I sketched up some Jaegers and ended up doing a little piece for them. I really enjoyed Pacific Rim if you couldn't tell. What's that? You want useless fan-fiction factoids? Well, maybe just a little.

(From left to right)

Grand Maul
Mark-2 Jaeger
Built with serrated forearms and a full-rotation torso.

Lunatic Heissen
Mark-3 Jaeger
What can only be described as "A fission powered rocket with Jaeger built around it".

Vertigo Black
Mark-4 Jaeger
A very tall and durable Jaeger

Last Laugh
Mark-4 Jaeger
The King Arthur rebuilt and refitted with a large chainsaw. Also, it has a fucked up clown face painted on it.

Just saw Pacific Rim and... damn!!!!

Enough said

Lots of time, I was just finishing this when I said "screw this let's start this part all over again" and that basically was very time consuming

Saw Pacific Rim the other night. Awesome.

Really loved the designs, especially the robots. Wanted to do my own little kaiju design inspired by the movie concepts, but not specifically based on any.

Why use the Jaeger compositor when I can draw one?
Smoshed this slowly over the weekend.

I feel if my country would join in the Jaeger project, it'd result in something similar to Cherno Alpha: Practical, clunky, not very sleek. With a design reminiscent of the Pendekars, old timey warriors, armed primarily with fold-out keris-like forearm blades. Dunno about secondary weapons, but it'd probably be hidden behind the pec-plates.

Darurat means 'emergency'.

Now I can sleep. Might do color correction later, my eyes are fuzzy now.
(Had to frankenstein the fonts from the posters since a .ttf version cannot be found)

19.07.2013: Minor edits. Hardened the contrast and stuff, rewritten definition for political correctness.

Originally I wanted to name this Jebat Delta, but that sounds too close to Gipsy Danger.

Inspiration came from watching Pacific Rim, gave me the idea that every country should have their own Jaeger ;)
My very own Jaeger from Pacific Rim representing east Malaysia , Sarawak :iconmingplz:

Model - Red Queen
Weapons - Armor piercing drill blade x2
- Modified plasma hand cannon x2 ( similar as Gipsy plasma hand cannon but it doesn't need to change, it has a gripping function that allows it to grab any kaiju while blasting it.)
- hand claws x2
- side, front, back booster allows great agility when fighting any kaiju
-High EMP resistance and backup energy when EMP wave detonate.
- Customized turbo engine that hardly makes any sound during battle which make stealth attacks very effective

Done and drawn in photoshop from scratch.

Krakatoa, a category 3 kaiju that mortared Manhattan and destroyed two Jaegers before it was taken down.
Krakatoa was capable of discharging mass quantities of plasma from its tube like horn, destroying its targets from afar. In close combat it used its sticky long tongue to drag and whip opponents, and its body mass to ram them. It had no visible eyes, its suspected it either had them hidden in its mouth or its tongue was used as its main sense, sensing wind direction and "tasting" targets.

One of those scenes where it's 'monster vs. Alien'. Fighting each other to see who gets to destroy the world I guess...
