Okay. This is the second part of my tutorial. I will show you how you can draw the human head, or how I draw it.

Wow my background colour clashes horribly with dA's. Sorry about that.

POSES??? I want to stress that this is how I do things, not how you should do things. I mean, you can if you want. But it's entirely a personal thing, as art should be! Always look at other people's art, as they will come up with poses you hadn't even thought of and generally broaden your mind.

Here are some useful links:
  • pixelovely has photos of life drawing poses and a system that cycles through them like a real life drawing class! You can also pick whether you want just men or women, or just nude or clothed, or both.

  • posemaniacs has tons of 3D models in poses. They're shown on the muscle layer of things so that you can see how the muscles work! All models can be rotated 360 degrees, and come in varying degrees of camera angles from top to bottom. They also have a fantastic hand viewer which has hands that can be rotated along all axes, although there's a limited selection of poses and the anatomy of the hands themselves could use some work.

  • Some great stock providers on deviantArt include *SenshiStock, *LaLunatique, aaaand... I can't find the others right now. I'll edit this post when I do!

  • Here's a big list of useful stock!

  • Here are some other good tutorials and references! one two

This is barely a tutorial, more like my notes on how I DRAW clothes. IT's probably like...a 1/3 accurate. So, don't quote me on this. This is just how I do it. And What I keep in mind when I draw. SO yeahhh.

Anyway, last installment of Korey's commissions so..

I'm sorry it's so short! I don't really know what to say about clothing not including like styling of it or anything.

Some of you have mentioned that the "hands are soft" thing is wrong and it only makes hands look unnatural. I don't disagree with you, however, I only wanted to point out that fingers shouldn't be square or too pointy. To make it clear, here's an example of what I mean:

Please don't hate me for not being clear enough, I'm just a 17 years old loser with a laptop who accidentally made a tutorial that quite unexpectedly became popular :'D

I was getting tired of people asking me how the hell do I draw hands, so I made this (´・ω・`)

I hope someone finds it useful <3

and i will love you forever <3 ;u;

Unpretty badly made tutorial looks bad... but its the content that matter I suppose :iconotlplz: ?

I am sure there are spelling errors everywhere and I am terrible at typographical stuff and graphic design :iconlazycryplz: so plz forgive meh.

A lot of people are asking me to make a colouring tutorial, well honestly I just use photoshop's layer effects to do all the work for me, here are my favourite layer types etc and a little bit about what they do.

With the right tweaking its easy to make effects like these

All made using the technique of correcting then painting multiple times :) And the curves tool which I forgot to add, basically all it does is which part of the curve you grab effect the value its closest to, e.g if you grab the bottom and move it you replace all the black tones in your image with either green/blue/red, you can also use it to add or remove colours accordingly. I always try to make sure there is no back or white anywhere in my images, this means when you do finally use it, its a lot more powerful ( specially with highlights )

*edit OMG *sobsobsobsob* thank for the DD :iconhappytearplz:

omg I am terrible at writing, but a lot of you asked for something like this.... So since I hit the 1K follower mark (holy shit almost 2k) I thought I'd make this real quick for you. (since I'll be busy with work the next week and a half)

but DISCLAIMER: Boobs DO come in different shapes and sizes, this is just a GENERAL way to break down a flat image, its up to you to make it HOW YOU SEE FIT.

this is not at all Anatomically correct. This is just how /I/ break down my doodles.

happy drawing guys, hope this helps

Note: this is for 3/4 view angles, you'll have to tweak it a bit for front and side views

If you notice the title, it's called a "tentative" general body tutorial because these are things that I know. It's not perfect and frankly I'm hesitant to teach anyone anything because often I'm not sure if I'm right. DERP. My friend Korey graciously commissioned me to do a succession of tutorials so you guys, if you wanted this should thank him lol. I DON"T KNOW HOW HELPFUL THIS IS. SORRY

Also because this is just a general body tutorial, it regretfully doesn't go into details. I highly recommend these if you're interested and haven't seen them yet:

her tutorials are amazing.

Edit:: Also, it's been brought to my attention, the boobs, the nipples are too low, they should be around the center of the boobs unless overweight. Will fix later.

I'm back with some new tutorial.
I was able to repair my computer, though it's still crashing every now and then..
I'm trying to finish my commissions while studying for my driving test XD

Well, as said before, here's a new tutorial, just a very simple one though.
I hope you can follow these steps, it's quite hard to explain how i draw.
If you have any questions feel free to ask me, and a feedback would be quite awesome. I'm curious to know if i was able to help a bit.
Any suggestions for a next tutorial?

Edit: This tutorial is made for beginners, it shows some easy (not very common) steps i've created to draw a halfway decent body, it's also supposed to be an "Anime-style" tutorial (based on Tite Kubo's style) but you can of course draw anything you want with these steps. I've placed value on the simplicity, i wanted it to be easy to imitate for everyone!

What's with all that stupid advertisement? Could you please stop that?

crappy old bleach tutorial:
