While this may be amusing to many, it has become dull and tasteless to me.
Let me introduce myself to you first. My name is Emil Steilsson. I am the youngest of my four older brothers, whom I mentioned previously. My home is in Reykjavik, Iceland but right now I’m currently in Oslo, Norway visiting. Oh, and on an unrelated note, I have a pet bird named Mr. Puffin.
I look into my cup of tea and I see my own bored expression. I sigh before I take a small sip. I see Berwald look up at me out of the corner of my eye.
“Hej, Emil. Y’u l’k b’red.” (You look bored.) he says to me in his thick Swedish accent that incredibly I could understand. Everybody else looks up towards me.
“Joo, Emil. You haven’t said a single word since you got here.” Tino rema

Sam watched the jagged Miami skyline melt into the horizon as the cruise ship chased the sun towards the Bahamas. He pondered his reasons for agreeing to a seven day single’s cruise as he looked out over the sea, entranced by the seagulls hypnotic soaring.
Sam was a chiseled, hansom man with an insatiable lust for beautiful, athletic women. He had perfected an efficient process of seduction that produced perfect results and no unwanted byproducts. At first, he was in search of love, but he had quickly grown addicted to the fruit of his labor. He was in love with the lustful hunt and capture, his slain prey were merely trophies to be forgotten upon the next challenge.
The ship’s foghorn sounded, reviving Sam from his trance. He looked around the decks of the vessel, scouting for potential targets. The cruise ship was populated by a perfect one-to-one ratio of men and women, but few women were doing much to peak Sam’s interest. Sam decided to find a bar;
InfectionThey would need to call the MICE in for this one. There really was no two ways about it. When a fungal infection had gotten this large you called the MICE.Infection2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
Problem was that the MICE would want a full growing cycle of observation to make sure they had caught everything and only they could tell what a growing cycle could be. This had come up fast so chances were it wouldn't be more than a couple of days. But you could never tell.
The other problem was that the infection was blocking three lanes of roadway, heading right into the heart of the city. Rising up as a giant mound of putrescent yellow tissue. The shelf of it was taller than the average Cohm. Tarmac either side of it's base had been ripped up leaving a giant gash in the center of the road, the sidwalks on the east side were ruined.
And somehow, it had come up overnight, the fruiting body of some giant mushroom bomb. The rumour mill seemed to believe that this was a lef

For some reason, I've been thinking of how I feel about all of the official Disney Princesses in the famous Disney franchise. And I felt I wanted to express how I felt about each of them, and after gaining some inspiration from :iconjack314592:'s writing.
Now, I don't hate any of the Disney Princesses but I will rank them in the order I feel I like them. And besides, it's just my opinion.
11. Merida. A little shocking that Merida is this low isn't it? Well, before you guys go nuts, let me explain. After my hopes were set a little too high for "Brave" when it first came out, I was a bit disappointed. Then, "Brave" got the Oscar for "Best Animated Movie", which I didn't like since I felt the other animated movies I've seen in 2012 were better (*cough*Wreck-It Ralph*cough*). Then, Doug Walker reviewed "Brave" in Disneycember 2012, mentioning that Merida's character was similar to other Disney Princesses in the past. Then I came across an anti-Big Four picture that also poked fun at Merida

"The RED Spy," he said through gritted teeth, obviously in pain. He was covered in bloody bandages, mainly around his chest and arms. "He ambushed me Twilight, he took the plans"
The sentence hit her like a freight train. She looked around quickly, trying to piece it all together "No...No!"
"Dat's not the only thing he took " Scout's voice was barely audible, but he pointed to the regenerator. A large section was covered in knife marks, and was sparking wildly. "Ain't no respawnin anymore"
"How'd he get in!?"
"Don't know. Doesn't matter. It's all over," Scout said more to his hands than anyone in particular, head clasped tightly. "We're done"
Twilight looked around at the melancholy faces. They had all given up hope. Just like Scout. Even P

Watch while it destroys me.
As it wraps its hands around my throat,
my eyes are pleading...
So thrilled for you,
you and your happy ending.
Even if it means I lost my company,
and now I'm stuck here alone.
Alone in my misery.
But I wont dwell,
and I like to pretend I'm well.
So I grab my guitar and head to the ocean.
I'll stand in the sand,
and write you a love-song.
I'll sing it loud
as the waves crash over me.
Saltwater disguises the crying.
And I can make you believe,
that I am not heartbroken.
Not that it matters.
in the end it's just pain.

