Here is my submission for the Tomb Raider Reborn contest. My wife did such a great job portraying Lara Croft. Did about 3 different shoots to get the right picture. I wanted to do something that reminded me of movie poster so I included the typography in the piece and tweaked it to fit the feel. You can see the original image on my site.
entry for "The One Cat, One Fruit , and One Clock Contest" ^^ working really hard for this one , and since photo manipulation is not my thing i really try to do it slowly and carefully . well all image there were provided from StockProject (except the pattern , it's my own collection)
hope you enjoy this as i enjoy making this entry ! ^^
Tomie is an evil demon seed of an over-confident, self absorbed, man attracting, bitch.
To put it nicely. She gets men so attracted to her, she causes them to kill her and abandon their old loves, or willingly bring them into her devil hands purely for her entertainment.
And when she dies, if she wasn't burnt to a crisp, she regenerates, into more Tomie's, before you know it.
The world is crawling with them.
That manga is freaking horrifying, and I wanted to portray the Tomie I see. Plus the fact that as much as she tries to have her beauty captured, it never quite turns out right...
Well, I guess I could have used photoshop effects, but I wanted to really do minimal work to the actual picture of me, I wanted just an air of wrongness about it without having to go all the way to disfiguring the picture more....er, I'm not making sense
Yess! Here we go! With Mypaint and my Trust Tablet ('cause you don't need cs5 and a cintiq to digitally paint )! I hope those three years of practice have brought me to a better point in my drawing path.
And, yes, she was supposed to have wings in the first artwork too... but I couldn't draw dragon wings three years ago
Hope you like the new design, and hope Lady Marty (the blue lady) likes it too!
After two weeks I finished my entry for TR Reborn Contest
Image was made in Adobe98 color space (rendering + postprod) stored in 8bit color depth, PNG format. Original was made in 16bit and it's also available. Programs I used for this work: Daz Studio, Maya, Mudbox, Mari, Maxwell Render and Photoshop.
So here's my entry to the Outcast Odyssey contest! She seems to be wrecking havoc in some peaceful forest area, but there's probably some treasure in that abandoned castle.... Or maybe she just has some secret wish to be in the monster category.
When I saw this contest I knew I had to join. Drawing for card games and the likes have been a dream for a long time! This was great practice and is about the best I can draw at the moment Feel like I am making steps in the right direction when it comes to anatomy and backgrounds, so I'm a happy panda. I wish all the entrants (is that a word?) the best of luck, and I'm looking forward to see all the amazing entries!
