For every blessing there is a curse
Behind every smile flows a river of tears
Between each happy verse lies unread sorrow
Before every dream preceded a torrent of nightmares and fears
And it seems to be no different with me
So lay your head to rest
Whether on my lap, shoulder or chest
And I'll tell you what I've kept inside
Since there's no longer a reason to hide
So far you only see what I want you to see
I hope that after everything's said and done
You'll see the real problem that lies hidden in me
All this time I've done nothing but feign sanity
But there's nothing joyful or sane about me
This body and mind you admire so
Sits here waiting Death's piteous embrace
To wipe the fake smile off of my face
I tried to be the predator; heartlessly pouncing on my prey
Nothing could harm me. Against me; no one was even a match.
Anything that did phase left but a mere scratch
I always held my head up high; pretending all was ok
Stating only the good things; those that filled me with
SlenderWally snorted in frustration as the rest of the team had a barrier around the small ebony's room at the Cave, his arms firmly crossing over his chest as his eyes darted between each of them in search of a way to get through. They were tightly packed though, not even the slightest of a chance that he would be able to slip his muscled frame through the cracks without crushing himself to death. That didn't stop him from pushing through them, parting the women rather than where Conner stood with the thought if he had that he would've been crushed for sure.Slender3 years ago in Romance More Like This
"Would it kill you guys to give him some space?" he griped, glaring accusingly at them before setting his ear to the wood of the door and knocking sharp and quick. "Rob, it's just me. Can I come in?"
There was a quiet little whimper, but he got no more of a response than that. It didn't seem to bother him though, instead being all he needed to hear to work his way through the heavy lock on the door, pushing the others back.
His BestThe splintering of the concrete wall behind his head drew out an agonized groan from the pale split lips, emerald eyes scrunching up to clear back the stars. A mad cackle, rather from a complete temporary loss of sanity than the fury for the swelling eye, drifted into Wally's ears and rushed a shiver along his aching spine. His Best3 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
"L let me . g . o F-fight like a.. ma man " the speedster choked out, struggling to find the breath that the crushing hold to his throat that suspended his feet from the floor had rid him of.
The narrowed eyes just inches from his own bore holes past his closed eyelids, daring to lighten the grip to his neck, nails tauntingly grazing the yellow spandex at the back of the teen's neck.
"You think you stand a chance against me, sidekick? Look at you! Sputtering like a child in the spotlight!" the man scoffed proudly, lifting the ginger up higher along the wall.
His skin was an ivory paint, pure all the way through without a freckl
Earth to Zatanna"Ok girl spill." Artemis instructed her best friend with her hands on her hips, grey eyes staring intently into her blue. Zatanna looked at her with mocking confusion that clearly read: who me? "Everyone could tell Wally was going to kiss me, but you and Robin. Where did that come from?" the frustrated blonde demanded.Earth to Zatanna3 years ago in Romance More Like This
Zatanna smiled slightly, "Well he's just so cute, and he was there for me when Fate took over dad." She looked at her friend, who was half glaring at her, "Well besides you and the rest of the team but with him it was different." She amended quickly. Still the blonde was not satisfied with the answer. "I like him ok!" Zatanna nearly shouted.
Finally the blonde smiled, "That's all I needed to hear, catch ya later, I have a date with Wally. Don't want to be late, he is a speedster." The blonde winked at her friend as she flipped her hair over her shoulder and turned to walk out of the room. As soon as Artemis had left the room Zatanna heard a voice in the back part of the

It was a normal day in the guild of fairy tail; Everyone drinking, talking, having fun, fighting, people being thrown across the room, and of course not a moment of silence. Everything was pretty normal. A certain dragon slayer was sitting at the bar, waiting.
He smelled the air, it had no recent trace of her sent anywhere for she had gone on a job with those two idiots. He smiled at himself, oh how jealous they would get when ever he would talk to her, even when he was just near her in a room it was unbearable to them. His mind drifted of into thoughts of her; the small blue haired mage who had melted his iron heart into beating just for her.
"Gajeel!.." He could hear her soft voice say his name, thinking it was his mind.

