Ice - Chapter 2(LokixReader)You cleaned up all the wrapping paper and put all your presents in your room. Sasha followed you around, occasionally rubbing up against your ankle when you stopped. The only thing left under the christmas tree were three presents. One was for your mom from your dad, and one was to your dad from your mom, then there was the one you made for the both of them. You left the ones from your parents under the tree, but unwrapped the one you made for them. It was a family photo you all took not too long ago in the autumn, on Thanksgiving to be exact. You were wearing a princess dress, as usual, and your parents were hugging you in between them. Everyone was smiling and happy. As each minute went by you missed them more and more.Ice - Chapter 2(LokixReader)2 years ago in Romance More Like This

Who were you going to choose?
Arthur watched you, his green eyes wide with fear when you glanced over at Francis, who had his arms crossed which caused the fancy fabric of his suit to wrinkle slightly. His heart was falling to pieces as you walked towards the frenchman, only to stop and shake your head. "I'm sorry Francis. But you deserve someone better than an Opera Singer." You whisper, taking off the necklace that held your engagement ring. Francis looked down at you with sad blue eyes, but a soft smile graced his lips. "I vill never forget you, little lottie."
Arthur was stunned, flabberghasted to the point where his mouth hung open but barely an audiable word left it. "Teacher, please forgive me." You turned back to him as Francis walked in the other direction clasping your hands together as you stared at him. "It was just something to satisfy the managers. He didn't really love me......." Y

Finding Love in Gray Hearts
I opened my eyes and blinked, as the warm, fall colors came into focus. A piercing note shrieked in my head as feeling seeped back into my body. The tingling sensation traveled up my arms and burned in my spine; I could move again, but not without a twinge of pain. Slowly, the chirping of birds and rustle of leaves beat its way to my eardrums. The fogginess that clouded my thoughts cleared.
I was alive.
Carefully pushing myself upright, I leaned on weak elbows and looked around. Tall oaks and pines surrounded the clearing, their evergreen needles and autumn-painted leaves splashed color on the otherwise dull, yellowed grass. A small lake reflected the evening sky and wispy clouds, rippled slightly by a cool breeze.
I curled together and shivered; my wet clothes clung tight and chilled me to the core. I ran my hands through my hair to wring the lake water, remove the slimy foliage. I pulled off drenched shoes and

Love is scrolled across your wrist
Today you exclaim how you will do anything you can to
Today I stand atop the edge of a chair recalling your words...
You have nothing to loose
No one will miss you...
I pull my face through the noose, it scrapes my face and passes
Salty tears drench my scratches, replicating the pain I've felt my whole life
With the swift jab of my foot the chair falls
I only feel the tug at my throat for a quick moment, then
Just yesterday you carved
on my soul
Today you wrote love on your arms

I opened the door of a café and smiled, it was warm and a sweet scent of cake and coffee warmed me up. It was a cold winter day, and snow crowded the stone pavements of London. During my flight to UK, I had worried about meeting him again. But I had brushed that off as soon as I arrived in the familiar streets of the city, and the kind faces of old friends before moving to America.
I looked to my left to find a seat to sit in. There he was, and our eyes met. He was still the same. His blonde hair that looked quite wild, and his ivory skin that were soft, and pink from the cold. His eyes were just the same I rememberedolive green with golden sparks of joy. It's Arthur Kirkland.
He is the man I loved. But I was too cowardly to tell him. He stood up, and his chair was pushed back with a small scrape and a groan.
It was a peaceful day in London, and _(

