"Where do baby demons come from?"
Ghirahim stared at the boy, shocked. "Where did that question come from?"
"Well, I saw some really young demons in the castle today and I guess I just got curious since I've never seen any female demons here."
"Well you see, Link, demons are created by magical means."
Link glared. "Really? You're going to try to use the magic excuse on me?"
"Well it's the truth! When two demons want to create a child for themselves they both drink a special potion before, y'know…"
"Yeah I think I know what you mean. What then?"
"Then a few days later, if Master approves, a child created from their essence will appear in their home…or room if they live in the castle."
"Oh. That's…really different than how humans do it."
Ghirahim's eyebrow raised as Link's face furrowed in disappointment. "All right, I think I've played along long enough. What's the real reason you asked me this, Link?"
"I just…I've always wanted a child of my own."
"And you wa

"Ah ha, Link! It's been some time. What brings you here?" Gondo boomed with his usual energy. "I know it's been a while, but I've got that stuff for Vin's goggles." Link replied as he unloaded the small bundle of supplies onto the counter. Gondo examined the raw materials with a keen and practiced eye. "Wonderful! Now I'll just need to take a look at that bird to get the size right." It dawn on Link just then that he didn't know how exactly he was to call upon the inky avian. He had seen Pipit do it dozens of times, but had never actually tried himself. "I'll be right back, Gondo. Only Pipit knows how to call Vin." With a nod, Gondo set aside the various components on the table top and waved a quick goodbye to the blonde, who had taken off toward the plaza exit.
Link bounded excitedly from the bazar tent. He was eager to enjoy the pseudo normality he had dedicated the day to, but first he needed to get this task out of the way. Ho

Receiving no answer, Link pushed open the door and crept into Demise's room. The Demon King was sound asleep on the bed, his face peaceful and relaxed. The former hero carefully climbed onto the bed, shivering slightly as a cold draft blew through the room. His clothing hardly left anything to the imagination and did even less to keep him warm. Even the many blankets he had been provided with did nothing to keep out the chill of the stone walls.
The heat radiating from Demise's hair drew the boy closer and he gently wrapped himself around his master's head, reveling in the warmth. This was perfect, he thought as sleep finally came.
Demise groaned as he came to wakefulness. As he pulled himself from the bed, for some reason his head felt heavier than usual. Perhaps it was due to the alcohol he had drunk with Ghirahim the night before?
As he looked into his mirror, the Demon King stopped and stared. Link was draped over his head, sound asleep with a smile on his face. Demi

Link shrank back into the corner, eyes darting around the room in an attempt to locate either of his masters. All he saw however were numerous demons watching him with smiles that caused his heart to pound nervously. Why would Ghirahim make him attend this gathering? He knew it was important to Demise but all of these demons were kind of scaring him.
A hand on his shoulder made him jump. He slowly looked up to see a large purplish demon grinning down at him.
"A little jumpy are we, human? I happen to like that in my boys."
Link's eyes widened and he tried to move away but found his way blocked by a small crowd of other demons all looking at him like he was one of the many refreshments in the room. He backed up until his body met the wall and looked around frantically for Ghirahim or Demise as the smiling demons closed in on him.
"Master, may I speak with you?"
Demise glanced down at his sword and quickly excused himself from his conversation as he saw

“They’ve gone now, sweetheart.” Rauru panted, brushing his honey coloured hair out of his face; he and his wife; Karane hid in silence in a small damp cave in Hyrule Field, monsters in their hundreds were patrolling and Karane could not keep going while holding their month old child. He had been quiet for someone so young but the boy spent his days sleeping in his mother’s baby basket as they carried him towards Kakariko Village. Karane let out a short whine and picked up the baby as he started to cry in the basket; Rauru stiffened, he knew he could not explain the dangers of him crying but Karane hushed the child quickly by bringing him closer to her chest and humming a sweet lullaby that would put him back to sleep. Rauru came and sat back down, he looked at his sleeping son with tired blue eyes. So much of him was in that tiny life; the darker honey coloured hair that barely covered his face, a pair of huge blue eyes and a pair of tiny hands that

LoZ: Half the Sky... Part 1
A tall young gentleman in a rather nice dark business suit and designer shades, walked through the double doors of the establishment. It was like most places of it's kind, dark and gloomy, with only the small windows, one on each door which were some what shaded, to naturally light up the joint. The bright, but brief light from the outside world upon his entry, however, seemed to make the patrons and employees run and scurry or at the very least shade their eyes with their hands like cockroaches or vampires... The rest of the large oblong windows were covered with sheets to hide the sun and preying eyes, with the remaining dim light coming from antique looking lamps that had little frills hanging off of the different coloured coverings that were on various end tables and also from the lighted crystal chandeliers above, as well as ceiling fans that tried to keep it cool in the enclosed space.
The smoke was thick, thick enough to

This was it. Everything that Link had worked so hard for, had bled for, nearly died for, was about to be paid off. Finally, after many excruciating hours of wandering aroundat times becoming hopelessly lost, only to find out that he went in circles, encountering many large monsters that he had never seen before, and barely scraping by with what little red potion he had left, Link stood within only several paces from the large door that separated him from the entranceway to the Skyview Spring. It was this very doorway that would bring him to the dear person that was stolen from him. Though the journey was perilous, Link did managed to benefit here and there, such as finding a flying contraption that retrieved out of reach items for him, meeting the strange but very friendly forest folk called the Kikwi, and even having the privilege of meeting a traveling Go

