A Trip to Hell"Alright, I got it approved!" Kissae badged into the room.A Trip to Hell2 years ago in Literature Features More Like This
"Got what approved?" Kreyul asked without glancing up from his sketch book.
"You asked to follow me at work, didn't you?" Kissae sat on the table facing Kreyul.
"Wow, excuse me while I scream like a child right now." Kreyul put his sketch book down bewildered.
Kissae was completely lying of course. He (in his male form right now) never gotten permission, then again, there was never rules against bringing a live being to work, so meh, to hell with regulations.
"You should not speak, or say anything to the spirits you're about to see. I'm telling you, my day might be extremely eventful or extremely underwhelming and boring. Depends on your luck for today. The Fair StrangerWe flirt occasionally, you see. He only appears when I'm a train wreck, alone on my bed, in an emotional turmoil. The Fair Stranger1 year ago in Literature Features More Like This
When Life wounds me, he comes.
Gently stroking my messy hair, "Elope with me," says He.
Where to? I would ask.
He shakes his head, "I can't tell you." He smiles, "I promise all your worldly problems will cease to exist."
"Come with me." He rests his warm hand upon my throbbing heart. All agony fades to a tingling solace.
His words swayed me from time to time. I have pondered and fantasized about surrendering myself to his care. Let him take me away. But I have dreams and hopes I have yet to fulfill. I have people I love. They'll miss me terribly if I elope with this fair stranger.
I shake my head, removing his hand, "Not yet."
He nods and vanishes. My anguish resumes.
Did I mention, his name was Death?
We flirt from time to time.
