"(Y/N)!" Kyo called out as your feet were leading you home.
You turned around with wide eyes. Kyo rarely called for you. You two had been friends for quite a while, but he never showed any need or want for you during that time. You never admitted that it hurt you. Or that you wanted him to want you, but that was another anchor you tried to throw to the back of your mind.
Nonetheless, you set a smile on your face and waved as his running figure came closer to you.
"Hey, what's up?" you asked, your heart thumping.
You didn't know what it was, but whenever he talked to you, you could feel your heart beating heavily in your chest.
And you didn't like it at all. It made your hands clammy and your body numb. It made you stutter and it made you lose track of everything around you.
"I need your help," Kyo stated, his breathing irregular.
"Huh? Is this Kyo Sohma asking me for help," you replied, sarcasm stitched in your words.
He rolled his eyes, crossing his arms.
"You're my best friend, alrig
UNNAMED - Volgin x IvanThe door swung open with a soft, low creak, its hinges tired and protesting from too many years of wear and abuse. It was the kind of sound that put most on guard, as it suggested the last thing anyone in such a hot war zone ever wanted to face: a breached perimeter, but he just couldnt be bothered to pay it mind. Maybe he was overly confident in the security of the compound; maybe he was just overly confident in himself. More likely, though, he just simply didnt hear, too lost in some deep and angry reverie. This was when Volgin was at his most dangerous; his quiet, seething rages were unforgiving and marked catastrophe, whereas his explosive rages were brutal, but only fleeting, in comparison. It was enough to make most avoid him, for fear of their own safety, and, looking upon the tall, brutal man, troubled exquisitely by something, his anger having numbed him to the world, even the Major briefly considered turning and walking away, before he was noticed in the shadow ofUNNAMED - Volgin x Ivan6 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This

Hello folks, and now, I bring you a rant that has ABSO-POSI-LUTELY NOTHING to do with Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. Thank god, cause if I have to make another "rant" regarding that game, I think I'd have to start a zombie apocalypse with some 245 - Trioxin. Instead, this rant is going to be on the subject of a game that has been the subject of tons of controversy.
If your a fan of Capcom, you'll probably be familiar with the famous hack-n'-slash franchise known as Devil May Cry. Well, in September 2010, Capcom officially announced that there would be a new Devil May Cry installment in the series. It would be an origin story that established how Dante, the main protagonist of the series, came to grips with his half-demon half-human heritage, and Capcom would outsource the game to Ninja Theory, a company known for only 2 major titles: Heavenly Sword and Enslaved.
With the announcement came a few screenshots and a trailer of the game. In the 4 Devil May Cry titles before this, Dante had s

Head Down Mouth Shut - Matt Miller x ReaderIt wasn't very hard to survive in Steelport. The gangs here never just went on random killing sprees like in that god forsaken Stilwater. The gangs here were all held together by a very intricate group and the leader was refine and, to an extent, kind. Unless you got on his bad side. The trick to staying on his good side was to keep your head down and your mouth shut.Head Down Mouth Shut - Matt Miller x Reader1 year ago in Romance More Like This
And that was the policy the young bank teller (Y/n) followed to a T. She technically wasn't of the age where she should be working at such a place, but the law was long forgotten and bank tellers were always needed. So the underage (Y/n) worked her nine to five behind a counter, dealing with annoying customers day in and out.
It was in the afternoon when she was explaining for the third time to an elder man how his pension worked when the doors were kicked open and a gunshot ran out through out the air. The unlucky bank goers hit the floor screaming and (Y/n) kept her eyes on the door.

You shivered as you walked up the bridge to Fortuna castle. You were helping with killing the demons that made their way to the human world. It was snowing hard, which was weird. A demon must be behind it. You walked into the castle, not believing what you saw. The entire floor of the castle was covered in icicle spears. There was little room to move. You managed to wall jump up to the upper floor with scarcely any ice. Most of the doors were blocked, limiting your options you wandered down some hallways, searching for any signs of life. When you rounded a corner, demons were stalking through the halls. You pulled out your sword, and ran at the demons, easily killing them. As you walked down the halls, you noticed how nice the castle looked, before it was sort of deserted. You were looking for a switch for the bridge leading to the forest. Dante, the famous devil hunter, was heading this way and you worked along side him sometimes. You had a crush on him, but neve

