It was a normal day at the Black Order for a young exorcist. She has short black hair with silver eyes. Right now she is only wearing a tank top and black short shorts. She walks out and heads to breakfast getting hellos' on the way there as well as happy birthday. As she walks in she sees her boyfriend Kanda Yuu. Yes a sweet innocent young girl is dating the distant cold Kanda Yuu. She walks up to him and hugs him.
I hug Kanda but something seems off. I look up and he's smirking.
What does he have planned?
I thought. I don't have time to react as I am picked up and brought to his room. He is still smirking and pulls out his hair as takes his jacket off. He leans down to my ear. I feel his minty cool breath hit my ear.
"Happy birthday Arianna-chan"
He said as he kissed me. I kissed back while he straddles my waist. He licks my bottom lip and I let him in. I let him have dominance and he moves is tongue all over my wet carven. Mean while

Why equipment doesn't matter all that muchOh god, I wanted that Wacom Intuos tablet so badly. Why equipment doesn't matter all that much1 year ago in Deviant Events More Like This
I was 16 years old at that time. I had already seen so much amazing art on the internet for the last few years. Digital art, to be precise. And I wanted to be able to do that as well. I had a computer, I had installed Photoshop. The only thing that I didn't have was money. I was completely broke. Note: it's 2004 we're talking about, here. 10 years ago (yeah, I'm old) when computers still costed a fortune and one almost had to take an extra mortgage in order to be able to pay a tablet. Back then, the average Intuos tablet costed as much as the average computer; a whole damn lot of money.
I had already been drawing for years, back then.
I occasionally scanned my drawings. But as my scanner was utter crap (all scanners where, back then), my preferred medium was pencil (that never does well with scanners) and I wasn't that good with adjusting colors in Photoshop... most of my drawings ended in utter digital disappointment.
Celebrating Diversity #27The idea behind the Celebrating Diversity Project is to post an article with deviations outside of my area of expertise here on deviantART. Therefore I decided to browse away from Photography, and venture into areas that I know little about!Celebrating Diversity #272 years ago in Art Features More Like This
I strongly encourage you to step out of your zone of comfort and take the time to discover or re-discover other types of art. The world is full of wonder and beauty, we just need to take the time and open our minds to see even more of it - embrace the diversity of it!

But Is It Art?
Perhaps the eternally unanswerable question. But definitely something to chew on... When I first saw it, I was instantly captivated.
At first thought, what a brilliant example of modern pointillism! Has some unknown artist taken up the long abandoned banner of Georges Seurat and presented us with a new manifesto championing art as points of light illuminating our waking dreams?!

OK, I see now it’s not a painting at all, so my pointillism exuberance is dashed. It’s more likely one of those photo collages with thousands of small imag

Community loveI just caught up reading the more than 700(!!!) messages you left me at my last journal and I'm pretty much left speechless.Community love1 year ago in Deviant Events More Like This
I initially posted the message to give some clarity to the fact that I'm offline for days sometimes, and that it takes me a while to read my messages (as if it doesn't take time already, considering the amount of messages I receive). Since it's the internet, I didn't actually expect people to care. Let alone; so many people.
Apparently people send messages for me to DAcompliments, or even made journals to show their support to me.
Which is really kind, but it also surprises me. Don't get me wrong. I'm more or less used to getting tagged. Mostly for my journals. Occasionally even for my art --