Link let out a gasp as Midna climbed up the set of stairs. She turned in silence as a beam of white light came from a huge reflective surface that Midna had called the Twilight Mirror. The same mirror both she and Link had braved the cold, travelled into time’s temple and risked the clouds for. A few crystal tears fell down Midna’s cheeks. Zelda held Link back with a stare as she vanished into a growing portal that shone from a black piece of marble.
Midna vanished and the mirror smashed into a thousand flakes like confetti. She was gone.
Over the course of four months, Link had become a hero, but only to a few people; many regarded him as the Ordonion boy who knew no fear. But Zelda and Midna had known different; they had seen him as a beast. His heart crumbled. His beast form had ripped open the grieving wound for Rinku; his guide, his guardian and his friend. He had longed to be able to run with him on four legs, even for a moment. But that moment had never h

Ever since they both left Skyloft, Link seemed to handle the drawbacks really nicely, be those enemies that needed to be defeated, requests from the sky folks, help that needed to be offered, puzzles that needed to be solved and so on. She was almost satisfied with his fast progress - the spirit of the hero within his body was growing very fast.
However, she noticed the boy had been feeling exhausted - he had not much time to rest; he was getting more and more dark rings around his eyes (and, according to her database, Link was an

Link smiled at the book in his hands. Zelda had graciously given Hyrule Historia to him, in promise that he would keep it safe. He slipped the book into his bag, ushering Epona faster. He was making his way to the Forest Sage, so he was heading to Faron Woods. Maybe the Temple could be the one spoken about in the books.
Reaching the front of the Temple, he hopped off of Epona and took a good look around. It definitely brought back memories. He picked up a grass blade, held it to his lips, and played Saria's Song. When he had finished, he heard faint giggling, and the bushes around the Temple were shaking. He hadn't really thought the song would work, but when he saw something moving around him, he knew it had. He readied himself, prepared to reach for his sword, when a creature poked their head out from the bush. It mumbled something, then giggled. Link raised a brow to it. Some time far past midnight, you woke from your sound sleep. With the reason you had woken up a mystery, you snuggled back into bed and tried once more to rest. A cool breeze from the open window swept through the room, bringing with it all the smells of the night. Just as you began to drift, you heard a noise. “Who's there?” There was no moon tonight, making your room pitch black. Afraid that the intruder wasn't just an animal, you began throwing everything on your bed in the direction of the noise.
“Ouch. Hey be careful, it's only me. Stop throwing stuff.” A bright blue light appeared from nowhere, showing the face of your guest. “Thanks Navi, wait until after I get hit with a book to come out of my hat. I could have used the light a little earlier.”
“Link? What are you doing here? It's late, you should be asleep.” Without the moon, it was almost impossible to tell the time of night.

The young man was bent over at the waist. His body was covered in a sheen of sweat, the sun glistening off his powerful shirtless shoulders and back. His face, chest, arms and particularly his hands, were covered in dirt. He stood up straight, but slowly and winced, rubbing his lower back. He had been out here all day since this morning. He paused to take a break and put the handle of the pickax against his flat hard belly. He felt the cool breeze blow, the sweat off his body intensifying the coolness and he was thankful to the Gods for it. He reached into his back pocket and produced the handkerchief Ilia had given him as a present on his 18th birthday. He wiped the sweat from his brow and slicked his spiky hair back, the wetness making it stick. He looked up at the sun trying to shield his eyes and judged he had another two hours before it was eventide. His lips were dry and his throat was parched. He licked his cracked lips tasting the salt on them and breath

Link remained silent as he watched the Twilight Princess step on the magical stones that then produced the stairway to her realm. When the eyes of Midna turned on him, stared into him, the corners of his mouth lifted ever so slightly. No matter her appearance, this was his Midna, the imp, the woman, he had come to care for so completely. And for the first time since he had met her on the Eldin hilltop, she spoke to him. “Well, the princess spoke truly.” She looked between the Mirror of Twilight and Link’s hopeful face. “As long as this Mirror’s around, we could meet again….”
This was the only thing Link could have asked of Midna. He could see that she would not ask him to come with her, would not ask that he choose between his people and her real

Slowly watching the sun set as you sat on the cliffside overlooking Lake Hylia.
You watched his beautiful, golden hair blow in the wind as if it was grass.
The angelic, blue eyes dominated his pale face as he watched the clouds.
The view was amazing.
The lake sparkling as it waved to the sun.
The mauve sky complimenting the orange face.
The castle majesticly standing tall, watching all of Hyrule.

You both closed your eyes from embarrassment.

Link awoke startled in the early morning hours. He sat up in bed quickly, choking back a scream of terror. It was very dark in the room, save for a candle on his night stand and one on the other next to Zelda. He buried his head into one shaking hand, as his other goes to his scarred chest which is heaving in and out rapidly. Cold sweat runs down his face, chest and back. He wipes the perspiration from his brow, as he tries to regain his breathing. Zelda sits up, rubbing his neck and back encouragingly, trying to soothe him.
"The same dream, Dear?" she asks tiredly, already knowing the answer.
"Yea... the same one.", he responds heavily.
Zelda pulls the covers from off of her and swings her long slender legs out of bed, standing up to put on her pink robe to cover herself from the chilly early morning air. She takes the half burned down candle from the nightstand and lights a wall lantern which removes some of the darkness from parts of the room, but which
