To withstand any storm
It may bend
Sometimes to the point
Where it looks like it may break
But we'll still be together
To traverse every divide
Still side by side
Whether it is blood
Or the words of a promise
We are always together
Regardless of the differences
Setting us apart
We're still connected
Always hand in hand
So, dear brother,
Let us venture together
Through the unknown

1. When the teacher calls on you to answer a question, answer in a low tone, Ill never tell
2. When forced to type up an essay or project, put the whole thing in one of those whacky fonts (the ones that are all symbols and the sort) then act confused when your teacher can't understand it.
3. When you have a 2000 word essay due, hand in two pictures related to the topic. After all, a picture is worth a thousand words, right?
4. Raise your hand, and when the teacher calls on you, ask where babies come from in a childish voice.
5. Raise your hand and ask to go to the nurse and say, "I SEE DEAD PEOPLE."
6. Change seats every time the teacher turns his/her back.
7. Sing your questions to the class.
8. Page through the textbook scratching each picture and sniffing it.
9. Address the teacher as "your honor".

Snow Day Snow Day: Rise of the GuardiansSnow Day2 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
"Snow day! Wooooooooo!" yelled a certain white haired Guardian as he pranced throughout his precious three and a half feet of snow that shimmered with a winter sun's dim rays. He yelled out excitedly, hands and arms raised up enthusiastically. Jack Frost looked around eagerly while speaking to Baby Tooth. The mini Tooth Fairy had stuck with him ever since the day he saved her from Pitch.
"Have you seen Jamie around, by any chance?" Jack asked with a tiny smirk.
The small hummingbird like fairy shook a head with a little squeak that followed.
"Come on!" Jack said, placing his small friend on his shoulder. "I'm surprised I haven't seen him out playing yet. Let's go find him!"
The Guardian then glided through the frosty winds with his curved staff, causing commotion on his way towards Jamie's house.
When he reached the boy's windowsill, he peeked very slyly inside.
Inside there lay a sleeping little boy, sheets covered over face and all.

Pitch galloped through the White forest on one of his many NightMares, his brow furrowed in worry. It had been nearly 45 minutes; Snow should be done with Jack by now. Had she been injured by him, or captured? He had left her alone only because he knew that Jack wouldn’t have the guts to hurt her, even though it wasn’t really her anymore. He would have gone harder on him then her. And besides, he needed to go and grab something from his lair. But was Frost tougher than he thought?
Pitch could see the clearing up ahead, and he yanked on the reins until the NightMare stopped. The horse whinnied in protest but halted, and Pitch dismounted into the deep snow.
The effort made his muscles ache. He was so fatigued from having to keep Snow under his control. It had been hard enough to get her to give in to the nightmare sand. But now he had to beat down her soul every minute so she would stay under the influence of the sand, but her willpower was much stronger t
The Young Master's Monologue (Ciel Phantomhive)I often wonder; what would have happened if Sebastian didn’t come? If there was no such thing as demons, who make contracts with mortals and fulfil their wishes, purely out of greed and lust for their eternal souls? I would most likely still be there. Trapped. Given less freedom than a defiant dog. A toy at the hands of monsters. No one ever escaped. I may even have been dead by now. But he came. A black swirl of sin came to my aid. I make it sound as if he was my saviour, but he was nothing more than a starting point. A mere pawn. Regardless, he is also my knight upon the chessboard. A knight with extra powers that go against the rules. That is to say, if life were chess. But it is not. We make our own rules, in order to push ourselves further and further up the ladder of life - in order to accomplish our goals. If you’re weak, the game of life may defeat you, and you’ll become the fallen king. The opposition will win, and you have lost. "Adam," she said urgently, shaking his shoulder. "Commander. Adam, can you hear me?"
He blinked, his eyes clearing a bit to look up at her. A half-smile touched his lips. "Hello, Lady," he said faintly.
She forced a smile in return. "Hey." Her hand tightened a little on his arm as he tried to puch himself up. "Don't try to move. Just rest, or you'll strain yourself."
He examined her with far-away eyes, taking in her face as if he was really seeing her for the first time. "I don't think I've ever told you that you're beautiful, have I?"
Her heart skipped a beat and she shook her head. "Shh," she whispered. "You're hurt. Just stay still. There'll be others here soon. They'll help."
"You know, I always kept meaning to tell you I love you," he said. "I guess I just...never found the time." His eyes closed. "Never found t

Bide the Wiccan law ye must
In perfect love and perfect trust
Live and let live-
Fairly take and fairly give
Cast the Circle thrice about
To keep all evil spirits out
To bind the spell every time
Let the spell be spake in rhyme
Soft of eye and light of touch-
Speak little, listen much
Deosil go by the waxing Moon
Sing and dance the Wiccan Rune
Widdershins go when the Moon doth wane
And the Werewolf howls by the dreaded Wolfsbane
When the Ladys Moon is new
Kiss the hand to her times two
When the Moon rides at her peak
Then your hearts desire seek

A hauntingly beautiful voice rang through the forest.
Animals lifted their heads and sniffed the air, running towards the sound. Birds tweeted and chirped in response before following the animals. All rushed forth to surround the fair, blonde maiden strolling among the trees.
Briar Rose looked at them all, smiling sweetly.
"Hello everyone." She said gently before continuing to walk along, humming to herself.
The animals were her greatest friends... her only ones in fact.
It wasn't easy living in the forest, especially when you're nearly always alone. Oh she had her aunts. Aunt Flora, Aunt Fauna and Aunt Merryweather. They had taken care of her ever since she was a baby and she loved them all deeply but it wasn't the same as having real friends. If it weren't for the animals she would have surely gone mad.
It was no wonder she dreamed so much.
Her dreams... her dreams of happiness... and of her handsome prince...
"But it's only a dream." She murmured sadly to herself.