~Ghirahim and Midna Theory~After playing Skyward Sword and a bit of Twilight Princess, an idea clicked in my mind. I thought perhaps it was possible that Ghirahim was Midna's ancestor, and here's why:~Ghirahim and Midna Theory~3 years ago in Personal More Like This
In the end of SS, Ghirahim faded away in the colors purple and black. In the Twilight Realm, if you gaze at the sky, you'll find the same colors. Also, Ghirahim is an expert in the art of magic, and the Twili weild magic to keep their islands up as well as other structures, technology, etc. If you'll notice, Ghirahim uses a black/red ball of energy when he catches your sword in battle; and Midna uses practically the same thing in the beginning of Twilight Princess when she disconnects the chain from Wolf Link's ankle (except hers is more of a pink color). Furthermore, the Twilight Realm is the parallel dimension of Hyrule (Twilight Princess-wise) and is a dark realm, like the Demon Realm in SS. However, in Majora's Mask, Termina is another alternate dimension of Hyrule. Perhaps the Demon Realm somehow managed to
What's Hot (Beta): Trending Artwork on deviantARTArt on the RiseWhat's Hot (Beta): Trending Artwork on deviantART2 years ago in DeviantArt Announcements More Like This
DeviantART is a bustling and active community, and with the high volume of artwork submitted on any given day, it can be easy to miss something. In fact, it's common for artwork to go viral across the Web or get a spike of traffic days, months, or even years after it was originally submitted.
Our new “What’s Hot” browse mode surfaces artwork that’s receiving a recent increase in exposure, regardless of when it was submitted.
A New Way To Surface Artwork
We often see artwork gain a lot of attention across the Web (after being shared on blogs, social sites, etc.), but by the time this recognition occurs, our search engines don't consider it when displaying recently "Popular" deviations. The new "What’s Hot" mode is built to celebrate these surges of exposure.
What's Hot vs. Popular
The content of the “What’s Hot” page uses an algorithm that reflects what artwork has recently garnered attention, regardless of when it was subm

I woke early and watched silently as the beautiful woman beside me slept peacefully.
Wait a cotton picking minute did I just think beautiful... NO.... but in reality I loved her as much as I wanted to deny it to myself, I loved that woman and I loved her daughter more than I had ever loved anyone except my mother.
With that thought i mentally cussed at myself and I started to think of what my brother would say,
"Well dahym little Darlina got himself a little girlfrien, she's a pretty one ain't she mind if I have a look at 'ere?"
"Fuck you, Merle you stay the hell away from her, I've taken enough of your shit, i ain't taking no more", I said to him.
He laughed darkly and sarcastically which caused me to inwardly shudder, but the thing that truly terrified me, were what he said next, "Ain't no one ever gonna love ya and care about yer piece a shit ass but me little brother, don't you forget tha!!!"
I woke with a start and looked over
#03 How to Format your CommentsProjectComment is a Group of many projects centred around comments, but, more importantly, constructive comments. Every week, one admin from ProjectComment will write an informative article on commenting that will hopefully be useful to you! Please help support us by the article and contribute your thoughts and opinions on the matter.#03 How to Format your Comments1 year ago in Art Features More Like This
This article aims to show you how to format your constructive comments, and why you should format them in the first place. 'Formatting' in this case means making your comment more readable with a few simple steps.
Many of us simply write down the good and bad things we notice about an artwork, along with ways to improve the bad ones, which can lead to a unstructurized outcome, which makes understanding the comment and following the advice given harder.
Why should I format my comments?
Clarity and legibility. A wall of text is m

The Assumptions of TheftOne of the biggest issues facing creative minds in the age of the internet is that of theftof art, of ideas, of design work, even of code. The Assumptions of Theft3 years ago in Personal More Like This
When we creative types come upon an instance where our work or the work of friends has been repurposed/stolen/ripped, we naturally are upset. We rally our fellow artists to build an army of good against those who would steal that which we painstakingly created from scratch. We send emails, tweets, facebook posts, blog posts, journal posts, and even send snail mail in an attempt to discourage the thieves. We will insult them, threaten them with lawsuits, and make their lives so difficult that they will naturally have no choice but to take down the stolen work.
I have also had my work stolen in many ways. Logos I have created have appeared on websites where the thieves are attempting to actually re-sell the work, artwork I've made has appeared on other websites as both decoration and downloadable/purchasable products, and in one instance some of
In Light of Recent Events...People have been coming to me asking me for my thoughts on this, so I'll just say it here:In Light of Recent Events...3 months ago in Personal More Like This
I can't help but feel a bit concerned for the current art community at large.
There has been a recent case of an artist that even I admire rather greatly known to be referencing and copying imagery directly without citing the source, and then using the output work for profit.
I'm not going to take any sides on any of the matter. I personally feel the proper steps are being taken on the artist's part to rectify the situation and continue on a better course. We're all human, we make mistakes, and we all deserve second chances in whatever we do, whether it's subjectively wrong or right.
But the level of passiveness as to what has been actually done is disturbing to me.
I understand supporting artists when they've been seemingly vilified by the masses of the internets, that's natural to do. And we as artists appreciate that kind of support when it happens. By the Nine, I know it has happe
