home…or room if they live in the castle."
"Oh. That's…really different than how humans do it."
Ghirahim's eyebrow raised as Link's face furrowed in disappointment. "All right, I think I've played along long enough. What's the real reason you asked me this, Link?"
"I just…I've always wanted a child of my own."

Link shrank back into the corner, eyes darting around the room in an attempt to locate either of his masters. All he saw however were numerous demons watching him with smiles that caused his heart to pound nervously. Why would Ghirahim make him attend this gathering? He knew it was important to Demise but all of these demons were kind of scaring him.
A hand on his shoulder made him jump. He slowly looked up to see a large purplish demon grinning down at him.
"A little jumpy are we, human? I happen to like that in my boys."
Link's eyes widened and he tried to move away but found his way blocked by a small crowd of other demons all looking at him like he was one of the many refreshments in the room. He backed up until his body met the wall and looked around frantically for Ghirahim or Demise as the smiling demons closed in on him.
"Master, may I speak with you?"
Demise glanced down at his sword and quickly excused himself from his conversation as he saw

LoZ: Half the Sky... Part 1
A tall young gentleman in a rather nice dark business suit and designer shades, walked through the double doors of the establishment. It was like most places of it's kind, dark and gloomy, with only the small windows, one on each door which were some what shaded, to naturally light up the joint. The bright, but brief light from the outside world upon his entry, however, seemed to make the patrons and employees run and scurry or at the very least shade their eyes with their hands like cockroaches or vampires... The rest of the large oblong windows were covered with sheets to hide the sun and preying eyes, with the remaining dim light coming from antique looking lamps that had little frills hanging off of the different coloured coverings that were on various end tables and also from the lighted crystal chandeliers above, as well as ceiling fans that tried to keep it cool in the enclosed space.
The smoke was thick, thick enough to

Some time far past midnight, you woke from your sound sleep. With the reason you had woken up a mystery, you snuggled back into bed and tried once more to rest. A cool breeze from the open window swept through the room, bringing with it all the smells of the night. Just as you began to drift, you heard a noise. “Who's there?” There was no moon tonight, making your room pitch black. Afraid that the intruder wasn't just an animal, you began throwing everything on your bed in the direction of the noise.
“Ouch. Hey be careful, it's only me. Stop throwing stuff.” A bright blue light appeared from nowhere, showing the face of your guest. “Thanks Navi, wait until after I get hit with a book to come out of my hat. I could have used the light a little earlier.”
“Link? What are you doing here? It's late, you should be asleep.” Without the moon, it was almost impossible to tell the time of night.

PART I: ANCESTRAL SHADOWS
----Chapter 1: The Hylian of Ordon
The following dawn peeked through the tiny window at the top of Link's house. Brightly, it highlighted his figure and danced across him until he could neglect it no longer. He stretched, opening his eyes reluctantly. He rested his hands beneath his head as he stared up at the close ceiling and glanced at his window. He did not wish to banish the light now, for its rays sparkled as they stretched throughout his hollowed home. He lifted a finger and watched as the beam played with it, threading it within its glory. A smile spread across his face, and he pulled his hand down out of the heat. His eyes began to close again....
"Link! Hey, you awake?"
Link tumbled out of bed. With a hard thump, he was instantly awake, his head bouncing up with tousled bedcovers overtop him. Blinking away the rest of his sleep, he rose and tossed the disheveled sheets on his bed. He found his day clothes and stepped toward the window of hi

"Merry Christmas, you guys!"
Today was none other than the twenty-fifth of December. As fun activities and high spirits were alive all around, you decided to visit your friends in Ordon Village so you could spend Christmas day with them. You never lived in Hyrule, but somehow months ago you found a way to magically transport yourself to another world.
Just because you weren’t from this area didn’t mean people treated you differently. In fact, everyone was really nice and made you feel like you lived in Hyrule all your life. From the rambunctious and energetic boy named Talo, to the prestigious and elegant girl known as Beth, you maintained a great friendship with all of the children in the village. Now that Christmas rolled around, everyone seemed to come together and celebrate with you. You were currently in front of Sera’s Sundries doing just that with all of the kids except Link. Oddly enough, you haven’t seen the hero around all day.

