Chapter 1: A Bitter Hero and a Lonely Sage
It was warm inside the tavern. People, travelers, taking shelter from the storm outside were laughing, enjoying ale and stories. The door opened, and with it a rush of cold and a peal of thunder, to reveal a boy.
The boy looked no older then 13, wearing a green tunic and hat. His dark blond hair seeming to frame his face. On his back one could see two swords, and a shield. His face held a look which some of the men recognized. A look of bitterness, resentment, the look of one who had seen too much death and had lost too much. Many of then men thought the boy was too young to have such a look on his face, and wondered what hells the child had been through.
The boy walked up to the counter and placed two blue rupees upon it." A room for the night please." he said, his voice lacking the innocence that most children that age had.
The owner of the inn looked at the boy, his apperence, despite seeming harmless,

His ears perked up at the sound of soft notes in the distance. His head turned in the direction and he smiled.
"Sona?" He asked out loud as he stood. There was no answer, but the music continued. He made his feet walk that way, using the echo of his steps to determine his path.
Lee Sin knew the direction was correct with the steady increase in volume of the etwahl Sona delicately played. He approached heavy-footed so that he would not startle her, and smiled, hoping she was viewing him.
"Hello, Sona." He greeted gently. Her music hesitated, a slight astonished air about her, before she resumed playing a surprising sort of tune. He grinned, sitting across from her on the ground with his legs crossed. Sona grinned at the blind monk, knowing very well he would never see it.
It never occurred to him, though, to judge her for her inability to speak, as she never judged him for his inability to see. They had a mutual friendship that way, and they were somewhat close.

Reawakened Memories Chapter 3A couple days had past since the meeting with Steve. Claire had programmed his phone number into her cell; she had looked at it more times than she could count, just debating whether or not to call. The last time he called was still on her mind though, eating away at all other thoughts. He had abruptly hung up and hadnt called back.Reawakened Memories Chapter 36 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
May as well, she mumbled, getting up and walking over to her home phone, dialing the number she had memorized by then.
It was answered on the first ring, I was wondering when you were gonna call, she could hear the grin in his voice.
Yeah, well . . . I just wanted to see how you were doing. Nothing else, she lied.
Really? Are you sure thats it?
Yeah, so how are you?
Im doing great, how about you? I could come over and tell you some interesting stuff if youll let me.
Im fine, thanks, she said, theres really no need for you to come to

He had to call Ada for a ride. Luis had dropped him off in his jeep and drove it home. (Leon couldn't hardly move his arm, much less drive a standard.)
Yes? Came Ada's calm, cool voice on the other end of the line.
Can you come pick me up from the hospital?
Which hospital? She asked without missing a beat.
Leon frowned softly. That's something he missed about Claire. If he even mentioned the word 'hospital', Claire would be in tears, asking what happened and if he was okay. Ada only seemed to have any emotion when she wanted something...
The one on Mission and Army. He murmured softly, glancing around as he made his way to the front entrance of the hospital.

He had to hurt. I'd dealt with death so often in the last three months Raccoon City and now this. I'd put so many zombies down that a situation like this losing somebody I loved - had never even crossed my mind.
He was fighting. Fighting to stay awake. His breath was coming in ragged gasps. There was no sound in the cavernous room except for the sound of his pained breaths. He was shaking all over. His hands were quivering so hard he could hardly hold mine.
He took my hand, cupping it gently against his own face. His eyes were closed. A forced smile curved his lips. My hand made contact with his face and his pain seemed to ease. He nuzzled against my hand like a child. My palm fit so perfectly against his cheek.
"You're...warm." He said, voice hardly above a whisper. The words felt like another blow from one of Alexia's tentacles. It hurt. Hurt my heart, made it feel like it was going to burst out of my chest.

That was a perk of having Alfred be more than just her brother. She was entirely comfortable around him. She could walk around nearly naked without being the slightest bit self conscious, and she loved it.
Since the twins had grown up together, (naturally) Alexia knew everything about Alfred. His favorite color was blue, and because of this, he wore a blue sapphire ring on his left hand. He had a collection of tanks and gun models. He was heavily into World War II, Germany mostly. He read and spent some of his free time watching TV usually the history channel.
"Yeah." Alfred greed, glancing up to her. He didn't even hardly care, or notice the fact that she was naked.

Raccoon City High - Chapter 43Rebecca wasn't sure why she felt so inclined to trust Richard. Maybe it was because he was so caring and sweet to her, or the way that when he entered the room, she felt like everything was okay. It may have been the way he seemed to seek her out when she needed someone around the most, or because he seemed as though he was seeking to be around her. "...I thought that Joseph really liked me." She spoke softly, and Richard leaned close to hear her better. He rested a hand on the mattress of the hospital bed, concerned eyes focused on the younger girl. "A-and I sorta really liked him too. Raccoon City High - Chapter 33"Billy... can we sleep in tomorrow morning?" Rebecca asked, curled up in the passenger's seat with her back towards her lover. She was cold, despite the temperature being well into the 70's. She sat with an old blanket that Billy had in his car wrapped around her body, her head leaning against the headrest of the car seat. She whimpered softly, feeling tears spark at the corners of her eyes. She pulled the blanket over her head. It smelled like

