Since Tony was a kid, Captain America have been present in his life.
He had grew up hearing stories about him, told by his dad every night before bedtime. Howard was gesticulating vividly, eyes sparkling as he was telling tales of the brave soldier.
And Tony loved Steve, in this sincere, sweet way kids are only capable of.
When Tony was growing up the bedtime stories had stopped.
Now, Tony was running through the corridors, swinging Captain's America shield, laughing happily as Howard was running after him, pretending to be Red Skull.
When he was a teen, all Captain America merchandise was pushed into the far corner of his room.
He hated Captain America.
He hated the disapproving looks his dad always gave him each time Tony messed up something.
He hated the father-to-son talks Howard gave him, each time pinpointing Captain America as a role model.
Tony didn't understand how come his dad had all this time to talk about some fallen hero, instead

"What are you doing?"
Tony leaned himself on Steve's back, looking through his shoulder. He had to stand on his toes to do that, and Steve smiled slightly feeling his husband's weight on him.
"Isn't it obvious? Chopping carrots," Steve answered calmly, not stopping his task.
"What for? I thought that we are eating out today," Tony said calmly, reaching his hand for a piece of carrot, throwing it in his mouth. Steve craned his neck to look at him.
"You think? And where would you like to eat?"
"Burger King," Tony grinned, making Steve give him a petulant look.
"Tony, he is no longer a small kid from a small town, who you can impress with taking to Burger King. Besides, that's probably what he eats all the time now, home cooked meal will be so much better," Steve explained, going back to chopping, seeing Tony snatch another piece of carrot.
"Peter wants to go to Burger King," Tony answered, chewing, moving away from Steve, "hey Pete!!" he called, going in the living room's

1. Morning - Give him medicine,
"Tony, time for your syrup."
Tony glared from his tablet, eyeing Steve who calmly walked over to the bed. He opened the nightstand and took a bottle with homemade syrup, the one his mom used to make him, together with a spoon. He wasn't surprised when he looked at his boyfriend who already clamped hands over his mouth, and kept glaring.
"Don't make it harder for both of us.." Steve warned, sitting on the edge of the bed, turning himself to Tony, pouring some syrup on the spoon. Brunet just glared more.
"Okay, if you take your syrup I will give you some ice cream," Steve bargained.
Tony shook his head.
"No? Then.. I will let you lick the ice cream off of my body," he tried again.
Tony's eyes turned a little bit darker at that, but in the end he still shook his head. Steve huffed.
"Alright, mister.." he started, "if you won't take your syrup this instance, I'm calling Pepper."
Tony just rolled his eyes. Why everyone always thought that he was

Steve was sitting on the couch, mouth hanging open. Okay, he probably looked really stupid right now. Luckily no one was around to see it. He shook his head, trying to clear it.
He just saw a commercial of Disneyland in California.
And he wanted to go there.
Okay, he was a grown up man and maybe it was embarrassing, but he wanted. Badly.
Everything seemed so colorful, people were cheerful. It was just.. Magical. Yes, it was an accurate word. Magical.
Suddenly Steve wanted nothing more than go there. And he was sure that if he would ask Tony, they go, after a lot of mocking from brunet's side, of course. But he was embarrassed to ask. Again, he was an adult. A soldier, Captain. With a heavy heart he admitted to himself that he would never see Disneyland.
Steve started gently. Trying to give Tony small hints. So when one day, Tony walked into the living room and saw his boyfriend watching a Mickey Mouse cartoon, a black and white, with terrible animation, on

I'm being framed for crimes I didn't commit. Is it possible to prove my alibi?
Sherlock stared at the short, simple message. Since he’d tangled with Moriarty at the pool, he’d known the man was nearly as masterful an actor as he was himself. But when the story came out that a Richard Brook had been hired by Sherlock himself to stage crimes, Sherlock couldn’t help the admiration he felt. But this, this was new. This wasn’t what he’d expected in what were rapidly becoming the closing gambits of their game.
Feeling an overwhelming urge to just delete the message and forget about it, Sherlock’s finger hovered over the delete button. It would be so simple, so easy to just pretend he’d never gotten the message. But it was a puzzle, it was brilliantly new and Sherlock could never turn down something so fascinating. He saved the message, setting one of the little programs on his computer to tracking down it’s
Incantations and Deductions Chapter TwelveThe expression of shocked surprise on Sherlock's face would almost be comical if John felt anything like laughing. Someone died after jumping from John's window: of course Sherlock would want to check out the room. "John." Sherlock begins and then seems to just stop.
John rolls his eyes. "It's alright, I know why you're here, I'm not going to bother you, just wanted to make sure you didn't do any weird experiments on my stuff."
Sherlock just nods, seemingly nervous. He doesn't move; it's as if his feet are rooted to the rug he's standing on.
"Aren't you going to get on with it, then?" John asks. He knows his tone is blunt, and if he's honest, verging on rude, but he's not the one who has just broken into someone else's room. It seems especially egregious after nine months of no contact between the two of them.
"Well, I-" Sherlock starts again and then breaks off his eyes darting up
NightmaresThe time first he had the nightmare, he was alone. Laying in his cot, breathing hard and trembling in the aftershock of the dream, he wondered what he had done to have the memory of the chariot coming toward him and the pain of it colliding with him crashing back into his head when he had just began to forget about it. Breathing out a long, shaky sigh, he rearranged himself and mentally prepared himself for a long, sleepless night.Nightmares4 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
The second time he had the nightmare, Esca was still new to him. He had woken up with a small cry, drenched in a cold sweat and his body racked with trembles. He tried to stay quiet, as to not wake Esca. His attempts were in vain, for a moment later he heard the slave rustling in his cot on the floor. Still trying hard to calm himself and appear asleep, he jumped when he felt a hand on his shoulder. Opening one eye just enough to see ahead of him, he was thoroughly surprised to see Esca kneeling in front of his cot, eyes filled with concern as he murmured wo

