Eternal SleepA sirens song,Eternal Sleep2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Calls my name,
Sorrowful and beautiful,
Filled with pain,
The call of death,
Promises of peace,
An eternal one,
Of endless sleep.
Her open arms,
Hold me close,
As the coldness
Of death takes hold
Numbing and frozen
As the pain eases away
I close my eyes
And with my last breath
Say your name....

His sweet words touched her heart
Now it is bleeding and torn apart
His gentle touch as he held her hand
Now it is empty as a barren land
His tender kiss across her lips
Ignited something deep within
Now they are parched and dry
Craving moisture that he would provide
He caressed her heart with his love
Now it is screaming from the pain
Dying slowly as she cries in the rain

I don’t know how much longer that I can be strong,
This storm is so great, I feel like I am coming undone,
Winds wrapping around me, I can hardly breathe,
The rains breaking me down, tearing at the seams,
Burning eyes I have, that don’t shed a tear,
The weight upon my shoulders, I can no longer bear
What once was strong and impenetrable, these walls of mine,
Are slowly crumbling around me, dust into the ground
No longer able to shield myself, from all that’s going on,
A heart slowly dying inside, no longer filled with joy,
Sadness and sorrow have engulfed my very soul,
Sometimes I truly wish that I wasn’t here anymore.
Wings battered and bruised, fail me as I fall to my knees,
No longer able to glide and fly, enjoying the breeze,
Dreams that were once so real, burning to nothing but ash,
Are blown away with the wind, floating by so fast,
I watch them as they fade, all my hope is gone,
A sad melody fills my ears, as my tears finally fall…

I hold the knife
Over your back
I calm my breath
I hold myself steady
On the count of three
But then your future life
Flashes through my eyes
Of how you will live
If this part dies
How your eyes will lose
And how each step
Will take all the strength
you can muster
How you will become bitter
Maybe you'll hang your head
And just do what you're told
You'll pass this hurt
From that to the next
And I'll have started this
How many lives down the road
Will i have wrecked?
And now I must ponder
Now I must see
Why this knife
Is even a choice with me?
It happened to me once
Oh, how I'm sure
Everything’s fair in
Love and war
I lunge at you
With these thoughts set
And here starts a choice
I may regret
There's a clatter from
Steel on the floor
You look back to me
And i wonder if I should
Bolt to the door
But instead, I hold tight
My arms around you
Who has not a clue
Of what i just

Now i don’t regret th
Germanyxreader - It don't mean a thingThere you were again, sitting at a table near the edge of the heated room. Bodies were twisting and twirling on the dance floor, guys spinning and dipping girls, pulling off moves that were a huge risk to even perform. You laughed and clapped along with the music as a good swing tune came on by the ever-famous Benny Goodman. You squirmed in your seat, wishing you had the courage to get up and dance with everyone else, but you knew that you would never have the nerve to ask a guy to take your hand and swing with you. So there you sat in the jazz club, dressed in the British style that a lot of people hated.Germanyxreader - It don't mean a thing2 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
This wasn't the first time you had come to one of these types of dances. The first time you had heard of them, you were in the music shop, scanning through some records. Your eyes had traveled to a group of students from your school, looking over their shoulders and whispering about something that you could only catch a few bits of. When they left, you walked over and began looking t

I suppose it was inevitable, being the human in the crew.
It happens to all of us, and we all must start anew,
But still, our poor poor Jester, you have us, your crew.
Now I know you might not want a Reaper's comforts,
And well, even despite my best efforts.
The touch of death is hardly the greatest of comforts,
Even though an Angel's pity is one of the sweetest of desserts.
Callous hands and callous ways, coupled with a callous tongue,
I cannot help but feel I'm to blame, at least if only for some.
Please know, none of it was intended, I never tried to depress you,
Guys, it looks like our poor Jester has bit off more than she can chew.
Don't worry though Riddle, we have people to take care of you,
The perfect person, an Angel for comfort, and of course Sarah too.
Our poor poor Jester has bitten off more than she can chew...
But as long as we have breath in our lungs, we will look after you.

The minute Little Germania woke up, there was only one thought that went through his mind MUST KILL ROME. This was Little Germania's only motive each morning, even at such an innocent, tender age. To kill that pesky, auburn-haired, dummkopf Rome was his goal in life. Germania didn't know why he hated Little Rome, but he never bothered to answer that question; he was only about a 7-year-old (in human age) after all.
Germania silently slid off the bed, careful not to wake his Vater. He slowly lowered his feet to the floor, and crouched down. He stretched his short, chubby arm under the bed, and his hand clasped onto a rough wooden rod. He took out his spear, but he was not satisfied yet. He continued to rummage under the bed for his trusty sword, trying not to make a racket. He felt something smooth and cold, and slipped the sword out as quietly as possible.
Now that he had his weapons of mass destruction, he stood on his tippy toes to check if

This is the old tale we all know so well,
The proof lies here in the tale I am about to tell.
There was once a beautiful, smart and rich woman,
She was powerful and seemingly had everything.
Yet, although she had all this, she was miserable,
It's a sad truth, but then again, it's a sad tale.
She lost someone, it hurt her badly, it made her sad,
She'll be fine, but it hurts... She could be going mad.
But no, it was normal to hurt after such a loss,
There was a man to look after her, whatever the cost.
She was a proud, beautiful, smart and rich woman,
She was powerful and seemingly had everything.
But on the inside, her heart was hurting,
The reason why this tale is so saddening.
She was rich, she was powerful, she had everything,
Yet she was about to break, just like anyone or anything.