‘God damn it all!’
Keeping your injured hand wrapped in an oil-stained cloth, you rush back into your house, hurrying into your kitchen. Your arm lifted high, you search for the sink, small beads of red dripping from the grimed material onto the tiles. Muttering curses at yourself, fate and the giant hunk of useless metal outside, you almost trip over your own feet as you put your wounded limb in the basin, dropping the filthy rag.
‘Stupid, son-of-a-god…’ you mumbled, washing off the dried flakes of crimson, hissing at the slight prickle as the water hit the cut.
You were trying, for once, to fix your pathetic excuse of a car and ended up hurting yourself on God knows what. Grumbling furiously, you proceeded to grab the first-aid kit that was situated on top of the fridge but destiny was against you for the second time that day. The box fell from its spot, spilling its contents everywhere, the pieces clattering nosily.

Like the shattered glass shards falling upon watery tears of pain. Like the faucet that leaks repeatedly, slow echoing slams of heavy heartbeats becoming one with the surface. Clashing and smashing upon the sink with each droplet of sadness.
A lonely boat floating in the ocean of tears, my aching soul dives off the boat and becomes one with the water. There, in the debts, such beauty I cannot see. So much pain to open my eyes. Ripping aching slow torture as one lid escapes the other, revealing before me a glowing palace of hope. Burning pain pierces my heart and eyes, struggling to keep them open my lungs begin to collapse like ancient buildings so far beyond my time. I can't breathe!
I don't want to go up for air! The stinging, burning pain in my eyes of salt ocean tears rips at my flesh like the teeth of a monster. My hair waves to me like the waves of a crowd waving goodbye forever. Images peeking into my mind with painted canvases of false friendships and lost hope.

I was afraid of loving you:
rejection hurts more than a tired heart
for it squeezes all emotions from your soul,
leaving you bare against reality's blank slate -
a state of invisibility and loneliness.
I called upon my friend, Time,
to help me forget you, only you...
Yet with every passing moment,
you plague my thoughts
with your humour and wit,
and I realise that I haven't forgotten -
I haven't forgotten you.
Turns out Time betrayed me,
so I gave Distance a call
to evict you from my heart
you unknowingly lived in.
Oh, Distance tried, oh yes she did,
but you just couldn't be moved,
for you were so deeply rooted
in my garden of love for you.
I told myself it wasn't love
and I tried hard not to love you
because you clearly loved another.
And I'm sorry.

Casey watched from beside the enormous chessboard as his new acquaintance lifted up a white plastic knight the size of small child between dainty blue fingers. It came back down with an audible thud in front of her line of trashcan-sized pawns, and he glanced up as the full attention of the forty foot tall young woman shifted to him.
Taking one look at her bright green eyes, he became infected with her smile. She lay on the grass of the city park, hastily printed chessboard set out before her, legs kicked up without a care in the world. He was the only person to muster up the courage to approach her when she'd taken a seat here and asked, with a great deal of volume, for a partner. She'd explained that she'd only just learned the rules online, and wanted to play with someone for real. Rain drummed against the glass porthole that looked out from Cassandra's cell onto the gray, choppy waters of the Tymes, making for a low, steady noise underneath the thrum and bellow of the steamship's engines, further down into the vessel. The view was a few feet off of the waterline, and the murky river occasionally slapped against the thick glass, obscuring the world outside for a moment before sliding back down the hull.
The buildings and church steeples, the great bell towers of the halls of Parliament, the grand, newly built drawbridge over the broad river all rose up from the horizon and came into view out of the cloudy sky as dark silhouettes that gradually took on color and detail. It had been so long since she'd seen a rain like this; showers would occasionally travel up the shoreline, dropping a light rain as it traveled from north to south, around the mountains that stood to Kasabla's back. A drenching rain like this was ent

Cassandra touched the end of one finger to the tip of her tongue, moistening it ever so slightly, and turned the page of her novel. She sighed as the young man it described-- a handsome suitor in the prime of his life, with dark hair and a tan complexion-- leaned the lady of his interests against a tree. Their bodies pressed together in a way that, even though the author described them as mostly dressed, still brought a blush of pink to her cheeks. It was simply scandalous, she thought to herself with a shiver.
The young lady looked up and past the brim of her hat, bent down to shade the fair skin of her face from the warmth of the afternoon sun. Her maid had approached from elsewhere in the walled gardens, smiling as she always did. Skin the color of coffee and cream was half covered by long, black hair, a white scarf tied under her chin to hold its length away from her eyes. Her young figure was wrapped neatly in the

To wrap me gently
In such a wondrously beautiful embrace
Amongst the stars and angels
So I delicately ripped flight
From the butterflies surrounding my window
In the hopes they could fly me away.
I wanted to feel loved
To feel the doting heat
Of a lovers breath on my neck
And grasp on my heart
So I kissed the sun
And held it ever so gently
Against my breast till
It burned me away
And I could reminisce in its loving burn.
I wanted to be whole
Without ugly bones to trap my soul
Without a life
So desperately wanting
Everything it could never have or be
So I embraced the seas
Submerged my entirety
Letting its infinity
All that would be left of me,
Till I could only