Link frowned, turning back towards you with a disappointed look on his face. You could barely see it though, due to him having accidentally dropped his lantern, leaving both of you in the dark. Mostly anyway, since you were close enough to the entrance of the cave that some sunlight barely made it's way inside.
"Uh... yes? No. I meant no." Link quickly corrected himself, gaze shifting from one spot of the dark cavern to another. "Of course not. Heh..." He chuckled awkwardly, picking up the lantern and brushing off the dirt that had settled on it.
Yep, Link had definitely had something up his sleeve, and you were already suspecting what his little plan was. However you'd keep quiet for now and let him do the explaining. It was adorable how hard he found it to express himself, especially in a situation like this, and you were going to make the most of it.
"Uh huh." You nodded, crossing your arms over your chest and shifting your weight to one side

In that very village lived a small family just nearby the gates of the village. In that family belonged the loving mother and her six years old son, Link.
Link was happy with his mother who had always took care and loved his son deeply. Link loved her like any child loves his or her family. He had even never really missed his father who had died when Link was very young. Link barely remembered him.
Even they both loved each other very much, there were some bad days when they argued and fought. It was normal. I wonder if there is a family that hasn't ever fought about anything. Every little child argues sometimes.
Link doesn't remember, what was the fight back then all about, but he clearly remembers his own words: "I hate you!" he had yelled to his mother. "Wish you were dead!" Link's mother just shook her head and si

Happy that I have the last Fused Shadow? Could be,
Stuck in the Zora armour, metal swimming shorts,
Deep down in the lake, the temple, it supports.
Her hand holds out, her long orange hair,
Her strong, red eyed stare,
No more than a shadow, afraid of bright light,
My company, my friend and my plight.
‘Want to go outside? Are you all done here?’
Her voice asking, not demanding to my ear,
Stepping forward, disappearing into a portal,
Bringing me out, close to the immortal.
On the edge of a rock, with a swift turn and sway,
A gasp holds in my throat and the last of daylight shreds away,
A man in a mask, my hidden foe,
Strikes me down in one vile blow.
Much as I thought I was protected with the Light Snake,
The strike took us both and my friend to take,
Restoring the Twilight and me to my other form,
She comes out, with the emotion of a winter storm.
Zant! She shouts, lifted from the floor,
Struggling, she screams, he, taking the Fuse

A choked gasp left the boy's throat, causing his lips to slide off of Ghirahim's; the unintended break in the kiss was almost as painful as the fatal wound in his body, and Link wished in vain that his lips were enveloped by his love's once more.
All strength left him, and his knees buckled without any warning. Ghirahim clutched Link with all his might, sliding to the ground with the wounded hero. A cry of sorrow left the demon lord's mouth, and as he pressed Link's face against his chest in a comforting manner, all he was able to utter between sobs was, "no no no ."
The sky child's breaths came out in forced huffs; it was getting harder to breathe. He squeezed his eyes shut, trying to adapt to the pain that soared through his body, wave after wave. Ghirahim's hand gently running through his messy blonde hair brought comfort to the boy, and even amidst the anguish, he was able to smile. Link opened his mouth to sp

Five year old Red had to admit, it was cold. But Green wasn't wearing using a blanket, and as soon as Green snickered beside him, the red-eyed child glared up at his mother. She shuddered, surprised that such a child could give such a menacing glare.
It was super effective.

Hundreds of thirteen year old girls crowded around Green, begging for just a peck on the cheek. Leaf scowled across the room, turning back to the T.V. to see the ball drop.
Green pulled out of the crowd, resting his arm across the top of the couch.
"So Leaf, you know the New Years tradition", he licked his lips, popping in a mint, savoring the reaction she had made. She turned back to the T.V., her body shaking with silent squeals, trying to hide the obvious blush on her face.

Link remained silent as he watched the Twilight Princess step on the magical stones that then produced the stairway to her realm. When the eyes of Midna turned on him, stared into him, the corners of his mouth lifted ever so slightly. No matter her appearance, this was his Midna, the imp, the woman, he had come to care for so completely. And for the first time since he had met her on the Eldin hilltop, she spoke to him. “Well, the princess spoke truly.” She looked between the Mirror of Twilight and Link’s hopeful face. “As long as this Mirror’s around, we could meet again….”
This was the only thing Link could have asked of Midna. He could see that she would not ask him to come with her, would not ask that he choose between his people and her real

Link let out a gasp as Midna climbed up the set of stairs. She turned in silence as a beam of white light came from a huge reflective surface that Midna had called the Twilight Mirror. The same mirror both she and Link had braved the cold, travelled into time’s temple and risked the clouds for. A few crystal tears fell down Midna’s cheeks. Zelda held Link back with a stare as she vanished into a growing portal that shone from a black piece of marble.
Midna vanished and the mirror smashed into a thousand flakes like confetti. She was gone.
Over the course of four months, Link had become a hero, but only to a few people; many regarded him as the Ordonion boy who knew no fear. But Zelda and Midna had known different; they had seen him as a beast. His heart crumbled. His beast form had ripped open the grieving wound for Rinku; his guide, his guardian and his friend. “For once, business is actually slow today,” you muttered.
For the past couple weeks, people from all locations came to Sera's Sundries and cleared the shelves off like nobody’s business. Today, the only thing that covered the shelving was the product itself, begging for people to buy them. You were stuck working all day at the shop because Sera went to go get more supplies. Even she knew, Link wouldn't hear.

The man, she still loved.
