I am finally happy with my Lara cosplay! I have been tweaking and shooting for weeks now. This is the one! NOTE: this photo is self shot and edited. Everything is made by hand. If used anywhere outside the site please credit Alexa Karii and link back to [link]
Maccus is a character of mine, he is part of a story that I did called "Masters of the Night" I never finished the story I just have sketches in notebooks and stuff but here in dA I have some drawings of him: fav.me/d2ptgirfav.me/d2sdkmzfav.me/d2rxrtefav.me/d2pltocfav.me/d2w2zua About him: He is the bad guy and he trick the girl of the story, she is cursed and he promised her to save her if she becomes one of his " night butterflies". He's a guy who doesn´t care about others. he have magical powers that only works at night, in the story he is the one that let cross to our world the nightmares xD But well for this contest I did him crying cause if he would be a good guy in the story... the girl would never break her curse, if he would be a good guy he would be human ( he is not exactly a human...) and if he would be a human Im sure that he would be sorry for the girl D: and it would be a very sad story >A>! SO~ I did the bad guy turn into a good guy but because of that the girl dont have a happy ending... sorry D: xD Wish me good luck in the contest >^<!!
I made these two costumes based on characters from the game, "OKAMI". Amaterasu is worn by a good friend and I am wearing the Nine-tail Demon Fox costume. Both costumes were designed to move on all four legs. Both costumes utilize techniques from both my costuming experience and from studying techniques used in Ningyō jōruri (Bunraku puppetry). They are constructed from polyfoam, evac foam, faux-fur, plastic and latex.
Me as the cheshire cat. Eh, it was either this or the Mad Hatter and I'm so bad at drawing people there was really no choice. Anyway, it's a bit darker than I expected, which is mostly due to the scannner. Yeah, this isn't my usual medium, i was messing with crayons and black construction paper. Might do more like this. it ws very fun. Still, way darker than i wanted. I drew this yesterday while watching a marathon of Primeval. And I've never drawn any version of the Cheshire Cat before, i really love how he/ she turned out, i'll probably draw it again.