Summary: Mamori longs for someone to spend Christmas Eve with.

Too bad she didn’t have someone of her own to steal moments with, to hold or fall into.

She was a manager, a maid, and a medic. She was a girl he could use, and boy has he used her.
Just not in the way that she wanted him to.

"Let's go Artemis." He turned to the blond girl next to him. They sprinted to the ladder and climbed to the next level of the rusted tower. On the rooftops around them they could see Superboy and Beast Boy leaping from building to building; Superboy was leaping as far as he could, taking three buildings at a time, while Beast Boy ran just behind him as a deer. Miss Martian and Zatana were flying low over the ground taking out whatever goons remained. A hundred yards away, they could see the flat topped building where they were meeting. "You think you can make that shot?" Nightwing asked.
"Oh yeah." She said confidently. Artemis raised her bow, taking aim at the raised portion of the building roof.

"I am definitely against this," Dororo said. "We should take Natsumi's and Giroro's feelings into consideration-"
Keroro pressed a button and immediately sent Dororo to the underground dungeons.
His voice echoed from below, "Keroro you traitor!" followed by a sad, distressed wail.
"We finally decided on how to invade Pekopon." Keroro said, ignoring his friend's cry and sealed up the space where Dororo was at one point.
"Well, it's about time!" Giroro said, taking a seat. "What did you decide on?"
"We're going to use Natsumi's femininity against her," Keroro said.

That had been four restless hours ago, though, the ebony's black locks splitting and parting into the crevices of the blinds blocking the window of his room in the Wayne Manor, his knees weakly drawn to his chest in the black spinny chair that had cradled his muscled frame for the last three. I was in some massive underground, well lit room.New Beginnings Chap 13 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
How did I get here? I thought and then I heard a murmur behind me. I turned as much as my bonds would let me and noticed around a dozen hostages. The only difference between them and I was they were bound with rope, not this painful wire.
I heard a noise. There were big, burly men armed with all sorts of weapons; guns, knives, electric sticks, the works. There was smoke and I heard men cry out and a fight start. Later the smoke cleared and around half a dozen were down. And out walked him. Nightwing. Blue finger stripes and all. He taunted the men and several charged at him and they disappeare

I have an Existential Crisis about 5 times a week, and let me tell you, they aren't fun.

She placed one hand over her hip and another one over her chin, "hmm-ing" and "what-is-it-ing", when finally she remembered. Her bathing suit, of course. Phil was running late for school so he had to take a short cut down an alleyway. Normally he would be scared when traveling through the alley (they are creepy!). But today was different, he was like an all new Phil! He had smile plastered across his face.
This past week had been simply amazing!
He had spent any time he could with his best friend Dan. Dan was a few years below Phil so , sadly they couldn't always be together. But despite that they were happy enough with the amount of time they did get together.
Phil had fond memories with Dan of intense gaming and Buffy marathons, play fighting, drawing cat whiskers on each others faces and cooking together. It was like every night they stayed round each others houses, in fact they often spoke of buying a house together and moving to London instead of boring old Manchester.
You would hardly ever find Phil without Dan or Dan with out Phil, they came in a package! Life was truly good for them right now.

She wasn't really a women either. Truth to be told she was an alien from mars. But did this really matter? Yeah, admittedly it is kind of important to know, but not for this tale, so deal with it!
And well about 'her' man, they weren't really together. It just happened that they lived in the same house. What a coincidence.
But you could argue that a certain attraction towards each other was undeniable.
Anyway, the woman, her name was Megan, was a kind-hearted person with to big passions: the first was to bake and the second to care for others.
One day her good friend Artemis called for her help.
"Whats up?" Megan asked worried.
"Man, I just need to get laid..."
