Backstory- Des, a wanderer, is the only living creature that has remined untouched by the Plague that has devastated his world. Des's own people, a peaceful race of anthropomorphic tribals known as the Eld' Eari have all but become extinct. Even more so than humans, the Eld' Eari are vulnerable to the planet's toxin, but for some reason Des is completely immune. Shunned by humans and his family lost to the plague, Des has spent his life alone with one consolation. Magic is granted only through many years of practice and study, but to Des one of the deepest and most powerful magics it prominent in his veins, a control over life energy. While this magic grants him the power to heal, he cannot cover the many deaths and mutations this Plague has caused. Des traveled to the world of the Crystal Arena in search of a way save his people or, if failing that, a new home.
Skills- Des's magic grants him the manipulation of his own life energy. By channeling his energy through his body he can increase his physical strength, though being an Eld' Eari, he already has strength that surpasses that of the humans of his world. He also has an ability to convert his life force into other forms of energy, such as fire and light. Through much concentration Des can form physical barriers with his energy, but the strength of those barriers depends on the strenght of his life.

Hey, there are dragons in the schools, dont let anyone tell you different. This is for this months AnthroChallenge contest, Back to School. It's also an opportunity for me to introduce the new kid in class, Sapphire. She's a golden retriever Eld'Eari that Ive had an idea for. As for the dragon, he's thusfar nameless, but if anyone has any names for me Id love to hear them. I might even put him in the comic :3
Definitely tops last year. Halloween is one of the best nights of the year, and so far in my life it hasn't rained on that day. Pretty sweet right? But I guess Im swayed in one direction, after all the unholiest night of the year just so happens to be my birthday too! Obvious in retrospect, right? Sucks Im almost 18. I kinda wish I could relive my childhood and do a lot of things over, but then again Im excited for what the future might bring. New sights, new smells and a new comic that should be up before Hallows Eve. Oh, sorry, spoiler alert :3
I decided to trick or treat myself this year, if you know what I mean. I had a lot of fun looking up costume designs for Fulvus. She usually doesnt dress this way, but hey, it's my birthday gift to me :3
This is my contest submission this month for AnthroChallenge. The theme was Pumpkins, Potions or Candy but I wasnt really able to work a Snickers bar in there anywhere. Oh well, two out of three aint bad.
