Tell me a story about Once upon a time
Weave to me a dream of what was never meant to be
Of fantasy and parallel realities
Sing me a song, write me a letter
Chase all the monsters away and make the good times better
Tell me about the good old days and of the times of old
It’s stuff like this that’s worth so much more than gold
Enjoying all the sunset while all the light goes like fire
Skyrocketing around like a bunch of loons
Scrabbling desperately for any escape from a situation turned dire
Hooning round underneath the fullest of moons
Dance with me in the moment, tip-toe across the eggshells
Sneaking back after a broken curfew
For if there’s moonlight to be done, and mischief to be had
Then I’d rather get into trouble with you

You sit in the corner of your friends room. Once again they had made you feel left out. To be honest they 'joked around' too much. It really hurt your feelings with the words they said but all you could do was just smile. When you went to the corner at first they didn't notice but when they did, they didn't care. Though when you didn't say anything for what seemed like a life time they finally said something.
"What are you doing reading porn?" Not the thing you really wanted to hear but at least they maybe just maybe sensed the mood but nope. You mentally facepalm for thinking they would maybe understand. Hell half of the time they couldn't even tell what you were feeling or they just ignored you. When you leave the house you walked around town.
It was a nice day. The sun was out and the snow beneath your feet was easy to walk on. As a cold breeze hits your face you cover it still walking. Since you cant see where you are going you bump into someone.
"I-I'm sorry!" You start saying as

“Can you guys just leave me ALONE?”
That is all you can remember saying to them. Your best friends. It was after school and you Antonio, Francis, and Gilbert were talking. They started talking about pretty girls around the school and this made you feel so uncomfortable.
“OOH zhe is HOOOT.” Said Gilbert loudly.
“Si, si maybe one of the prettiest girls in school too.” Said Antonio.
You walked into them commenting about the most popular girl in school, you and her didn’t get along that well. I mean she was from a rich family, always got what she wanted, and always got the guys you liked to fall in love with her. Now the guys you like, yes you like them all. The whole Bad Touch Trio as they liked to be called. They have been you best friends forever and yes you have gotten used to them talking about girls, but her? They know that you don’t like her and they know that she is a total jerk to you.

Two adolescents upon their way, before the dawn and break of day
With fates entwined, they’d yet to find, the trouble they’d cause and pay

Raise your sword up high,
There’s no time to rest tonight.
For she’d called your name
The moon is shining red,
The beasts dwell in wait,
There’s no time to lose!
O’dear knight, save me from my blight
For the war they foretold
Claws at my young bones
It eats away my land, my hope
I fear I will fail to see
the sunrise anymore,
Your grace, I pledge
with all the might in
my still beating heart!
They will not lay a foot
In these fields tonight
Their blood will be spilled
And corpses will soon litter
my beloved homeland.
My knight, my beloved fool!
They said you died…
How dare you?
You didn’t see it snow or rain
Nor saw the roses bloom
No one wipes my tears while I pray
I still call your name,
but you answer no more!
My dearest one, my knight
how am I to stop missing you?

The fading trails of airplanes
That you desperately try to catch in your hands,
The glinting shards of colorless glass reflecting the sun,
The image of the vast sky littered with clouds,
And that radiantly burning star
They all seem to shine so brightly
The fiery sky splashed with stars is burning
On this battlefield we all fight
Refusing to wave that white flag
You, they and I all run through the fire
Reaching out our hands and trying to grab
that unreachable star in the sky
No matter what, one day we'll grasp it
They told us it was impossible
They told us it didn't exist anywhere
But our dream-colored eyes weren't fazed one bit
We told them, "We know,
But thanks to it, our legs keep moving, so
One day we'll have to find it."
Through that flaming battlefield and the night
Only shedding a single, crystal tear
We keep on running
Toward that impossible thing
Toward that nonexistent thing
Because if we stop running,

Maka linked her arm through mine and smiled.
"What're you doing tonight, Soul?"
I shrugged. All I had planned for later was...huh. Nothing. As per usual. Not cool.
"Nothin' much, why?"
"I was wondering, Patty invited me to a sleepover later tonight and she said I could bring you along if you wanted to come."
I made a face. A sleepover? Really?
"I dunno, Maka, it's not really my scene..."
She gave me the puppy-dog look.
"Pweaseeee, Soul! Come onnn, you never do anything anymore!"
I cocked my head to one side. I didn't really fancy staying in the apartment by myself all night, but I didn't want to spend it in the company of a bunch of girls, either.
I looked back at Maka, she was still looking at me with big eyes.
"Finee. I'll go. Just don't expect me to paint my nails or anything like that, okay?"
"Pinky promise!" she said, holding out that finger. I linked my own around hers.
We unlinked fingers, and walked into our rooms. I really didn'

Scraped off all this rust
You bathed me in your love
The light which shines on me

So I am finally clean
You pruned the deadened leaves

Emptiness is theirs to fill
Their embrace will warm the chill
Though you search for help, you cannot see
The guardian angels that know your plea
Someday we will see them clearly
The ones that loved us so sincerely

It was silent, like it always was. Your feet were aching, like they always were. You had been walking for miles, just like you always did. Despite all of this, you didn't say a word. Life had been a lot harder since you decided to follow along Caius. You wished you could say the harder lifestyle was worth it, but in all honesty, it wasn't. Food was scarce, you couldn’t remember the last time you slept in a bed or had a real shower and above all else was Caius's growing temper. He'd become almost impossible to deal with over the last few weeks, thoughts of running away were always in your mind. You'd even tried once, but couldn't bring yourself to leave him.
The sound of his voice broke the silence and made you flinch. “Your mind seems busy today.” Caius gave you a suspicious look out of the corner of his eye. “Care to tell me what's filling your mind this .afternoon?”
“Nothing important.” You stalled, trying to find

