For this artist appreciation anthro contest i dedicated this art for those who are disabled but still has plenty of passion in order to making art. They are fought over their shortages using what they have. For me they're the best artist ever who inspired the un-disabled person to keep has a passion at anything they do.
Let's come and hear what they're thinking "There is nothing perfect in this world, and so no perfect art, but everyone could try their very best at anything, that is what a 'perfect' truly mean" "even though we are not complete anymore doesn't mean we can't try to do the best, all living people has a passion, it is all about choice. wheter you choose to stay and let the passion pass away from you, or you choose to passing so much obstacles for your passion."

the title pretty much saids it all, besides the bahamas trip I took back in june, my summer has dull, dull, dull. sure I do see my friends from time to time, but that is rare and far between. I do have a job, but it is mostly freelance stuff and there are days when I have nothing to do. I always feel that I should be doing more with these warm summer days while they last. but I often find nothing worth doing.
been a while since I draw my dragon character ravenfire as an anthro, so I thought I draw her again, didn't feel like drawing wings because they are annoying to draw.
On Monday, I was on the verge of art black. Basically, I just sat down and said to myself I will draw whatever I want, and not stop 'till it's done so that's what I did. I took a break from all my groupstuff and bio art for a whole day and did this instead - combining my favourite thing to draw - a kimono - with one of my oldest characters. Drawing Hayley always brings a smile to my face.
I tried to get it really detailed and interesting, doing just what I liked even though it's probably not to accurate in places. Hayley's design is wrong, she's missing a tail and her clothes are too far forward. But you know what, I love this! It made me feel so much better and ready to work on important stuff again. c:
This is probably one of the best things I've drawn in a long time.
I drew this while listening to a combination of up-beat country songs, mainly "Wagon Wheel" by Darius Rucker and "Jump Right In" by Zack Brown Band (look 'em up, they're pretty fun to listen to (especially the second one)). I cannot tell you how much my hand hurt after finishing the wall and pavement The wall itself took me over nine hours (almost ten) from start to finish because of all the color layering, dots, lines, etc. The two pups took me just under three hours (in all) and the mountain cat character took about....I'd say about six or seven hours not including touch-ups throughout the coloring process. Other acessories (not including the guitar) didn't take much longer than an hour. The guitar itself was about two hours of work both drawing and coloring because of all the details. The neck of the guitar probably isn't as long as it should be, but it still works. Anyway, I swear this is the hardest drawing I've ever done next to the one of my brother. Though I'm excited about all the different details and techniques I learned doing it My only regret is I'm that much lower on a decent black colored pencil TwT All the other ones I have don't get much darker than gray and it ticks me off to no end. Cra-z-art really is losing its touch =~=
In real life, the shadows are a great deal darker. The scanner causes a loss of the darker shades when the image is scanned wirelessly. Directly, it adds too much shade. Stupid lack of happy-mediums.... But It still looks alright I suppose. Now, I thought about adding a tail to the mountian cat character, but I figured he looked better without one like my other character featured in "Heartless". Some characters look good with tails, others don't Can't help it. The pups certainly look better with tails though ^^ Makes them cute :3 My favorite of the two is definitely the girl because I could add the flower, more color to her fur, and the pink dress. X3 I'm not a fan of pink myself, but on little girls it's fine. (Btw, the pups are brother and sister (last minute idea when I was drawing them)).
Anyway, my idea was to have the characters look like homeless/runaways. My basic idea is, they can be happy despite the circumstances as long as there's a way, such as music, to forget the troubles. Country and Bluegrass is what does it for me. ^^ Though I do listen to other genres from time to time

For who's birthday is tomorrow! Happy Birthday! I couldn't resist drawing your fursona (it's so awesome to draw). So yeah I tried a different perspective view (so sorry if anything is wrong, it's a first time that I tried to do something like that that wasn't a sketch xD) and I can't draw headphones very well xD Hope ya'll like it

I actually drew this a while ago but never did anything with it. I'm pretty happy with the sketch as is, but as soon as I have enough time on my hands I really want to color it. Trying some more realism, and it's so much fun!
This blue sketch will be in the Anthrocon 2010 art show
