My deviantART StoryHAPPY BIRTHDAY DEVIANTART!!!!My deviantART Story4 months ago in Art Features More Like This
DeviantART is a really important part of my life and it's been like that for several years now, so... how could I not take part to this lovely community event?
Here's my deviantART Story!
I first heard of deviantART 8 or 9 years ago, from my High-school friend Noemi (unfortunately she's not active on this site anymore). We were in the school newspaper and we were chatting about art and manga and she told me about a cool internet community where people from all over the world could share their art with others.
She showed me the site and I immediately signed up.
I was really sorry to see that my nickname was already taken (my REAL nickname is Eren, not Eeren, I just added another E at the front because I thought that since my real name starts with "E" I could have just doubled it. And, NO, my name doesn't come from Shingeki No Kyojin ;D), but that didn't stop me from creating an account.

After serveral requests, I decided to upload a tutorial for my absinthe corset today. As you can see I used the same pattern for my steampunk corset dress Mademoiselle …meraude Steam.
This tutorial shows an elaborate corset. Patterns can be found on the Internet at Burda / Simplicity or even online shops about historical patterns and corsets.
Many steps can be used for a simple corsage. The steps

Rest of Book 2 (EDIT number 2!!)EDITEDIT: I'm sorry I didn't get the next 20 chapters up this past weekend! The only two days a week I work are Saturday and Sunday, and then I got bombarded with more homework than I anticipated. That and a friend of the family currently passed away, so a lot has been on my mind. But I will REALLY try hard to get them up by the end of this month, I promise! Thank you so much to those who have been waiting patiently without complaint, God bless you! ALSO, FANFICS: A lot of people have been asking me about writing fanfics about the Seer. There IS a section in the gallery of the group for this, peeps. You don't have to ask me. Just be sure that I do want to one day get this published with my original characters replacing the PnF gang. Also, I do not read fanfics of this story because I don't have time nor do I want to accidental

Featured Artist - Bobby DriscollBest known to Disney fans as the voice of Peter Pan!Featured Artist - Bobby Driscoll2 years ago in Personal More Like This
Bobby Driscoll lived a very short, rollercoaster life.
He was discovered as a natural actor in a barbershop at the very young age of five-and-a-half! And, he was the first actor to sign a long term contract with the Walt Disney animation department.
At the age of 12, he was given an Oscar for outstanding juvenile actor for his performances in So Dear to my Heart (A Disney Movie) and The Window (RKO Picture).
At about the age of 16, Bobby Driscoll played his most famous roll - Peter Pan. He acted out all the parts himself before they were animated onto film. He was also the first boy ever to play Peter Pan (traditionally, Peter Pan is played by a girl.)
Here are some production pictures for y'all!
Unfortunately, life doesn't always have a fairytale ending for us like in the magical world of Disney. ;_;
Bobby Driscoll was introduced to drugs at the age of seventeen, had several run-ins with the law, and was sentenc
Serious Cosplayers HereMy post Fanime 2012 journal (stupid photos included)Serious Cosplayers Here3 years ago in Personal More Like This
So, about two weeks before Fanime, I played Journey and got it into my head that I wanted to cosplay the little characters in it. I immediately wen to alcedinidae as she had done a random last minute cosplay with me before 2 years back
(as seen here)
So I made her play the game and we decided to go through with the cosplay. She found a guide of sorts online here: http://turnonred.tumblr.com/post/22304756914/okay-that-took-forever-im-sorry-heres-the#notes which we used for most of the cosplay.
We found a wonderful color fabric really easily at Jo-Ann's and started immediately by cutting out the pieces for the cloak and taking some stupid photos with fabric scraps
the sewing of the pattern on the cloak took a loooong time and a looooot of bias tape (we raided the two closest jo-ann's for all of their goldenrod yellow tape)
It took even longer because our pets were so helpful throughout

Report Cosplayer Expo in Budapest (Hungary)Hey everyone ^.^Report Cosplayer Expo in Budapest (Hungary)2 years ago in Personal More Like This
sry for being super late with my reports! There still will be a report about the convention in Finland as fast as possible. But first a report about my latest cosplay travel to Hungary !
I was very happy to be invited as guest for the convention "COSPLAYER EXPO" in Budapest.
There, we were judges for the cosplay competition (categories: craftmanship solo, craftsmanship group, performance, EuroCosplay). It took us nearly the complete day to judge. Sadly my panel about ECG and WCS had to be canceled, coz there was not enough time anymore after the cosplay competitions.
I took some photos during the contest while judging XD;...sadly there was not enough time for real shooting with the country's cospalyers. I still hope you enjoy the stage photos...