There were six of them. There'd been six of them since they could remember. Neverland was the land of never, never aging, never dying, never leaving, and never coming. The six beautiful mermaids darted through the waters to reach the lagoon just in time. Peter was due home any moment and they couldn't miss his return.
Maris was in front, leading everyone in a graceful dance of speed. Her long blonde hair was pulled back as she sped through the water. They swam past the coral reefs they called home and the kelp beds they used for resting. Two dolphins swam alongside her, and she grabbed onto their fins as they pulled her faster. She laughed in the water and two bubbles managed out of her mouth and up to the surface. When she'd reached the lagoon she let go, waved them off, and swam up, pulling herself onto the large rock the girls used to sun. She grabbed an orange starfish from the underside and pushed back her hair out of her face, then lay down and warmed herself in the

I want you to be my boyfriend. She smiled. I like you, my brother likes you, you treat me like I'm a princess...
Steve sat down, holding his head for a moment. He felt light-headed. Sure, he was hoping for that, but he didn't actually believe she'd go for him.

The sky was dyed in the purples of twilight but for a few long clouds that burned orange with the last of the dying rays of day. The stars were beginning to dot the velvet sky and twinkled as they appeared one by one. The evening air was cool and flowed through the streets to mingle with the waves of heat the cobblestones had gathered in the day and now released back into the falling night. The lanterns of Death City glowed brighter as the stubborn embers in the sky began to dim. The city had come to life as the citizens left their homes to mingle and enjoy the cool evening.
Soul and Maka walked arm-in-arm through the suddenly bustling streets all but oblivious to the spectacular desert beauty or to the curious looks of passersby. They took their time winding through the streets and talking about everything and nothing at the same time. By the time they reached the restaurant, night had fallen completely.
The Italian restaurant was aglow with a warm and welcoming light tinged wit

It's About Time (NaLu, Natsu X Lucy)It had been a tiresome day for Lucy Heartfilia. Not that she didn't feel tired, stressed or even irritated on any given day just being a part of Fairy Tail...because she did. Oh, she did. With Natsu Dragneel and his antics of always breaking into her apartment, she rarely ever got time to herself anymore. However, the job she embarked on today didn't go so well. Natsu and Happy were much too excited to drag Lucy on some huge adventure to take down a lowlife creep who stole a magical artifact from this wealthy (and sick) young girl. When they caught up to this sicko, of course the first thing he tried to do is go straight to sexually assaulting Lucy. It turned out the guy had some sort of mind powers, and it took a moment for Natsu to be able to kick his ass. During that short amount of time, Lucy had been violated. Her clothes were torn and her top half was left completely bare. After he won the fight, Natsu wrapped the blonde mage up in his vest to keep her body hidden. It's About Time (NaLu, Natsu X Lucy)9 months ago in Romance More Like This

The car shook as we drove down the dirt path to Hershel's farm. I looked at Clementine and she seemed calm given her situation, then again she's always been like that. I smiled at her and she smiled back.
So far not much had changed, but I was still being very careful about what I said and what I did. Thankfully I was able to remember a lot of what happened during those first few weeks but I was fearful of what'd happen if I said or did something wrong. Things wouldn't start to get really bad until we got to my parents old drugstore.
But despite my worrying, I still had Clementine, and that's all I truly cared about. As long as she was happy, I was too. But I still couldn't bare knowing what happened to her parents. Before the bite made me draw my last breath, Clementine saw her mom and dad as Walkers. It was horrible.
The car pulled up right next to a large house with a barn located next to it. This was Hershel's farm

And my best friend sat with me one night under the moon, showing me constellations and naming planets with the help of a telescope.
He said, "They almost look surreal."
and I answered they might as well be.
It's his way of being nice when he doesn't pick up on my sour tones,
but it's his way of being stern when he counters back.
And I know I deserve worse.
I walked on water once, because the shoreline was close and the sea shallow,

Which is where the optimism comes from, I think, where I'm nothing great, but things help me to pretend I can be.
I texted my best friend then and told him I felt fine,
and a moment later I got a phone call and he replied; "That almost sounded real."

Steve opened his door, saying hello to his dogs as he moved to his messy room to gather some pajamas, clothes for the next morning, essentials and other things he thought might prove to be useful for the sleepover. He hadn't spent the night with any other girl besides Rebecca, so he wasn't sure what to do. But at least he would be able to stay with Chris and Alfred. On the other side of the kingdom, Cinderella was interrupted from her floor-scrubbing by a knock on the front door. Her heart fluttered with the hope it might be Jim. It had been weeks now since he had left, but the hope was still strong in her that he had not forgotten her. She answered the door, and found to her disappointment it was not Jim, but a messenger in a palace uniform.
"An urgent message from His Imperial Majesty," he said, handing her an elaborately sealed envelope.
"Thank you," Cinderella said. He left, and she shut the door, looking curiously at the envelope.
Jaq and Gus ran up to her, with Morph hovering after them, all looking inquiringly at the envelope. "He said it's urgent," she said to them. She went upstairs to where her stepmother and two stepsisters were engaged in a painful music lesson.
"Cinderella," her stepmother barked, turning on the girl as she entered the room. "I warned you never to interrupt while-"