With tears in my eyes
Begging and pleading one more time
Please I cry
Remove it from me
I can't handle the pain
So deep within me
Let me feel nothing
Because its all a lie
Love is supposed to be beautiful
Yet instead I cry
Lifting the knife
With shaking hands
Blood dripping from it
Into the sand
Kneeling down next to me
Her eyes open wide
Staring at the fresh scars
Where my heart does be
Shaking her head
She holds me close
Covering the cuts
As I lean in close
Cry little one
She says to me
Pour your heart out
Let the pain free

Sleep with one eye open child,
the worst is yet to come.
You have no more hope to hide,
It's time to fight or run.
The night air is stained by lights both red and blue
and the phantoms are out tonight.
The daggers are calling and waiting for you.
Your blessing became a blight.
White coats and checklists,
you are but a number now.
Knuckles of blood and guilt ridden fists,
you are but an animal now.
The dead are awake and the living sleep,
dreaming a violent dream.
The dead are the wise with wisdom to keep,
while the living just wait on the seam.
The edge of the blade.
With one hand we help a man,
with the other we choke his brother.
We're the species with the violent plans,
and choose to be fighters rather than lovers.
In naivetè we sleep.
In anger we cry.
In pretence we weep.
In reality we ever so slowly... die.

Quickly, quickly, it is freeing
All the memories pushed aside

And before you know what's happening
Everything comes back again.
I wish I could have been strong
As strong as you have been
I wish I could be that strong now
And remember without burning tears
You were weak and fragile
But calm, so calm and strong...
I wish I would not know this song
Which speaks to me of you
Which holds up a mirror to my face

Keeps on playing endlessly in my head.
I wish I could be strong
And just forget...

We grieve. We feel pain.
My poor little friend. I can't express the sadness I feel. Yesterday evening, when I found out the news, I wasn't able to think about it. I wasn't able to think about it last night either, not without tears.
I can't believe he's gone.
We've all loved him so. He was always there, ever since I started high school, which was five years ago and five years isn't much for a cat. He was there even before Arthur. I knew his mother. And that small, fluffly bunch of his brothers and sisters which all disappeared very quickly. Only he and his sister survived the first summer. That's why we named her, Lucky. And only he returned after it. I remember him as a little kitten. He was small and grey and he had a strange voice. He meowed like no cat did. He was always picking fights with other cats and always coming back. The true fighter. The true warrior.

Beneath the stars that have no end
Just you, I, and the night
Our laughter knows no limits

You were one of many delights
Aboard this wonderful ship
And now it seems I’ve let you slip
Dance with me, my love
Like you always used to
Take away my tears with your smile
You did as only friends do
To draw my own mischievous grin

Tea time was something that little Arthur enjoyed immensely, but he was not allowed to have too much of the beverage because he was a little Chibi, and too much caffeine would mean Arthur not going to bed, frequent trips to the bathroom, and lastly, and to his father's horror, wetting the bed.
The little nation sat at the table in the dining room, swinging his feet, and sipping some cocoa from his cup, as this was what he was given by his father Alfred. The nation was off in another part of the mansion, but was most likely in his billiards room, and he usually spent many hours there.
Getting bored because he wanted to spend time with his father, and never having the time, little Arthur got down from his chair, and setting the mug of cocoa down, he ran down the corridor and his little face lit up as he heard the sounds of Alfred laughing at something. He

Snowy satin flowed against his skin like seawater – something Levi hadn’t seen in years, something he’d promised to take her to see one day. All circumstances considered, he might have to break that vow now.
Levi crumpled the light satin in his fist in one motion, clutching it so tightly his knuckles nearly matched its color. Was this the shoulder of the dress? The skirt, the neckline? He tried imagining her in the gown, radiant and smiling and brilliant as she always was. Even though he had been doing it since the day he met her, he couldn’t do it now. All he could picture in his mind was blank emptiness – a strange thing to try and picture, but something to be pictured nonetheless

In this world where deception rules
And fake smiles hold families together?
Why is it so hard
For me to be honest
When all my life I’ve lied?
In this world of lightly treading
Manipulation and untruths
Why is it that honesty
Solves my problems
But hurts everyone else?
Is that all I’m meant to do?
To cause pain and misery?
Why have I tried all my life
To disguise my emotions,
To protect people,
Only to find that
It hurts them all the same?
Perhaps I am selfish.
In protecting them,
I protected myself
I never wanted
to hurt anyone
So I took myself away
Living under a mask
Shrouded in lies
I fooled even myself
Into thinking I was the hero
Instead I am the siren;
I am the villain

The fresh breeze felt good up against her skin. She closed her eyes and listened to the sound of the ocean. It sounded so peaceful. They were back on the little island where she first met the Keeper. A part of her didn’t want to go back, but she had two promises to keep. Sighing she turned and jumped slightly when she saw Reaper standing beside her. “What…what are you doing here?”