Photography tips, the different way. :)MindtravellingPhotography tips, the different way. :)1 year ago in Personal More Like This
I do not know how other photographers does it, but I like to walk around with my camera and when I have gotten a certain distance I close my eyes and play back the same steps I had taken, If I notice something doing so I go back and start taking pictures.
The same goes for places I have been before, I close my eyes and go through the same paths in my mind and think of locations to take pictures, often this technique leads to very interesting photos once I get out there and also I tend to notice things I did not when I was there first.
Weird or not, that is how I do it, if It works for others I do not know, but It might be fun to give it a try.
Often when you are out taking pictures it is just a natural place and angle to take pictures, but sometimes just turing around and tackling a unusual angle might yield much more interesting images.
An example is the image I took called "Arrival", the other way had a big calm lake wi

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CT5CyDfisyc There it is. A 1 minute and 22 second long video which took half an hour to finish. No, I am not exaggerating. Honestly, I wasn't expecting anything less since Prussia was involved. The little bugger will always find some way to mess something up.
Alrighty then. I hope you all enjoy my little creation
Comic-Con: Day 2Comic-Con Day 2 was all about cosplay, fandom, and art, art, art!Comic-Con: Day 22 years ago in DeviantART Announcements More Like This
Before we get into the thick of things, we didn’t have a photo of our huge plasma screens hanging from the convention ceiling to share in our Day 1 recap, so we vowed to get that to you today! The 11 foot wide screens stream amazing works of art from Artists' Alley participants to the whole convention floor!
In Comic-Cons past, the foot traffic In Artists’ Alley got busier and busier as the week progressed, and this year is no exception. There’s something magical about speaking one-on-one with a deviant, learning their experiences, hearing how they started as an artist, and how far they’ve come. It’s an emotional connection to make with someone who was practically a stranger a few moments ago -- and then you realize you’re not really strangers when you
FAQ: FFXIII-2 Starseeker weaponEdit: Many of you asked for a transformation vid. So, I made this video clip. Enjoy!FAQ: FFXIII-2 Starseeker weapon2 years ago in Personal More Like This
In my former journal I asked if you would like for me to explain how my Starseeker weapon was made. Since there were quite some people that would like me to do so, I decided to make this FAQ journal. So, I hope I'l answer some questions you might have about this curious weapon and I hope I can explain it well enough for you all to understand.
Note that I made the weapon a couple of months ago and I don't remember everything very clear of the making of it. But, I'll do my best.
So, first things first: The Starseeker
Serah's weapon is quite the interesting one. This because it's a transformable one just like her sister's, Lightning. Nonetheless, it's a transformable one from bow to blade, which original form is none other than the cute moogle companion, Mog.
Of course, Final Fantasy is all about 'Fantasy', so making an exact workin

the truth about me.Confession-the truth about me.10 months ago in Personal More Like This
A fear years ago I stopped submitting my work to publishers. I just got tired of hearing my work was not good enough or that I was not what they were looking for or hearing nothing at all. I'm not telling people to not submit, I myself just got worn down by never hearing anything positive.
I had stories in my head to tell. Ideas forming and building and dreams that were very very big. So instead of giving up hoping that someone else would make my stories reality, I decided to do it myself. I had nothing to loose and everything to gain. I still believe that.
That's not to say I would sign, if someone wanted my work and if the deal was right I would do it. Yet, those opportunities have never arisen. I am not too worried about it though. I've always had to figure it all my own, to learn everything about creating, publishing, distribution and marketing. To make mistakes, fail and get back up. The road of a self-publisher is a hard one.
There are many many long hours

How I cosplayed the cast of Free! sort-of-tutorialGroup cosplay, forever alone style! Yeah, that's all me.How I cosplayed the cast of Free! sort-of-tutorial1 year ago in Personal More Like This
In this post, I'll get into how I did each one!
Intro, and some bad old pictures
For those of you who have the patience to read for some extra info!
When I started cosplaying, I didn't think makeup was such a major part of it. I was so hesitant to even put eyeliner because I'd think, "This character is a guy, I shouldn't look like I'm wearing makeup!" And I guess I was silly enough to think I looked enough like the characters I chose without doing anything to my face?
I can't find more pictures of my really old cosplays (which is just as well, hahah) from the time I didn't want to use makeup apart from these:
I cosplayed as Haku from Naruto. I don't remember wearing any makeup for this. It doesn't show too well on these pictures but I saw some others where the natural redness of my lips made it look like I was wearing lipstick even if I wasn't. I felt it made me look more feminine than I should. Haku is still a guy after al
