Before I could go snatch my pokeball, I had to have a guaranteed escape route. I needed to find a pokemon that could help me out. I wandered around the greenhouse in hopes that I would find a flying or ground type pokemon, preferably ones that could fly or dig. I talked to all the pokemon I could find, but none of them were up to the challenge of helping me escape. I was losing hope, I felt like there was no way out. I found my answer moments later when I walked close to the glass wall that separated the greenhouse from the outdoor training feild.
Standing in the feild near the greenhouse was a boy who appeared to be in his teenage years, and around him were a group of tough looking pokemon. A charizard was among the group. He looked perfect for the job, that is if I could get to him. I tried waving and banging on the glass to get his attention. I even yelled, but that only resulted in growls from behind. It was time for plan 'B'.
I made sure no-one was watching and dashed into the pok

I was in shock. I couldn't believe that a human would do such a thing to their pokemon. I must have been staring, because the raichu spoke up. "Hey! What's wit da face!?" I turned away from him and began to wonder about Noel. Would she just abandon me now that I was gone, or was she truly searching for me. "Look pal, sulking ain't gonna do ya any good. You are stuck here an dat is all dere is to it." His word hit me hard, like a sonic boom. "Hey Raichu? Have you ever tried to escape this place?" He looked at me as if I were stupid or something. "What? Did I say something wrong?" He made a "tsk, tsk" noise while shaking his head slowly. "Why in da world would I bust out of this place if I had no-wheres to go, huh? Dem old people give me food, water and shelter. I have no reason to live in da woods when I has dem!"
I truly felt sorry for this pokemon. He had a brutal life. He had no loving trainer, no kind home, and no respect for other pokemon. At least that's what it seemed

A few hours had passed since the helicopter had stopped over the pond. Some of the wooper in the net were trying to move around. The electricity had very little affect on them because of their ground type. Unfortunately, they had little space to move which didn't help at all. From the looks of it though, we would be landing soon. In the distance there was what appeared to be a seaside rock formation with a large cave mouth. The helicopter seemed to be heading for the top of the rock. When we got closer, the top opened up and the helicopter flew inside.
The inside was dark, but the lights were quickly turned on. I figured that I should hide before anyone saw me. We were still quite a few feet of the ground, but I jumped and Peck followed. We both hid behind some nearby crates and watched as a small vehicle resembling a golf cart pulling a trailer drove in and stopped beneath the helicopter. I listened closely as they spoke. "Okay, lower it down." "Yes sir!" The net was lowered into the

The sun shined brightly in the sky overhead. Tide was on his rock and I was about three feet away on the grass. "Are you ready to begin your training Ty?" I nodded eagerly with a grin on my face. "Okay then, let's start off simple. I want you to build up your strength a little by climbing the cliff face and leaping into the water. Use your sonic boom to send up a splash of water while slowing yourself down. Do this ten times, Go!" "Yes sir!" I ran off to do as told.
My training had begun and I felt great. I climbed up and jumped in several times. At first it was hard to land as Tide had instructed, but by the time I got to ten I was making a perfect landing. When I occasionally looked a Tide's face, I noticed the he looked proud. This single fact made my insides smile and urged me on. Some wooper had stopped their activities and watched my training out of curiosity. My next task was to weave through a line of about fifteen trees using my aqua jet attack. More than once I rammed into th

I was beyond terrified. I did not have any idea of where I was. All I knew at that I was stuck in a room with a creature that wanted to hurt me. I ran to the door and tried opening it, no luck. "It's no use pal," The raichu had spoken again. "Your ma new room-mate and there isn't a single thing you can do about it. In otherwords, your mine!" The Raichu leapt at me with incredible speed. I had not been prepaired and was smashed into the wall. Before I even had the chance to stand up I was zapped with a powerful thunderbolt attack.
I turned my head and let loose a water gun. It was the raichu's turn to be caught off-gaurd. While it was still dazed I stood up and tackled it to the ground. I may have been badly hurt, but I was still able to fight back. "That's enough for today.." muttered the raichu. "You just wait until tomorrow, I'll knock you out real soon pal!" The scruffy pokemon's voice grew stronger as it stood up with a frown. It obviously disliked me more than before, but I didn't

Where was I? What was going on? What happened? Questions raced through my mind as I slowly regained conciousness. Everything was fuzzy in my mind. The fight! I remembered now. I had challenged the Raichu to a fight, but where was I now?
The place I was in smelled familiar, yet different. It was a Pokemon center. Those humans must have brought me to a pokemon center. I opened my eyes and found myself staring up at a white ceiling through what appeared to be glass. I tried turning my head, but I felt like I couldn't move. The nurse must have done something to me to prevent me from moving around, but even so, I still felt sore. The pain in my neck wasn't so bad anymore. I really owed the nurse at this center, if it wasn't for her, I probobly would't be here right now.
I attempted to call out, but my throat was sore and my voice was scratchy. Somebody must of heard my poor pitifull cry, for I heard footsteps coming towards me. A chansey popped her head over me. "Oh yay, your awake now!" Sh

I woke early the next morning. Tide was still sleeping, so I quietly slipped into the water and swam outside to where the sun had just risen. Once outside I perched on Tide's large rock and took a moment just to think. It had been just a little over a week since the storm, and already so much had happened. I have been in two fights already that weren't in my favor, thankfully I had also made some friends along the way. I hoped that nothing else bad would happen. It just seemed to be one dramatic day after the next with me.
My stomach growled and brought my attention back to the real world. I dragged myself off the rock and to the nearest berry tree. I wasn't sure what they were called, but they were really sweet. After getting myself some food and water, I stubbornly decided to do some of the waterfall training I had done the other day with Tide. I was tired of losing to stronger opponents and having to rely on others to save my tail. Three rounds of me climbing up and leapi

When I had awoken, my host was already outside. I swam
through the underwater tunnel that led outside and found him
standing on a rock beside the cliff face. He was just standing
there, watching the sky. I swam to the pond's edge and climbed
out of the water. Without moving his head he spoke to me. "Sorry
that I never introduced myself yesterday. My name is Tide. I
came here many years ago after just barely escaping a trainer
that was set on capturing me. At that time I was a buizel just
I looked at the unmoving figure. "Nice to meet you Tide. My name
is Tyson, but you can call me Ty for short." He turned his head to
me, almost as if he were studying me. "Hmm.. That sounds like a
human name. Where exactly do you come from Tyson?" I kicked a
pebble. "I was seperated from my human girl during a huge storm
at sea. My pokeball fell into the ocean and washed up on a beach.
I was then kidnapped by two older humans. They locked me up
with a raichu who always seemed angry. The raich
