Kojima wants Rising 2Straight quote from SPOnG.com:Kojima wants Rising 23 years ago in Personal More Like This
Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima has heaped a huge amount of praise on Metal Gear Rising developer Platinum Games, revealing that he would like to make a sequel to the action spinoff and would only consider partnering with the Bayonetta studio for the job.
In a roundtable attended by SPOnG, the producer also opined that Platinum is just a technological upgrade away from being "a world class studio."
"As far as [Metal Gear] Rising 2 is concerned, I really do have that in my mind, and I want to make it," Kojima explained. "And if we do make it, it would definitely be with Platinum. I don’t think anyone else could do it.
"Of course, my ulterior motive is that if Rising 2 came out, it would be guaranteed to sell! Which means that I wouldn’t have to worry about that with [new project, Metal Gear Solid] Ground Zeroes. I can just do what

As most of you know, I quit cosplaying a year ago and made a video about it about 6 months ago. Due to the high demand of many wonderful fellow cosplayers and convention goers writing to me to come back to the community, I have decided that since I left due to my career, that I now have the time to start up some fun new cosplays. I may not be doing a lot or attending as many conventions as I did in the past, but I will do what I can. I was very touched and honored to know so many people would miss me with them at conventions and this creative community. I missed all you guys very much as I focused on my career as a writer and artist. So, I am happy to say, I shall be returning to cosplay and have some fun new things in store for the future. I can't promise that it will be Hellsing related but I do have a lot of things to offer.
I will say that to start that my novel series PHOENIX was picked up in NYC by a couple big NYC publishin
Scatterbrained Journal Post + RecommendationsI just got back from a trip and I’ve had a lot of things on my mind that I wanted to talk about but couldn’t due to an absence of keyboards (sorry iPhone, your keyboard and hilarious auto-correcting makes long-winded journals too difficult to do on the road). So this journal might be a little... scatterbrained? I’m not sure, but I will try to separate things into groups if I can, otherwise here we go!Scatterbrained Journal Post + Recommendations1 year ago in Personal More Like This
I live in America and a lot of times I come under fire for my political beliefs not because they’re really controversial, but because they conflict with another countries political history. So I wanted to just reiterate that I am an American. I talk about American problems. You can frame pretty much every sentence I write with the addition of “...in America.” While I try to keep a level head about world politics I am not, and should not, be used as a credible source of information regarding politics or even history of o

Thusday, 24th May:
I arrived at the Airport in the afternoon and the organization team picked me up from there . The hotel room was directly next to the con. It was still some time till Elffi's plane would arrive, so Christian (organization team member) and I took a walk in a nearby park. I got so distracted by wild DOGS, BIRDS and CATS everywhere *-*! I could pet a cute wild kitty <3 awww~~
The we went to the airport to pick up Elffi. We were standing there pretty long and I got bored and annoyed XD;....so the first thing I did after he came out of the baggage claim room, was kicking his leg and asking why the hell that took so long ;O;~~~
We haven't seen each other since WCS, so that really heartwarming kick was the nicest greeting I could get in mind *LOL*.

My Little Dashie PoemShe came to me like an angelMy Little Dashie Poem3 years ago in Personal More Like This
She was beautiful from every angle
Showed up when my life was grim
Poured in a light when mine was dim
She was very young, but really strong
Running around all night long
Only once did she ever speak
Made my heart jump to next week
She kissed my cheek to know she had me
Cutely said "I love you, Daddy"
The day she left, I tried not to cry
But wasn't able the moment she said bye
Mouthing the words with eyes now filled
"I love you, Daddy...I always will"
Now I gaze at her baby pictures
My heart feels it's covered in blisters
The day I found her I remember well
In the wind, it must have been hell
Sitting in that box all alone
The box Read "Give To A Good Home"
Introduction about making handmade booksINTRODUCTION ABOUT BASIC TOOLS TO MAKE HANDMADE BOOKSIntroduction about making handmade books2 years ago in Art Features More Like This
Today I'd like to share with you some basic tips if you're interested in making handmade books. I've learned how to do that a few terms ago, at the university. As an art restoring adept I've been through the old, traditional ways of making books and added some modern touches to simplify that. I'm going non-professional so far, without expensive equipment, so if you'd like to give books a try you don't have to invest that much
The first and obvious thing that's needed for our book is paper. At that stage you have to decide what kind of book you'd like to make - you need lined or squared paper for notebooks, journals, cookbooks and basically everything that's meant to write in. Sketchbooks and scrapbooks require nice smooth plain paper and photo albums work best with thick and durable paper. Of course those are basics, you can use decorated paper or one suitable for