This rant is inspired by all the brave folk who have ranted, and gladly recieved hate comments from haters.
Anyhoo, on to the rant
So, there are a number of reasons that DMC fans have conjured up to hate DmC. All the reasons are VERY stupid. I mean so stupid, that it defies all Physics of gaming. Like, how New Dante looks, or the gameplay, or even whether or not that New Dante looks like Tameem or not.
His appearance is one of the main complaints. They have went from him looking like Edward Cullen to him looking like Tameem himself; and along side the way, even considered him looking like Rihanna. He looks like NEITHER OF THEM. Perhaps Tameem took a few traits from other people to base his character design? Who knows? WHO CARES? True gamers wouldn't even consider character design. If character design was all that mattered in t

"Wow, sounds rough old man".
Here we find our hero Dante complaining to his less impressive sidekick Nero about his humiliation earlier in the day to the evil witch, as he put it, known as Bayonetta. As Dante continued to complain, the two wandered aimlessly through the streets.
It's not their fault though, Dante's currently fuming over his defeat earlier in the day and can't think straight, or at all, and Nero lacks the backbone to interrupt the devil hunter.
"Y'know, I'm so pissed off right now, I could use a drink," Dante grumbled as he continued his destination-less trek through the streets. "I tell ya kid, I'd drink to the point where I'd get so drunk that I would forget I was actually hanging out with you".
"Yeah, then I'd have to carry your drunk ass home! Hopefully you'd get so drunk that you get alcohol poisoning and then I could drop you off in a cemetery!" Nero

Those are the only words that are being processed into my mind right now as everything around me was a giant canvas of swirling and blurred colors that would've been a beautiful painting, if it wasn't for the fact /why/ it was like that. My shaking, (s/c) hands were outstretched before me in an attempt to slap away all of the branches and foliage that managed to get in my path as I ran. My legs felt as if they were on fire with all of the adrenaline and blood that was pumping through them, but none of that mattered to me anymore. The intense heat and pain from my legs only encouraged me to move even faster than I was moments ago.
Encouraged me to escape death itself.
A loud crackling noise was heard not to far behind me and a blinding, blue light struck the tree only a few feet away from my head. The blast made me recoil instinctively and it felt as if a root came out of the ground and grabbed my ankle, pulling me down. My mouth opened to scream but no noise

Russell Cunningham, whose tall and lanky form was bent forward in concentration, didn't seem to hear his younger sister's indignant request. At this, she sighed, rolled her eyes, and kicked him in the leg.
Russell jumped out of his reverie, his blonde curly hair bouncing in alarm as he jerked his head up. "Hmm? What? What did I do?" He blinked at his sister curiously.
Claire Cunningham glared at him for a moment, then reached over and yanked the headphone cord hanging around his neck, dislodging his earbuds. "You mean to tell me I've been talking to you this whole time and you haven't heard a word I've said?" she demanded.
Russell reddended sheepishly, shifting in his seat. "Uhm, yes. I guess so."
Claire sighed with exasperation. "Russ, this isn't a vacation."

Ariel stumbled off of the solar surfer still laughing, squealing when her knees buckled beneath her and she fell onto the cool sand. She turned over, kicking her feet as she giggled.
'Are my legs supposed to feel like jellyfish after riding on a surfer?' She asked. The moon was bright enough for them to see, and he smiled at her naivete.
"Yeah, it's fine," he said, rubbing his casted leg absently. He had forgotten all about it when they were in the air, and he was in too good of a mood to pay attention to the ache now. "Like finding your land legs after being on a ship for a time."
His companion nodded hesitantly, then directed her attention to the surfer again.

"Well--" he hummed, "this is-- just a test model. To-- see if it's safe." He gave the sail a good-job pat. "Yup-- seems pretty stable."

What does Kenneth SOUND like?
Kenneth has a very down-to-Earth, informal way of speaking most of the time, even when he's trying to be serious, and has sort of a goofy, self-deprecating sense of humor. Though you would expect his voice to be deep and Schwarzenegger-like thanks to his huge musculature, he's actually more in the middle, though his voice gets a bit higher when he's over-excited or nervous. He also has an infectious and almost awkward-sounding laugh. It's actually been really difficult pinning down the perfect voice actor for Kenneth, though; I've junked at least 4 people who I've considered over the years.
What does Kenneth SMELL like?
Kenneth's smell is usually a combination of three things: Pert 2 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner, Irish Spring bar soap, and either Right Guard (Fresh Blast scented) or Old Spice High-Endurance deodorant (Original Scent). Kenneth usually likes being fresh as a daisy, but he is
