"No, My Lord."
"Not at the moment, Earl Phantomhive."
"Sebastian, I can't believe you actually let her cook."
"My Lady insisted on it, so I couldn't object."

"I'm not?" You look at him with a glare. "I'm just like you, remember?"
"T-that's right. Continue," Ciel sighs.
Sebastian lifts the top off of the tray to reveal a glass of something and a pie.
"I have prepared an organic chilled blueberry soup and a sun dried tomato quiche for the main course. Do you prefer yogurt or cream cheese, my lord?"
"Cream cheese," Ciel replies boredly.
"I mixed local blueberries with imported ones from California to create a sweet and sour taste. You seem to favor that, my lord. For the quiche, I used quail eggs, which go wonderfully

Ciel sits up from bed, to see two figures, shadowed by the moonlight.
Ciel looks at the taller figure, Sebastian, who seems both dazed and shocked at the same time, looking at the shorter figure.
The shorter figure turns her face to Ciel, wearing a warm smile on her face.
"Earl Phantomhive. I trust you have been well?" She asks smoothly.
"Lady _____!" Ciel practically yells. "You're..."
"Please calm down, Earl," she requests quietly. "Yes, I am alive, and I'll explain everything soon. For now..." she looks at the spaced-out butler with a grin.
"Sebastian! What are you doing?! Hurry up and explain this!" Ciel demands.
Sebastian flinches and regains his straight composure, turning the half-demon's grin into a snicker. "Lady _____ is a half-demon, My Lord, daughter of a human and..." he walks up to Ciel and whispers a name in his ear. Ciel's eyes shoot open.

He rolled his eyes and sighed. He yanked at his grey-blue locks as he considered his situation. Six years. It had been six years since he started learning. By now, he should have been an experienced musician.
It wasn’t that he lacked experience though… it was more as if he lacked the skill.
No matter how hard he practiced (or not), he really could not get in touch with his musical abilities that were supposed to exist. Why d

As usual, I forced myself to sit up, was given my tea and breakfast, and dressed.

Part 4: Memories
I suddenly sat up in a bed, gasping. The air had stilled. The world reappeared around me, as usual as it ever was. There was no evidence that anything had happened at all. Was it all a dream?
I quickly jumped off the bed, clumsily falling on my knees. It was then that I realized I was in my old room-- the one I had slept in before I moved to the larger bedroom. As I stood, I caught my reflection in the mirror. Besides the fact these weren’t my usual clothes, I looked different. My hair was the same, my face hadn’t changed (much), but my eyes… the eye patch was gone. And with it, the contract seal.
“No… Sebastian…” I reached up to the edge of my lashes, as if waving my hand across it would make it re-appear. I even touched the cold glass of the mirror to make sure it wasn’t a trick. But it was real.
I decided to carry on and make my way down the halls, trying to get any clues on what just happened.

Part 5: The Answer
I awoke early the next morning. My parents were still asleep on either side of me.
I stretched and sat up, sleepily rubbing my eyes. The early dawn light peaked through the curtains. Still half asleep, I decided to make my way down to the den. It seemed to be like a habit. I only wanted to inspect, to confirm it completely.
I almost scolded myself for acting so foolish as to even check. The den was there- as it always was. Not a lick of a flame had touched it. Still, I let my eyes slowly scan across the room.
I smiled, then decided to make my way to my bedroom and stay there until morning came. I softly shut the door behind me and heavily fell upon the soft, silky bed covers. I sighed, nearly drifting off to sleep, when a little glimmer of light caught in the corner of my eye. Curious, I sat up, turning my gaze to my dresser.
In the center was a little glass-like object, glowing in the dull light. I didn’t even consi

Grim Reapers are neutral, supernatural beings who review lists of individuals about to die. They decide who should continue to live or not based on their history.
Grim Reapers review souls based on lists given to them by other departments. It is understood that these lists are given out well before the intended individuals actually die, hinting at some ability to foresee the future. It is their duty to review areas where people are dying and review their lives, which they have a variety of information on, including the person's name, cause of death, and any further notes. Reapers seem to be allocated to various locations based on an unseen, but frequently referenced, Person
