From a distant star you traveled,
far across the Milky Way.
Humanity felt imperiled,
but peace was the Vulcan way.
We never could understand you,
that face without expression.
Thus you suffered so many fools,
and taught us all a lesson.
The differences that separate,
move some to hate and revile.
But the bond made came not too late,
we loved you, if for a while.
Now we thank you for your wisdom,
we'll never forget your name.
Eclectic will be the kingdom,
may the flame always remain.

Nine little tributes hiding in wait,

Eight little tributes wishing for heaven,
A jewel was stung harshly and then there were seven.
Seven little tributes, victims to tricks,
The blamed was soon punished and then there were six.
Six little tributes yearn to survive,
One speared a songbird and then there were five.
Five little tributes witnessing gore,
One gained revenge and then there were four.
Four little tributes, to a feast they all flee,
A flower bud withered and then there were three.
Three little tributes with a secret one knew,
A fox swiped some berries and then there were two.
Two little tributes delay in the sun,
Wolves found a target and then there was one.
One little tribute, relieved she had won,
Returned back home and then there were none.

A fight between Fenris and Anders, over the woman they both care for deeply.
F!Hawke/Fenris, F!Hawke/Anders. Starts out with the scene with Fenris leaving, leads into some in-game dialogue, and then I take over. Enjoy.
Disclaimer: Fenris, Anders, the original design of Hawke, and Dragon Age II belong to Bioware and EA. I just like to play with them.
Fenris stood by the mantle, fully clothed. He had one arm up against the marble molding as he stared into the cheerful flames. His skin was tingling, still, from her touch, her kisses, but his mind ached the most. A pounding laid deep in his skull, thumping harder and harder with each second as he fought to recall, to remember

She hides them all the time
To avoid the judging stares
She wrote one yesterday
About a boy who said he loved her
But to her own dismay
She caught him with another
She wrote one about school
And the words painted on her locker
“No one likes you, stupid bitch.
You’re lucky I’m at soccer.”
She wrote about her parents
And how she wished they were together
But she knows that won’t ever happen
And forgetting’s probably better
Yes, she writes such lovely poems
But there’s so much more to this
See, her pencil is a razor

She sits on a park bench with Jet and Droy.
"It's because he doesn't care of Fairy Tail at all" Jet says.
"Yeah. I can even see the day when he totally destroys Fairy Tail" Droy continues.
"Levy, forget him. He doesn't deserve any good treatment."
"But...he looked so lonely" Levy says. "I wonder what he is doing right now?"
"Probably planning to destroy us" Jet answers, rises from the bench and walks away.
"Please Levy, this is only for your own good. Forget him."
"Gajeel...if I don't remember him, then who?" Levy sighs again and watches the clouds.
In Fairy Tail:
"Natsu, you probably know what happens next?" Gajeel boasts.
"Hm? Gajeel! You're back? What the hell, what took you so long?" Natsu exclaims.
"None of your business" Gajeel answers. "Salamander...I'm not in good mood now..."
"What!? What I have done again?" Natsu wonders and raises his fists.
Moment of silence.

I Can't Lose You AgainOne of the things Levy loved, besides a good book, was taking a hot shower. It was the best way to relax after a mission, or, in Levy's case, after cleaning the bathroom that hadn't been used in seven years. Sure it felt like no time had passed for her, but the signs of age were everywhere in her apartment at Fairy Hills.I Can't Lose You Again4 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
Instead of worrying about her dusty books though, Levy turned her attention onto the hot water coming from her shower head. She felt like she was in heaven. Since there hadn't been a bath on the boat home, this was her first hot shower in a long time. After all those battles during the S-Class exam, they had all looked rough around the edges. Especially Gajeel , she thought. They hadn't talked much on the boat ride home from the island, even though Levy had a million questions to ask the Iron Dragonslayer. She had been worried for him on the island and had constantly been at his side, taking care of him. But on the boat, he had just ignored her. She didn't

Jerk. Imbecile. Stupid. Ass. Fool. Bastard. Idiot. Dummy. All these words add up to what in her opinion? BAKA!
Levy sprinted through the cold, pouring rain, not caring if her cute lacey top or flashy skirt got drenched. As long as she got away from him! Salty tears mixed with clear droplets down her cheeks as she cried and sobbed through the cobbled streets of Magonlia Town.
Mere minutes ago, she had confessed to her one crush and (possibly?) first real love, Gajeel Redfox. Kurgone. Iron Dragonslayer. Child of Metalicana.
During a celebration (later turned all out rumble), Levy decided to team up with the Dragonslayer against her good friend Lucy and Natsu for the brawl. As expected, Natsu burst into flames, Gajeel changed into a walking Ironman and Lucy whipped out her keys for a vocab beat down with Levy.
It was pure luck that Gajeel and her came out on top. As her iron pierced partner's skin turned normal again, she was picked up by her waist and whirled around to celebra

There were already three long rows of many guitarists.
"We're late" Tom mumbled to himself joining the third line. Bryan stood before him.
"I guess we have to wait the whole day" Bryan whispered looking back at Tom. Tom nodded.
"Till then you can tell me about the band" Tom whispered to Bryan.
"Sure, sure. They're three in numbers; Bill, the vocalist; Georg, the bassist and Gustav, the drummer. Bill has a unique look. Georg has coffee blonde long hair and Gustav looks all simple but he plays drum so well" Bryan explained the whole band in a shortcut. Tom nodded as if he got it. Though he had no idea how different the vocalist was. The boys waited for their tags to be stuck on their clothes. The heat was too much even on their manly rough skin. Bryan felt himself sweating so much. Tom was standing exactly under a shed. So he was quite cool. He kept looking around. All of a sudden his eyes flickered at the second row. There were three beautiful girls right next to him. He smirk

Everyone loves her.
Clear white skin.
Sporty, long blonde curls,

Confident, loves her true love.
Everything is easy for her.