HopeAfter becoming a Guardian, it was a whole generation of children that believed in me. It became harder and harder for me to walk down the street going unnoticed. North always told me not to make too many snow days though... The children apparently needed a "sufficient amount of education" according to him...Snow days apparently took away from that education.
Because of what he told me, I made even more snow days than I ever had before! I mean, come on! I was the Guardian of Fun and school was not fun.
Anyways, the kids were actually believing in me, as overwhelming as it was.
I didn't like playing favorites or anything-but, there was always one light that outshined them all.
He had been the first kid to believe in me. Jamie.
He had seen me several times. I visited him when he was young, but he as soon as he started growing up I stopped out of

At first it was just her that he had loved.
She had long brown hair that would always sparkle so beautifully when she was by her oceans. She had a double curl at the end of her long ponytail.
She had eyes that would sparkle like green gems in the sun.
This of course was Ancient Greece.
Turkey was just a teen when he had started to visit her more frequently.
He would come over and she would play and teach him things.
All sorts of things.
So many things that even Turkey lost count.
For a while his superiors didn't allow him to leave for a year and had him stay and help plan the future Ottoman Empire.
Then one day; when he got a chance to sneak away Turkey had left to go and visit her (to continue lessons) when he arrived he had heard her shrieking. (Turkey was an older teen around 16 years)
This memory would play through his head like a little clip from a movie.
He had run up to the house door (The nice pretty white house with a blue roof) opened it and ra

The darkness seemed almost nice. No pain. No worries. Just the silence of peace. Your mind drifted in the unfeeling abyss of quiet. Not even the white of cold snow was around you like it had been your whole life. As long as you could remember, you had always been cold. But here, it felt like you were flying or floating.
"Did I die?" You wondered. "Did Tartar kill me?" You had expected as much, you were a normal human. He was a nation. Or whatever you wanted to call him and Ivan. You knew all about it Ivan had long told you.
"I think I did." You decided. "There's no way I could have survived a fight against Tartar." You felt a bit of sadness come over you. The blackness around you suddenly seemed lonely. You looked down at your hands to find that you couldn't see them. Or feel that they were there. You knew you were crying but you couldn't feel it. Heck you weren't aware that you even had eyes. Or a body. Was this what being a spirit felt like? Nothing

Rain is a peculiar thing - and so are you.
As the ground becomes a panoramic sponge and the world becomes a shallow sea, you shower in baking powder, only to have it wash away and leave streaks upon your face. this is a losing battle with Mother Nature; she knows your game-plan. She may wear spectacles with lenses miles thick; but she can see you with perfect precision and pluck you from the cloud you have not-so-gracefully fought to reach.
Your sling-backs do not provide much traction upon that cloud, do they? Water vapor is harder to walk on every day; surely one day you will ge tthe hang of it and show your superiority. But be careful. Your face is still running - running away.
Your prison is a white-collar resort, where guards and convicts drink Mai-Tais and show faux pity for the poor boy with no pants. His feet are scabbed over and his hair is nappy and matted; yet his smile can power a small country. This is freedom.

Its pages torn
Scattered like leaves on the autumn floor
They are trampled past, ignored, trodden on each day
Left upon the morning floor
In slow insignificant decay
When opened it reveals nothing
But emptiness, loneliness, reflected grief
Sorrows that can't be forgotten
Memories of before
Memories that should have been forgotten
Blocked out of my disturbed novel
Yet I still remember the time
When out pages entwined
Our words mixed together
Our lyrics seemingly one
We both sung the same song
To the same never-ending beat
But you erased my memory
Like a miss-spelt word,
Or wrong sentence
And as I watched you leave
That page fell to the floor
Along with your memory
Did I ever exist?
The book is now returned
Placed back on its shelf
Left to gather dust
'Til the next page comes along
Another page to rip
Another chapter to endure
Another short story of me
Read through to the last story
The one that shows the end
The final chapter, last full stop

You play too much Ace Combat? You play too much Ace Combat?7 years ago in Humor More Like This
After a research made trough different forums and website dealing with the gaming subject "Ace Combat"... we found out that this game can cause a serious change in a persons personality and behaviour. This happens often because the players of Ace Combat are often to addicted to that game.
You play too much Ace Combat when:
-You downloaded from the internet all the soundtracks from Ace Combat... including the one of Ace Combat Advance and even the ripoff soundtrack from AC6 demo.
-When a friend of yours convinces you to do something, you reply "Let's do this Garuda 1!".
-You pick a favourite country of AC world according to your own nationality; USA=Osea, Germany=Belka, Russia=Yuktobania, etc.
-You don't find an AC nation comparable to your country, you create your own new country in AC world and you make a whole new Ace Combat version.
-When you're on the shower or bored you normaly whistle, but you whistle AC5 and AC6 main themes.
-You're counting the days until the Circum-Pacific War

From within this prison, I can hear my rotten flesh squelching, sometimes bone cracking, mixing with the sound of the servos in my robotic skeleton whirring. I feel moisture flowing from my eyes, my real eyes, or rather, what remains of them, and it is totally impossible for me to tell what is blood, what is pus and what is tears.
I want to scream, I want to scream so much, but my lungs have decayed and my throat is totally congested with bodily fluids. I want to go home and see my mom again, and have her tuck me into bed and sing me a lullaby so I can sleep, but she would never accept me, s