Steve looked up from his newspaper at the peculiar sound. It reminded him of a sound of the wind mixed with an owl's hoot. A quick smile appeared on soldier face when he located the source of it - in the middle of the spacious living room was his and Tony's 5 year old son. The little boy was covered in a white sheet with cut out holes for his eyes and was waving his arms, moving the material.
Steve gasped theatrically, letting go of the newspaper to put a hand to his heart. "Tony! Tony! There is a ghost in the living room!!" he called in fake horror.
The ghost giggled and took off his disguise. "Papa, it's me!" Peter squeaked happily, delighted that his costume was a success.
"Peter!" Steve stayed in the character of a frightened parent. "You nearly gave me a heart attack!"
Peter's brown eyes got really wide after Steve's words. "No no no," he whined, running to Steve, climbing on his lap. "I'm sorry, papa!" he apologized honestly, snuggling close to the soldier. Steve c

A round, full moon silhouetted his crouching form on the roof, a slight breeze ruffling crimson hair. A single person was running through Gaaras head, infuriating him beyond reason.
He absently rubbed his cracked skull some more, dark rimmed eyes narrowed to mere slits.
If that idiot was right, and they really were the same, what had he gotten? Why had that moron been blessed with love? Why not him, he deserved it!
He bared slightly pointed teeth, the sand becoming more and more restless, hitting the clay sides loudly.
His uncle flashed in his mind once again.
You are a very special person to me, Gaara.
Sand started leaking out of the top, gathering around his ankles
Sherlock: Halloween Gone Wrong (Halloween Special)Sherlock Holmes was visibly annoyed. Very annoyed. Lestrade had called him at 10 o’clock at night to investigate a strange house. Sherlock was in the middle of celebrating Halloween with John and Mrs Hudson; then dressing up as The Creature from Frankenstein and then scare all of the children who came knocking on his door. Instead, he and John had to be dragged to an abandoned building on the outskirts of London. And for further aggravation, Lestrade hadn’t been bothered to meet them there. Basically a one-shot about England and America going on a date to a carnival with an unexpected (but hardly surprising) outcome.
Intensely decorated game booths and clowns dressed in outrageous clothes covered the grounds before his eyes with such a flare of colour that he found it difficult to differentiate between the two, high pitched squeals of delight emitted from the mouths of ecstatic children rang loudly in his ears, and the revoltingly sweet scent of buttery popcorn and sugary candy floss practically violated his nose.

Hours had passed by as though they were only mere minutes as the three of you sat in the cold laboratory of St Bart’s, and yet as every hour passed by nothing had really changed. John was sat across from you at the workbench with his head resting on his folded arms, he had dozed off within the first half of an hour after you three had arrived. Sherlock had moved from sitting at one of the workbenches to the floor, bouncing a rubber ball against the floor that then hit off one of the cupboards before bouncing back to him. He constantly repeated the movement, making the thuds of the rubber ball’s impact against the surfaces echo throughout the silent lab.
Even though Sherlock had told you that no matter what he would try to keep you all safe, something deep inside your mind kept telling you differently. However way you thought about it, you couldn’t figure out just what Moriarty’s next act would be and what the consequences would be, yet your head knew that this w

"What's that?" Tony narrowed his eyes.

There weren't many other people in the courtyard. Sirius found himself exceptionally bored, but James had asked him to wait there. Sirius let out a loud sigh.

He just wanted to smack him right in that great giant nose of his. As Snape walked by him, Sirius gave a flick of his wand, and Snape tripped and fell to the ground.