Tripping on the stair,
I can remember dressing in pink,
Trying to please everyone.
Because I needed to be that girl.
The devil refused my soul.

Probably it was because of noise makers were on a job. He sighed. "Bored?" asked Levy. "How it looks like?" he asked. "I'm bored too. Jet and Droy is working on something else." said Levy, sitting in front of him. "So you are going to spend your time with me, shrimp?" asked Gajeel, smirking.

"Just curious." said Levy. "None of your business." said Gajeel and drank his beer again. "I think you're 19." said Levy. "Who knows?" said Gajeel, grinning.

When Gajeel first came to, he smelt wet salt in the air. She had been crying. Vaguely he could remember her broken voice crying out for him to hang in there. Silly girl. Like he would really die after using his strongest attack. A little desperate but not exactly on the level of suicide.
The second time, he smelled the musky odor of her sweat. He wasn't disgusted but actually concerned. After their brief time training, he knew it'd take a bit of movement to actually get her tired. Clearly dragging his unconscious ass around was taking a toll on her. Weren't they there yet?
The third time, he actually felt more alert since the smell of her fear was ripe in the air. Shit. Grimoire Heart must of arrived if she was this anxious. He could vaguely hear voices from behind them, and they weren't moving. They must be hiding somewhere. He wanted to ask what was going on but his tired mind pulled him back to darkness.

Gajeel was reaching for another candy bar to add to his small basket of munchies when a presence loomed over his left shoulder. Whirling around in the small supermarket aisle, he came face to face with an older version of himself. Metalicana smirked as he dropped a 16 oz. package of yeast into his son's basket. His old man loved making his own brew of whiskey at home.
"What are you doing here?" Gajeel gruffly asked as he pushed past his dad to head towards the checkout stands. Or in the young man's case, a certain stand number eight.
The older of the two smirked as he stuffed his large hands into his pants pockets and marched nonchalantly after his son, "No reason, boy."
Rolling his eyes since his dad couldn't see, Gajeel knew better than to believe him. The geezer only worked hard at bugging the hell out of him when it meant it would be amusing for him and humiliating for his son. What fatherly love...

The waste land behind the fire station is always silent. No birds sing there, and even the wild rabbits and feral cats avoid it. Weedy wildflowers nod their seasonal heads in the breeze. Lying fallow in the midst of housing developments, shopping malls, the new movie theater — the vacant lot stands out like a knife wound on a woman’s placid face, shocking, brazen, ugly.
It is always empty. Except for one thing: a ragged heap of old trash, all nasty black tar paper and vicious snarls of rusted wire, car parts and broken glass and other junkyard jetsam. The embodiment of injury waiting to happen, an invitation to a tetanus shot... the city never hauled it away. No one ever wants anywhere near it; it radiates an eerie sense of calculating watchfulness.
And at night, it wanders.

He entered Master Makarov's room some time after Laxus left the guild. His bandaged limbs combined with a crutch did little to let him stand properly (much less climb a flight of stairs) but he ignored the ache they gave. It was his thoughts that made him feel really restless and he came here to figure them out.
The master had lied down on his bed again. Surely banishing a family member who he loved so strongly but hurt him so deeply was very exhausting and painful. After the silence between them stretched on and on, Makarov inhaled and then exhaled slowly. The old midget was ever patient.
"You are troubled, my boy."
Gajeel looked away and shifted off his bandaged foot when he unconsciously put weight on it.
"The girl, Levy. Why doesn't she hate me?"
The elderly man opened one eye and looked over at the Dragon Slayer, "I think you did something to convince her to forgive you. Considering what you have done, it is not something just anyone can do. I still won't forgive you."

These particular books had been long forgotten amongst the havoc of her other collections, and she couldn't even remembering receiving them; much less how she moved them. Their leather covers busted with thousands of pages each, and each looked frighteningly fragile. She would have preferred to carry several at a time to quicken the work, but with her small stature only a humiliating few at a time would be possible.
She was so uselessly small.
Burying her self-pity, Levy reached for the topmost book that perched well above her head. Her fingertips barely brushed the cover, and so she stretched higher still; standing on her tip toes to do so. Triumphantly, she wrapped her hand around the novel and began to slide it away from the pile, only to be met with a sur

Sitting in a dark corner on the second floor of Fairy Tail with only a window for light sat Gajeel Redfox. His legs were bent from having been sitting on the hardwood paneling with his mighty arms propped across his knee caps to hold the little four hundred page paperback comfortably. His eyes were staring an intense laser of concentration down at the pages in front of him as he leafed over half way through the novel due to the enchanted lenses he wore. The seriousness of his face as he read so strongly was both sexy, adorable and cute all at the same time! Still it was ultimately too cute. Way too cute. The gown she wore, though not cut in the latest fashion, was a rich emerald green that complimented her fair skin and rich brown curls. The skirt was full, the silk flaring slightly at the hips and reaching to the floor where the hem was stitched in an ornate pattern of golden ivy. The stitching continued up the skirt to the bodice, wrapping around it in a way that complimented her narrow waist.
The bodice was cut lower than the style that Beth was used to and was trimmed in black lace, and Beth couldn't help but feel self conscious about the amount of cleavage that it revealed. Yet Fiona assured her that it was not at all inappropriate, that it barely revealed anything at all, which relieved Beth somewhat.
