And what's worse? There's three of them in total, not just one, zooming down the road towards the house right now.
I told Kelly to take them back to the airport and leave them where she found them. She wouldn't listen to me.

- Metrocon! Which was amazing. Another fantastic year where we met some fantastic people! Will we be back next year? Honestly, we cannot say. We're not sure we can continue to afford the flight costs, so it's up in the air right now.
- Abunaicon! Dutch people are crazy. Nuff said. <3
- Alcon! Another amazing weekend! We were kinda zoned out for some of it, due to the fact we were so close to getting our house... but still an amazingly fun event.
- HOUSE! Which we have. And despite the boiler problems, everything is now finally going smoothly thanks to you guys!
- JCon! Our first time at this event, and damn it was fun! Definitely worth doing, and hopefully we'll be back next year!
So... yeah. It's been kinda busy to say the least!

After AbunaiconWhat a weekend. After Abunaicon3 years ago in Personal More Like This
Kelly and I are finally back home after a very early flight back to London. I have to say, it was all worth it.
Abunaicon was truly fantastic! It was great meeting some of our followers from the Netherlands and pretty much everyone we met was just lovely!
It was a great test run for Gambit (my sclera contacts arrive tomorrow!!) and I've now decided to make a Human!Wheatley cosplay. Ha ha! It will be fun to be an idiotic character again.
Highlights of Abunaicon:
*Judging the Eurocosplay.
*Being chased by Batman.
*Creating world domination plans with the Joker and Harley while dressed as Loki.
*Invading panels and generally being mental.
*Killing Coulson over and over and over and OVER again!
*Squaring off to a certain Hawkeye everytime I saw her.
*ALL THE DESSERTS!!!
*Being told by four people that I look like Tom Hiddleston.
Twas an AMAZING weekend just so tiring. Phew! I really hope we can come back next year and share in all the fun. Now to plan for Alcon!

Tutorial: Cosplay Boy Make-up ISo, this is the first part of the "Cosplay boy make-up" tutorial. It has way too much text and pictures to put it into just one journal, so I will divide it.Tutorial: Cosplay Boy Make-up I2 years ago in Personal More Like This
As always~ English is not my native language so you might come across mistakes. My apologies! If anything is unclear feel free to ask me in the comments.
I'm just showing you what works for me and what's my personal liking. I'm focusing on eye make-up and additional tips. If you think this way of doing a boys cosplay make-up is is using way too much make-up that's totally fine. Everyone has his/her own preferences and this tutorial is just a hint who it can be done.
The shape of eyes differ a lot from one to another, so if you want to try it the way I do my make-up you might have to adjust it to your own eyes. Maybe you have already run into this problem before while seeing a well done eye make-up in a tutorial or worn by an asian cosplayer. Furthermore be aware of the fact that the shape of your eyebrows, wearing c
moving to tumblr soon...Hey guys, I'm sorry for my lack of posts and constant apologies. I realize that deviantArt is not really my kind of community tbh. This place is really for young teens into anime and shit and Sakimichan to live on the front page for all eternity. I wanna move to tumblr because I get recognition very quickly and easily through people reblogging my art and I spend most of my time there anyway. I know I have an account already, but I think I'm just gonna make a separate account for my art and leave it there. DeviantArt is almost like an annoying nag in the back of my head and I wanna move on. Tumblr's community is also full of shit, but the art side isn't too bad. I keep losing followers on my main blog because I reblog a lot of gore and nsfw shit, and I'm too lazy to tag them or I forget, so I'll just make an art blog for the ones who just wanna see my art. It will be easier as well to organize my FAQ and shit because my main blog is meant for the aesthetics and not so much written portimoving to tumblr soon...1 year ago in Personal More Like This

Creative Week: Giveaway + IntroductionWhat is Creative Week?Creative Week: Giveaway + Introduction2 years ago in Deviant Events More Like This
Every year, I take a week away from my job to do nothing but photoshoots, in order to challenge myself and improve my skills as a photographer. Despite working for the best company in the world, my career is not in photography. This sometimes makes it difficult to find the right kind of time and inspiration to capture what I want. My annual 'Creative Week,' is a way for me to do what I love without the worry of heading into work the next day. I can focus on my creativity, and nothing more. Every year I make sure to up the ante, and this year I'll be working with a lot more talent than I have in the past, on bigger productions.
This is my third Creative Week, and similar to those in the past, I will be partnering with the wonderful Miki Sarroca (WingedInfinity). She will be serving as a make up artist, model, and she's done an incredible job of assisting me with organizing these shoots.
What a monthIt's now 3am on the 1st of August which means, at least for myself, my deviousness month has now ended. And I have one word to sum it up 'wow'.What a month2 years ago in Personal More Like This
It's hard to put it into words how special this month has been. I've had so many amazing messages fill my inbox, each one proving to myself that every minute I've devoted to deviantART has been worth it. It's easy to lose perspective on the community and think that your hard work often goes to waste and it has been touching to see just how many people have enjoyed what I do. It's a great boost to my confidence and inspires me to keep going and finding new ways to support the community.
I feel very fortunate to have had this experience and I know it will stick with me in the future, through both the high and low points. However, I know there are also many more awesome deviants out there who work tirelessly to support this community. So please, take 5 minutes out of your day to put a smile on someone's face. Go find a community bas
Free! Iwatobi Swim Club cosplay shoot outtakes! When my friends and I first heard of "that swimming anime" called Free!, this is pretty much what we expected:Free! Iwatobi Swim Club cosplay shoot outtakes!2 years ago in Personal More Like This
Not that there's anything wrong with that hahah, but all we were expecting was to be able to laugh at how exploitable and full of fanservice this show could be because swimming would require everyone to be half-naked. Although it started out that way, the more episodes we watched, the more we realized...
We were wrong. So wrong.
What we got was a heartwarming coming-of-age story with endearing characters and interesting dynamics. It spoke of friendship and learning your self-worth and figuring out what drives you forward.
I'd write more about how I feel about it but it would take up too much time and space over here, so here are a couple of posts that have already done the job well:
1. A detailed literary analysis and trope driven deconstruction of H

PE: The Hardest Thing About Suggesting DDs The Hardest Thing about Suggesting DDsPE: The Hardest Thing About Suggesting DDs2 years ago in Art Features More Like This
Today, we are going to talk about the hard things about suggesting DDs! For those who are beginner DD Suggesters, you will need various tips and advice to make sure you can truly understand the DD Suggestion process and the hard parts!
Knowing who to suggest to
Every deviation has their own category as always. So there are different CVs you have to suggest to. And yet if you don't know which CVs to suggest to you can look here The Community Relations Team or here :faq18:. QUICK NOTE Some CVs don't feature DDs!
Reading the CVs Guidelines
Every CV has their own guidelines. You need to read them then understand what they look for. But at the same time, you sometimes don't know what they look for as a DD. Some CVs a
