The young Pegasus couldn't contain her excitement. Her turquoise wings twitched and her hooves fidgeted beneath her. Rainbow Dash couldn't stand still, no matter hard she tried nor how much her friends sighed in annoyance of her antics. To say she was joyful or happy would be an understatement. But today, and today only, would her friends allow this behaviour without uttering so much as a single complaint. She pounced up and down, her violet eyes eagerly searching throughout the crowd of gather ponies. The whole of Ponyville seemed to be gathered here, all with the hopes of meeting one of the most famous pony's in all of Equestria [

You shivered as you walked up the bridge to Fortuna castle. You were helping with killing the demons that made their way to the human world. It was snowing hard, which was weird. A demon must be behind it. You walked into the castle, not believing what you saw. The entire floor of the castle was covered in icicle spears. There was little room to move. You managed to wall jump up to the upper floor with scarcely any ice. Most of the doors were blocked, limiting your options you wandered down some hallways, searching for any signs of life. When you rounded a corner, demons were stalking through the halls. You pulled out your sword, and ran at the demons, easily killing them. As you walked down the halls, you noticed how nice the castle looked, before it was sort of deserted. You were looking for a switch for the bridge leading to the forest. Dante, the famous devil hunter, was heading this way and you worked along side him sometimes. You had a crush on him, but neve

Hello folks, and now, I bring you a rant that has ABSO-POSI-LUTELY NOTHING to do with Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. Thank god, cause if I have to make another "rant" regarding that game, I think I'd have to start a zombie apocalypse with some 245 - Trioxin. Instead, this rant is going to be on the subject of a game that has been the subject of tons of controversy.
If your a fan of Capcom, you'll probably be familiar with the famous hack-n'-slash franchise known as Devil May Cry. Well, in September 2010, Capcom officially announced that there would be a new Devil May Cry installment in the series. It would be an origin story that established how Dante, the main protagonist of the series, came to grips with his half-demon half-human heritage, and Capcom would outsource the game to Ninja Theory, a company known for only 2 major titles: Heavenly Sword and Enslaved.
With the announcement came a few screenshots and a trailer of the game. In the 4 Devil May Cry titles before this, Dante had s

You awkwardly stood up and walked over to Lucy, you place your hand in the hat and spun the paper around then grabbed one of the slips. You pulled it out of the hat and opened the slip and read out...
You looked towards the most over attached member of the guild, "Freed."
Freed looked somewhat shocked and looked towards Laxus, the Guild member which was in charge of the Thunder Legion. Laxus gave Freed a sort of nod of approval making Freed stand up and walk over to you. You always loved Freed's long green hair, when ever you looked at it you wondered how he could keep his hair undamaged. Freed stood up from his seat, and being the gentleman he was, held his hand down for you so you could get up. You followed Freed to the closet as Lucy opened the door allowing you and Freed to enter the closet.
"Well have fun in there you two," Lucy said as she closed the door.
You leaned against the wall of the closet, Freed following your actions. Freed was the proudest member of the Thunder Legion

You remembered that day too. The first time you flew with Jack. You remembered how magical it felt, to have the wind embracing you. Lifting you. Carrying you.
To have Jack's arms around you.
You remembered the way Jack had smiled at you. The way he laughed. The way his eyes seemed to dim when you two parted ways.
But you also remembered his promise.
"Don't worry. I'll see you soon."
And you realise now, even as you sit alone, cold and afraid, uncertain and hurt in this dark world...
Deep down in your heart, you knew you would never stop believing him.
No matter what.
You would always believe in Jack Frost.

"Thor, please, calm down!"
They were in the waiting room. Thor was extremely nervous, the reason Loki had come to stay with him. The God of Thunder, now wearing a simple but beautiful white T-shirt with jeans, walked around endlessly, murmuring something to himself. Loki, on the other hand, was sitting on the small seat next to the door, his suit swinging around as he tried to calm his brother down.
"Thor, please, relax! Jane will be fine, you just need to give her some time!"

I've found it very useful. I usually start writing what the plot generator has given me, and it get's me thinking about the book I'm trying to finish at the moment. I find it very useful.
If you don't like the plot given to you, or you can't work off of it, it's simple to just refresh the scenario. It works terrific!
It's free, by the way, and the site is a safe one. You can use this to generate plots for a contest, or just a short story to get you out of a rut! I love it so, and I just wanted to share it.

If only to make sure he wouldn't eat away other innocent children's belief.

There is the occasional glance, but mostly just snide remarks and ignored snarls, seeping hatred, some taunting Nightmares, but then Pitch delves down into his pit and disappeared for days on end. Jack doesn’t mind those days of utter silence, they remind him of the days before he was a Guardian—when everything was just fun.

You chuckled, a ghost of a smile coming to rest on your lips.
You remembered that day so clearly.
Your cage creaked as you shifted slowly, attempting to relieve yourself of the throbbing in your lower back. Your efforts bore no triumph on your part. But even so, despite your discomfort, your faint smile never waned. You were too busy -- Remembering.
Remembering the way the snow glistened, and the sheer beauty of the Lake.
And him. You couldn't help but remind yourself of him. Meeting him at the Lake's edge for the very first time. The way he grinned so confidently at you.
And you surely couldn't forget how shocked you were when he told you who he really was.
Your smile grew, but only slightly. For the sweet memories now plagued you with a bitter sadness. You often thought to yourself, as you sat alone in this cold dark world, how things could have gone so wrong.

Jack woke with a sudden start, nearly falling off of his branch and toppling into a heap of snow beneath him.
He looked around quickly, not really taking anything in, just looking for the source of the voice he thought he heard. He searched the bushes in front of him, the frozen lake beneath him, even the tree itself. There were idle shadows—but he knew better than to linger on them, for his mind sometime played dangerous tricks—but there was no one to be found; at least not in the physical realms around him. Jack slowly settled back down against his branch, his mind still buzzing, his heart beat echoing in his ears and his skin set aflame.

You should have listened...
You should have known better...
You should have paid closer attention, thought a little harder. If you had, maybe you wouldn't be in this rather unpleasant predicament.
The heavy black sandy handcuffs were digging into the skin of your wrists and ankles from where you were bound. The large, cold metal cage you were locked in was made of the same material as the cuffs. And the cage was dangling-- rather high up, might I add -- above what looked to be an endless chasm of darkness below you. Every now and then, a sliver of movement would catch your eye, and you would cautiously scan your surroundings, hoping for all the world that whatever was moving in the shadows wasn't...Him.
When you could no longer sense any movement, you allowed your head to roll backward tiredly to

Bite Me! Prologue It was the perfect kind of night where someone like Barry Godwynn was concerned; not a cloud in the sky to obstruct the moon's soft blue light, the chilly autumn air surprisingly crisp and pleasant. The forest, though thick and somewhat oppressive, seemed serene in the moonlight, adding an element that was almost magical to the whole scene. But Barry wasn't here to appreciate the beauty of the place; all he cared about was whether he had clear visibility for at least fifty feet. He ignored the mosquito that whined through the air near his ear, never letting his concentration waver. He was after a different kind of bloodsucker tonight.
