Whoo. I'm more or less happy with it. There's tons of stuff I could've improved on. But for now, meh. I decided to go with the warrior class, going for an oldy-worldy feel and yet letting it look cool at the same time.
Well, I just entered the contest for the fun of taking the pictures, but now I'm very happy and surprised to know I'm in the 25 finalists! Thank you DA
Some people have been asking me why I chose "Tales of Beedle the Bard" by J. K. Rowling for this photo. Well, first of all, J. K. Rowling is my favorite writer, so it seemed just right to me to include it in my own piece of wonderland. I thought about other books too, but they were or to modern look or too heavy to carry to the local of the shooting. Moreover this book is supposed to be an old "fairy tale" book, before the time "Alice in Wonderland" was written, if I'm not mistaken. With its old cover look I thought it was a good choice for my pics.
When the evil goes against good.. the goodness will do your best to show the right way. ^.^ Kindness will win!

This is my first entry for dA's Insidious 2 contest.
The Theme: I created this image based on my everyday activity- drawing- but this time something has gone horribly wrong. I've turned my back for one moment, and something sinister is coming for me. Haha. I guess my creations are sick of all the bright colors
The back half is painted traditionally and the front half is painted in photoshop. I used all my own stock and reasources. I haven't done anything more than simple edits on photoshop in over a year. I know I need more practice It was so frustrating trying to achieve the look that I was actually going for....and this is miles away from what I'd actually like this picture to look like. I may try and refine this and make a better version if I have time. Otherwise, I'm happy enough with it for now.
This is based on my old concentration from AP art. Specifically this piece: [link] I actually like the older piece better (because I know I don't excel at photoshop right now) but I wanted to try something new and go for a different effect.