Today at Mrs. Puff's Boating School, I received an offer to drive the large pufferfish around entire boating school course.
"I feel I'm a wonderful driver, Mrs. Puff," I said smiling as I grasped my hands on the steering wheel.
"Try not to crash, Nova," Mrs. Puff reminded me.
"Y'okay, Mrs. Puff," I winked. "I'll try not to," I added with a giggle.
I drove pretty well until I accidentally crashed into the other boatmobiles. As I crashed, Mrs. Puff swelled up larger. Then I tried to drive out but crashed again causing the pufferfish to blow up more bigger than before and then I get pressed against the boat thanks to her inflated body.
"Are youse a'ight, Mrs. Puff?" I said looking up to the inflated Mrs. Puff.
"Yes, Nova," she said. "You're not the sponge I know."
I smiled at her ballooned body and then I hugged her. She felt very soft like an inflated marshmallow.
"Yer so big," I giggled. "And very soft."
"You can always make this easy, can you?" Mrs. Puff smiled as she felt my hug.
Who Are You ???Who Are You ?Who Are You ???1 year ago in Free Verse More Like This
Easy question , but do you know the answer ???
You are the one behind the closed doors
You are the one that nobody knows
you are your secrets that no one knows
not even your family your wife or your closest friend
You are your conscience that doesn't let you sleep
You are the thoughts that take you hostage through the nights
You are the thoughts that you can't share in public
You are the dreams that you can't reach
You are the hopes that you pray for
You are the unknown person that might save the world
You are the shouts that no one hears
You are the pain that no one feels
You are your deeds in both sides of a coin
You are the song that you sing alone
You are the breath in every cigarette smoke that you blow
You are the pen and the words on your dusty papers
You are ....
You are ... Me .

"Firstly, there is no such thing. Secondly, I couldn't be bothered to cook, I think a clean house is life being wasted, I procrastinate like its a job to do just that and I am a firm advocate of the fact that all fairytales are based on some form of evidence that we just haven't discovered yet."

Nature GamesThe ocean's crying,Nature Games1 year ago in Free Verse More Like This
Dripping droplets of cunning salt.
The impatient wind wails endlessly,
Yet the water's depressed thrashings don't halt.
The land stays solemnly still and stands
Courageously tall without shedding a tear of agony.
Even the shy breeze whispers,
To the gentle giant trees of the soil's bravery.
The overwhelming ocean leaves sad tiny marks
Of shells from its aggressive harsh beatings.
The lands bleed boastful
Sand as the beach's greetings.
The wild petunias and daffodils pose
As the audience to the frames,
Hence, the fauna sing and cheer
To these nature games.

The ocean’s not blue
The flowers aren’t gorgeous
They’re umber-shade hues
The grass isn’t green
Behind the rotted fence
When my head isn’t lying
Against your warm chest
My poems aren’t written
Alright, that’s a lie
But without you right here,
My words come up dry
I’m practically groaning
Two days is too long
These rhymes still aren’t helping
Nor the chime of love songs
I stare out the window
The stars aren’t as bright
I wish you were here now
To squeeze me “good night”
I’ll see you again, soon
I promise, I swear
I’ll quit writing this poem
And wish you weren’t there
So look at the stars now
And wish similar things
I’ll try to come visiting
Somewhere in your dreams

Ryuk let out a high pitched chuckle as he moved from his spot behind you, to next to you. “No one else can see me, you already know that. You're just trying to get me to leave, and I'm not going to.”
“Well, why not?” Aggravated and Slightly uncomfortable with his closeness, you let out a loud, annoyed snort. “There's no reason for you to be stalking me like this. I have nothing you need and the fact that I really don't like you can't make your time with me all that enjoyable. Why don't you just go find someone else to freak out for a while.”

Crosses window with graceful swoon.
Shape of grace, of womanhood
Ghosts so often misunderstood
Something sad about her plight

Trapped in time, without a place
Wisp of shadow, obscure face
Haunting image does not belong
Silent apparition, ghostly song.

Very soon she'll be on her way
Presence will seek heaven's domain

The Magic PencilThe red lines struck two o’clock – in the morning. The Magic Pencil1 year ago in Stories & Vignettes More Like This
Sleep seemed like an inevitable option. I blamed the horror movie, and the overconsumption of cheese, and the inability to shut the window to rid the terrible draft. Even worse, my daughter Alice, next door, seemed to be the fidget master of this square peg, round hole situation. Nothing but rumble after rumble, knock after knock on the wall.
I bet she was enjoying this. No sugar in her cup of tea in the morning, I thought evilly.
That will have shown her!
The clock turned one past two.
I gave it a baleful stare. At least it didn’t have to sleep. The irony of that, though, was the ‘sleep’ button on the side of the clock. Only if that button really sent me to sleep, then would my world be complete. Heck, that would have happened. I needed a miracle.
The wall knocked; again and again.
“Max.” My wife mumbled. I knew what she was hinting.
“Oh no. No, no, no. It’s your turn.

Your hands were not welcomed,

You saw me as property,
your own personal pawn.
Gaining freedom was not easy,
you kept holding on.
So the game of life I did play,
turning black pawn to white.
Your threats and promises came,
but I continued with the fight.
The battle for freedom ended,
you convinced of your victory.
The truth came eventually,
revealing the contradictory.
You attempt to ensnare me again,

You claim that you've changed,

I will not allow you to come back,
I've learned my lesson well.

I learned from my mistakes,
from all of me that was disgraced.
Knowing you was torture,
my patience was misplaced.
