"I know, you were pretty bad," Hale replied from the passenger seat, crossing his arms, a wide grin spread across his face.
"Me?" Zach sounded offended. "I made every shot, but you!" He laughed a little harder. "Dude, when you first fired and fell back cause the kickback-"
"Hey, I didn't know it was going to be so strong," the anthro wolf defended himself.
"I just wish Wolf could have seen you," Zach said, pulling to a stop in front of Hale's home. "When I told her we were going, she was bummed she couldn't be there to watch."
Hale watched for Zach to park the car before he opened the door and got out. "She wanted to see me make a fool of myself?"
"You know it," Zach grinned, getting out of the car.

"Do you know what today is?"
"Tuesday?" the thief asked after a hum. "Do we have something to do today? I thought we weren't heading out until Friday?"
Since they'd finished their job in their current town, it wouldn't be long before they cleared out of their hotel room and hopped a plane to their next destination.
"No, it's not that!" Eddy laughed, turning to Bobby who was moving to prop himself up on his elbows, looking at Eddy with his head tilted. "You really don't know?"
"Like you said, it's after midnight. I'm tired, my brain doesn't work as well when I'm tired." Bobby said, trying to keep a straight face as he gave Eddy his horribly lame excuse.

The girl is afraid of love?
That can't be right.
That isn't right at all.
I live for love.
It's the empty need I fear.
He's so beautiful.
I love him.
I want to make him happy, but not by sacrificing my needs.
I want to be close to him, but not give up my purity.
But that's all he wants.
That's all he ever wants.
I don't even think about it until he's trying to push my boundaries.
He can't see the other way.
He doesn't want the other way.
He wants me.
But I don't want him.
Not like that.

Spencer is right beside you in the car, his fingers stroking idly at your forearm, watching you with hooded green eyes.
"If you want to die," he says, "then just kill yourself, but do it with style."
You met The Boy Under the Sycamore Tree when you were four. Your mom encouraged you to go see the lonely boy, and when you first went over to him, he ignored you. The Boy Under the Tree, that's what you called him for the first day you knew him, was a little older than you with dark hair and smoky green eyes.
With encouraging looks from your folks, you walked right next to him and sat down, pressing your back against the tree's rough trunk.

Till the wounds stop bleeding.
Running through your clouds
Once the sky stops raining.
Never saying never,
Going faster, stronger, better
Even when the
Raindrops seem to fall down forever.
Till the birds start to sing, and
Happiness overwhelms you,
And a smile takes over your face
Now and eternally.
Surviving through the pain,
Until the wounds stopped bleeding.
It never seemed it would end,
Crying, screaming, dying...
Indeed it did, it
Even when the raindrops would never end.

Rumor has it that tall, dark, and moody has his hands full with the Joker tonight. That means nothing will get in my way.” Selina says as she walks over to her armoire. She opens the massive wooden structure and reaches behind all her dresses to grab her most infamous dress of all.
Selina Kyle, master thief, escape artist, and more famously known as “The Catwoman.” She is tall and slender. Selina wears a thin, black thong, with a black bra. Mascara and eye-liner adorn her face. She quickly pulls her hair reflective black hair back and affixes her cat-cowl. Next, she grabs her whole one-piece jump suit and slides on it. It fits her voluptuous curves perfectly without hindering her agility. She reaches for her boots and puts them on; the sound of their zipper is quick audible. Next, she zips up the front of her catsuit then

That's all anyone cared about these days. You had to be beautiful to find love. You had to be beautiful to get the job. You had to be beautiful to make friends.
Beauty was all around you. The slender, beauty queens and husky, cool guys at your school. Your "identical" twin sister, who looked exactly like you except for the fact that she was petite and healthily skinny. Even your baby brother was in the "Top 100 Beautiful Babies of 2014".
You, on the other hand, looked much different than all of these people.
Yes, you were on the chubby side, but not "fat" as your classmates claimed you to be. Most girls at school stood at 5'2 1/2 feet, but you were 5'5 1/2, clumsily towering over the others. You also had a small group of freckles that covered the bridge of your nose and cheeks. You wore glasses, not contacts, that were considered "an offense to fashion". You were also know for your emotionless expression

Or telling Kai to back out of my head.
No more anything.

Arkham City Bloat-downNature abhors a vacuum.Arkham City Bloat-down3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
It had been a busy old time in Gotham. Joker was dead, Batman triumphant, Hugo Strange defeated and Arkham city in ruin and disarray.
Huge numbers of inmates had been rounded up already to be returned to their cells in waiting Arkham, leaving large swathes of the former open air prison empty.
Empty... And unguarded.
The glass creaked, the smallest amount of pressure causing it to flex slightly. Just enough pressure for, say, a diamond tipped claw to trae a generous circle upon it, neatly cutting a hole in the pane through which a lithe, leather clad cat burglar might gain entry.
Doors were so passé.
She carefully slipped the disc of glass out, catching it before it fell to the street below, the resulting crash would be heard by few in this ghostly wasteland but few ears were still too many ears for comfort.
She was in.

I was bullied in schools while growing up.
School itself is difficult enough for people, and it confused me that kids would take the time and effort to make it even more difficult for someone else. Such as me. It took me decades, but I eventually pieced together what had been going on and what I’m sure is still happening. This is not the only reason that bullying happens, but it’s something identifiable that I have not seen addressed.
Have you ever witnessed or been a victim of bullying behavior that didn’t seem to have any motive or reason behind it? Or seemed to be inexplicably tolerated by authority figures?

Morgan had been sick for the last few days. He was complaining that his chest was tight, and that caused a horrible, wolf-like cough.
The servants of the royal family had prepared a small supper for the young prince, and Chrom insisted that he would bring the food to his son himself. The Exalt finished climbing up the last of the grand stairs and paused at his Morgan’s doorway to say a quick.
“Sweet Naga, with all your goodness,” he pleaded. “Let my son heal quickly.” Chrom then rapped the tray gently on the door and waited for an answer.
To his surprise, Lucina answered. A weak smile lay on her face, and her blue eyes wavered with concern. “Hello, Father. Come in.”

Because you’ll never know how it gets better
When focusing on pain and hurt.

And I swear to you, problems will fade.

The rain caused Erik numerous problems. He had to make sure his farm didnt flood, and that his delicate strawberries got enough light afterwards, not to mention, soggy vegetables often led to poor seeds. Oh the humanity! Poor seeds he would hang himself if he ever sold a batch of them. Now, on topic again, it was not his farm, or the tasty plants in his field, that he worried about most. It was actually the young slightly-hunched man right across the path.
It wasnt just on rainy days, mind. Kross caused him issues on a daily basis. He wasnt trying to, Im sure, but Erik couldnt help but worry. You see, not unlike Selphy with her books, Kross often became so consumed with his work that he went for days without eating or sleeping. So Erik had started to take it upon himself. He thought he was being a bit of a hero, and perhaps the ladies would see it that way as well