Valentine Heart ContestValentine Heart Contest8 months ago in Deviant Events More Like This
Valentine's day is fast approaching and what better way to celebrate than participate in this brand new
contest encouraging you to literally see hearts in anything and everything. Inspired by Drew Barrymore's recently released Photograhy
Book called Find It in Everything — this contest challenges you to look beyond the obvious and find abstract heart shapes in everyday and ordinary things.
For an example of what exactly you're looking for, read on!
I found a heart at the beginning of the year whilst browsing shop aisles for a mirror. It had an imperfection, a tiny little heart on the bottom corner, but I fell in love with it anyway. I decided to take the collage approach and use two images to showcase where and how I found my “heart.” You can do exactly the same! Or you can have a singular image that shows a heart... whatev

Children's Literature, Morality + Changing IdealsIntroductionChildren's Literature, Morality + Changing Ideals3 years ago in Literature Features More Like This
With the invention of the printing press in the fifteenth century, and its gradual integration into society, people at last had access to literature. It was William Caxton who first saw the opportunity to make money by printing and selling those stories and fables hitherto told by word of mouth.
At this time, literature did not have age-specific target audiences. Inevitably, some stories appealed to children more than others. Robin Hood was especially popular, while Aesop’s fables offered entertainment and life lessons to adults and children alike.
It is, of course, impossible to say exactly when and how literature was identified as a useful tool in teaching morality to children. It is speculated that there was no concept of ‘childhood’ before the eighteenth century, although historians debate this, as historians are apt to do.

The Space Age Adventures Of Cowboy Bebop
Making its debut in Japan in 1998, the cult anime series Cowboy Bebop by director Shinichirō Watanabe, set in the year 2071, tells the story of a crew of bounty hunters (aka cowboys) traveling through space in their ship, the “Bebop.” In the world of this series, the Earth has been damaged and humans have been forced to create colonies acr

Where do I even start? I'm glad to be alive.
It takes a lot of courage to put certain thoughts and feelings into words, too easy to be hurt for who we are, our heart's fragility can only withstand so much when it comes to our weaknesses, I think.
And so, I hadn't known how to write this, and I still don't exactly, not really. But last year -- getting over depression -- was surely the grandest achievement of me being 24 (and of course my doctor, who didn't even have to put me on antidepressants, thank you).
In many ways, I'd been afraid to write about it because I didn't want to jinx my recovery, it wasn't often I had something good like that. (Because you know, more than once, I'd thought that I was fine, just to find myself living in the very opposite of that the next months.)
It was a lo
Reguarding The New DmC: We'll be okay.So... I've been downloading Devil May Cry OSTs And while listening to "I'll be your home" I realized something- About my Rants and Raves towards the new DmC:Reguarding The New DmC: We'll be okay.3 years ago in Personal More Like This
There's Nothing we can do. Nothing
But thats okay- Because they can't simply come in and take away the Dante, the emotions, the love, the hate, the frustration of being stuck on Vergils last battle and finally screaming "TAKE THAT YOU WHORE!!!!" at the screen at the end of the game!!!! No. They can't.. they can't take what they've already given us.
This new game is much like a cold: All we have to do is lay back, relax and it'll go away.
I can't wait for it to come out- perhaps if not many people enjoy it they may realize how many are outraged.
I complain not. Its a good thing I'm not a Devil...
Because I'm bawling. Crying. Sobbing. All and any derivitives for the tears inside me. To be a nerd and quote the song I'm sobbing to: "The tears inside me calm me down"
Thinking about that reminds me of DMC3's last few cutscenes...

De-ConI had a blast at the London Super Comic Con. Definitely gonna go back there next year.De-Con2 years ago in Personal More Like This
I spent pretty much all of Saturday doing little convention sketches. It was brilliant. I love nattering with folk while I draw silly little things for them.
Sunday was slower on the commission front, so I spent the downtime doing a few pics that are now up on ebay, should anyone want ‘em (Edit: sorry, all sold, now).
A highlight was the presence of Arthur Adams, whose work I’m a HUUUUGE fan of. Alas, I didn’t really get the chance to talk to him. The only time I moved away from my table was at the tail end of Sunday, and by the time I reached his stand he was packing his gear away. Didn’t want to pester him while he was doing that, so I quickly bought a couple of prints and let him get on with it.
Frank Cho was there, too. I toyed with the idea of getting him to write “Cease and desist!!” in the Sequential Art book where the parody figure Funk Cho appears, but he

Where the Gospel ShinesWhy Homosexuality Is Not Like Other SinsWhere the Gospel Shines3 months ago in Personal More Like This
Written by Jonathan Parnell
Homosexuality is not the only sin mentioned in 1 Corinthians 6:9–10.
Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
It’s not the only sin mentioned, but it is different from all the rest, at least right now. At this moment in history, contrary to the other sins listed here, homosexuality is celebrated by our larger society with pioneering excitement. It’s seen as a good thing, as the new hallmark of progress.
To be sure, the masses increasingly make no bones about sin in general. Innumerable people are idolaters, not to mention those who are sexually immo
