My BlogTV viewersAs I've said many a time, my BlogTV viewers have been watching me for almost a whole year getting to know the good and bad sides of me whether I like it or not , heh.My BlogTV viewers3 years ago in Personal More Like This
Well today was one of the most pleasant surprises that they could have given me and allow me to explain how I saw it:
I was working away trying to learn SketchUp in order to model some maps from 5th Capsule which I have writen some three chapters of, when all of sudden I hear a knock at the office door. My office is deep within the office area , so sometimes I don't hear it. It was one of my students with a GAP bag and non-threatening demenor.
I asked him what it was, to which he replied 'when you open it, you'll know'. I responded quickly with another question : 'will it explode'? He assured me it wouldn't. I took it back to my office and the BlogTV people were there as I was in the middle of broadcasting.
I open it.
Apparently, my fans from the show all got together and bought for my birthday not o

The theme each month is dependent on the time! So, for October, the theme has to be in-keeping with something that happens during that month, or something that relates to that month. Halloween, Autumn, Fall - whatever 'happens' in that month and whatever
So I was just stopped by a cop....I wasn't driving. I was walking. He drives up, rolls down the window, and says something I don't quite hear. I say hello. He repeats it. "How old are you?"So I was just stopped by a cop....2 years ago in Personal More Like This
I'm in shock. I ask, "How OLD am I?"
"I'm 29!!" (I'm sure I sounded incredulous.)
I say, "I have my license if you want to see it." He wants to see it so I give it to him. He looks and hands it back.
He thought I was a highschool truant.
The moral of the story is that I should stop wearing clothing a teenager might wear because as I continue to get older and not to age it will become more and more unbelievable that I am as old as I say I am and I don't look forward to being driven in the back of a police car to the nearest high school, in tears BECAUSE I HAVE ALREADY DONE MY TIME!
Getting the Most out of dA: CommentingUsually, when you read something involving 'Commenting', you think of deviations and the commenting platform that allows other members of the community to voice their thoughts and opinions on the art shown. However, what is pretty evident, and something that most of us may forget, is that deviantART runs on the ability to give and get comments, be it on pieces of artwork, our profile pages, forums, and everywhere else in between.Getting the Most out of dA: Commenting2 years ago in Art Features More Like This
In a sense, without the ability to give and get comments, deviantART wouldn't be much of a website, much less #1 of online art communities around. Comments are not solely the cause of what makes deviantART what it is, but it has a huge impact on a lot of things. By giving and getting comments, not only do we interact with other members to really make this a community, we also have the ability to get our voices heard.
It's quite an odd concept with us all facing screens, typing out our thoughts and opinions, but one thing we shouldn't forget is that commen

Just some stuff I wish you to inform you about before people start getting curious~ ♪
As you don't know, a couple months back my Math teacher caught me dozing in an *important* meeting at school, so he called my mom and complained to her about my lack of sleep at home. Since then, it's been "computer off" at 9:00, which for a night kitty like me, is extremely ridiculous and early. I've decided as of tomorrow that I was fed up with it, so I confronted my mother and we agreed on a deal. If I put more effort into my schoolwork, like finishing homework in time, and not doodling cats in class, she would consider moving my bed-time to a later period. And here's the catch- I have to be nicer and more tolerable. If you knew me, you'd know how unsocial and unpleasant I am in real life, so it's gonna be difficult.
I decided to devote myself to school a little more and be a little less active on dA until I get at LEAST a 'B' on all of my classes. Starting after the break (The w

Using Natural Lighting and Outdoor Environments in Still Life
Many wonderful still life photographers use indoor setups and lighting for their photography. But, since I started out as a nature photographer, I like to utilize natural light and shoot my still life photos outdoors. However, taming the outdoor world can be a little tricky, so I wanted to write an article discussing several tips for improving outdoor still life shots and explaining how I shot several of my own still life photographs.
Here are several tips...
1.) Try different angles. Outdoor lighting environments can look widely different depending on the angle, since the angle you shoot at can change lighting, general perspective of the subject, and what is in your background. So for each shot I take, I always try several different angles. I also try re-positioning my subject a few times and even moving to a different outdoor area.

Shout-Out ProjectThe "inspiration" idea has been somewhat altered.Shout-Out Project1 year ago in Deviant Events More Like This
Is there a deviant that means a lot to you, someone who inspires you or is a great friend you can rely on? Were you never really sure of how to say "thank you" for what they do/have done for you?
Why not give them a shout-out?
Post a heart-felt journal (something much more in-depth than a regular feature) dedicated to them, stating what you are thankful for (or how they helped you, how much they inspire you, or just how they're an all-around amazing person), and maybe include some of their work or what they do in the community. The journal can summarize all that is awesome about them. If you have a few deviants in mind and wanted to include them in the same journal, that is perfectly fine. And please don't feel pressured to be too personal; just write what you feel comfortable with.
If you'd like to get involved but wish to remain anonymous, I will gladly take notes and post journals with what you would like

Because I have many extra medical costs, all money I earn goes towards these + my family's general living expenses. This is my only form of income right now and every single commission, no matter how small, is deeply appreciated! I promise to put all of my focus and love into every piece of art.
I'll draw basically any animal, though my preference is for equines and canines. "Fanart" is taken on a case-by-case basis; I will typically not draw strict fanart. Some fan-characters are accepted and some generalized characters that are considered pop culture icons. Please don't hesitate to ask!
With icons and sketches, I take payment first. With character drawings, portraits and illustrations, you will get to see and approve the sketch before paying. USD payment is taken via Paypal preferably, but if necessary we can work out another method. dA point payment is taken via the "premium content" purchase option when I upload your commiss
