I lay there; my chest filled with more pain than I thought was possible, and watched her leave. There was so much I had wanted to tell her, to explain. Now I wouldn't ever have that chance.
"Smellerbee," I gasped, clutching her arm. "There's a notebook under my bed, please make sure Katara gets it."
"I promise," she said through her tears. I've never seen her cry before. Is it wrong that I'm happy she's crying for me? I know at least two people will miss me. I slowly reached up and brush the tears away, smudging her war paint. I smiled weakly; she's going to hate me for doing that.
"Don't think of me like this, okay? Remember me how I used to be. Be strong," I whispered and closed my eyes for the last time.
"Katara!" Aang cried running towards her. "I've got something for you."
"For me? What is it?" she asked looking up from the dinner she was preparing.
"Well, you know how I was in the Earth Kingdom right? Well I as passing through Taku on my way to-"

Zuko rubbed his temples in an attempt to banish the heard of ostrich-horses that were stampeding across his skull. If someone had warned him how difficult this job was, he would've been more insistent that his uncle take back his birthright. Unfortunately, the retired general was wiser and cleverer than his nephew and had successfully convinced the teenager to take the throne. Zuko noted that he had yet to exact revenge for that.
He dropped his hands to the desk and tried to read the proposal yet again. The idiotic, traditionalist captain advised requiring all residents of the Fire Nation, who were not native, to carry identification papers at all times. Zuko seriously considered setting it on fire. Instead, he moved it to his "when hog-monkeys fly" pile. The scribes would take those and write appropriate, polite, responses.
He sighed tiredly an

Katara lowered her arms, releasing the ice daggers where they hovered. She glared at the man on the ground before her. He was pathetic. Sniveling, begging her to take his own mother as revenge. His heart was cold and full of malice. There wasn't a single once of care for anyone but himself. How could a person live like this? She turned and walked away in the direction where Appa had been left.
She heard steps behind her, but didn't slow or acknowledge the presence of the one behind her. She'd always wondered about the type of person who could do what that man had done. She climbed on Appa and waited for Zuko to follow. He stared up at her from the ground for a moment, an indecipherable look in his golden eyes. She cocked an eyebrow at him and he looked down as he climbed onto the saddle on Appa's back.
"Yip yip" she nearly whispered, holding onto the reigns as Appa took off into the air. Once he had gained as much height as he was going to she relaxed, her

At first it had been painful: having freedom so close, and yet so far. Each night as the moon grew fatter it tugged at her bones with intensified vigour. Freedom, it crooned. Escape!
Now she heard nothing at all.
Korra lay against the far wall of the cell. Her legs were splayed at a comfortable angle, chin to chest, her arms tied tightly behind her back. The rope was thick and strong, as she'd quickly discovered.
It was also annoyingly scratchy.
She was a state: her hair, barely bound, was a tangled mat of blood and grime. A shallow gash in her side glinted evilly in the dimness, accompanied by various bruises and grazes scattered unsparingly over nearly every expanse of available skin. Where there wasn't blood, there was filth.
Korra's head snapped upright, eyes trained to the sound. Footsteps echoed off of the walls of empty cells. Her ears strained as she attempted t

Zuko paused for a moment. Was he really going to risk his marriage for a girl he met seven years ago? Was he really going to put everything he had worked for in danger just for the one in a million chance of meeting her again?
"So what is it going to be?" repeated Aang.
"Fine I'll tell Father tonight. If all goes well, we leave first thing tomorrow "
Hours passed and the sky grew darker but the festivities in the Fire Nation Palace were far from being over. Zuko tried to avoid Mai and the party guests as much as possible. He never even wanted this engagement. Had it not been part of his duty as a prince, it would never have even entered his mind. To get away from the crowd, he and Aang decided to take a walk through the town. Wearing his cloak to disguise himself, he and Aang quietly snuck out the door.
"Zuko?" an elderly voice said. "Where are you going?"
Zuko turned around and saw his uncle waiting for him. The prince ex

"Zuko," Aang pleaded, "I want you to give Katara a romantic evening."
The Fire Lord stared at the Airbender like he had turned into a Sky Bison. "What?"
Aang smiled. It was that disturbing, 'Can't we all be friends?' smile. "I have a hot date tomorrow, and you should invite Katara over and give her a great time."
Zuko blinked repeatedly. He understood each of the words, but he must have been missing the overall meaning, because what he heard didn't make any sense. Fortunately, Zuko had a reaction ready. "What?"
Sokka looked over from where he was painting at Zuko's desk. The three were in Zuko's private study, in the heart of the Palace, ostensibly to hang out as friends. "Isn't tomorrow Flames of Passion Day?"
Aang nodded. "That's why I think Katara deserves a nice time. I mean, we were both okay after I-" He glanced at Sokka.

Da-ze, here, have a spoon. You'll get plenty of more later.~
The Saturday-morning sun was hidden behind your morning shades. As you turned to your side, half asleep, you saw a small sticky note attached to the second silver spoon you recieved. It made you chuckle slightly, knowing that your new boyfriend, Im Yong Soo, was such a goofball. He asked you out yesterday and you happily took his hand. And that's when he handed you the first silver spoon with a note saying Da-ze, have a spoon, you'll get more soon. In all honesty, you had no idea where he was going with this. Spoons? Is that supposed to be romantic? Whatever it meant, it made you happy, and curious to know how many 'spoons' you'll receive later.
The sound of 'Give me that fillet o' fish' rang from your phone and you scrambled out of bed to reach it.
"Annyeong, ______~" came a cheery voice who was none other than...

He smiled back, eyes closed as you quickly read through the senders. However, when you reached one letter, you froze. Your father looked at you. “What is it?” he asked, concerned.

After the fiasco with the Noah's Arc Circus, Undertaker had been quite busy as of late. He'd spent the better part of a week preparing caskets for the unfortunate children that had not survived, as well as preparing the few bodies that had been recovered. He'd also been responsible for making a coffin for the wretched Baron Kelvin though none of his remains had been found from the -ahem- "accidental" inferno that had destroyed his estate. The mortician smirked to himself thinking about young Lord Phantomhive's handiwork in that but his thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the shop door opening. He dusted his hands off and made his way towards the front, a smirk still present on his lips.
"Good day to you- Oh! Mr. Michaelis! What a pleasant surprise. What brings you here today?"
It was then that Undertaker noticed the body in the man's arms.
"Oh, I'm afraid if you've come for a coffin, there is a bit of a wait," he said as he gave a slight shake of