There is a realm which lives in constant fear of an evil dragon that lives on its outskirts. The dragon is not only evil, but also pretty much all-powerful, so you don't want to cross it...ever. Because of the dragon's influence over the realm, the kingdom's main religion is "dragonism", also known as the Draconic faith. In general, though, the dragon leaves the kingdom in peace, with one small exception. He demands that a young girl be brought to his cave, for him to keep as his prisoner. That girl is forced to sing and dance for him, until she starves to death or collapses from exhaustion. A new "Dragon Diva" is selected whenever one dies. This is pretty much the only thing the dragon demands of the kingdom, so in general, the country's people are more than happy to get the heck out of his way when he's choosing his next victim, or even openly help him, if it means that he'll refrain from wreaking any other kind of havoc on their realm. This is the s

He may not remember the time when he was still nothing but water, but he remembers waking up stone cold, in a dark room, stuck in between two layers and a set of toes.
He does not remember his mum, nor does he remember his dad, but he was certain they wouldn't have been able to tell him of great past adventures or quests of romance. After all, what more could an ice-cube do but dissolve above zero?
John names himself Watson, because he quite fancies the sound of two names, and tries to count the minutes he's alive. After forty, he gives up, for he isn't planning on making a log of lying down and doing nothing and recording time is tedious.
After God knows how long, the drawer opens and John Watson, ice-cube extraordinaire is joined by fuzzy meat that would be fingers if they'd only have nails and if he would have any breath, he'd sigh.
John Watson was just about to give up any resembla

It was the day after testing and results were going to be out. Arthur stood outside, expecting nothing unusual. He slowly made his way to the list, knowing he would be at the top. He saw the usual bunch of students crowding around, but there was an air of uncertainty. He ignored it and made his way to the front. He heard people whisper his name. Arthur shrugged it off. When he reached to the front of the crowd, he looked up with a smirk. He looked for his name and suddenly, he froze. His name was not at the top of the list. It was someone else and it read: (First name) (Last name).
'How can this be?! Impossible.' Arthur heard some shouting.
"What the hell are you doing, Gilbert? Where are you taking me?"
"Kesesese~, just look where your name is (F/n)." You appeared next to Arthur as Gilbert pushed you through. You saw Arthur and smiled.
"Sup, Kirkland. What's up?" You then looked up at the list.

Flowers on the window sill - England X Reader"Why? Why are you leaving?" Arthur asked. It was the end of world war one and now, at a moment that was victory stained by blood, his wife [c/n] had just announced the rupture of their empire. "I don't want to leave. It was my government's decision, not mine." You quipped. "But it was also not your decision to enter this marriage. Is it truly them that want this separation?" He questioned again, voice angry, words harsh. To your credit, you did not flinch. "Does it matter? We can only guide our governments, we cannot make their decisions in a way that will suit us." She replied. "Do you want them? One of them? All of them? Any in particular?" he inquired. He knew she knew he spoke of his colonies. Their colonies. "No Arthur. You conquered them, they are yours. Just take care of them will you?" She said before turning on her heel and walking out of the room.Flowers on the window sill - England X Reader1 year ago in Short Stories More Like This

She was in a park.
At least it seemed to be a park. From what she could remember this was what a park was like.
She was on a bench, a wooden bench.
But she did not know what time it was.
She felt a presence beside her and turned slightly to the sound.
Turning back she sat drinking in the warmth of the sun countered by the gentle breeze.

It was Christmas Day, and you were relaxed in your comfiest chair. You were cuddled up in a Snuggie and your favorite flannel pajamas, watching a DVD you had been sent in the mail from your grandmother for Christmas. Beside you were a few books and your cell phone. This was your first year being alone for Christmas. Before, you had always had your parents, but now that you had moved out of town to live on your own and couldn't afford to drive all the way to their house, you were enjoying your Christmas quietly.
"I wonder how Christmas breakfast went..." you said quietly, thinking of the feast of pancakes, waffles, muffins, and so much more your mother and grandmother always made. You used to help, but that year you weren't there to.
You sighed and turned back to your little TV. You were happy as long as you had your books and computer, but you hadn’t realized how lonely it could get sometimes. It probably didn’t help that you

And hoped that it would rain
so that all the tears that fell from our eyes
could soak into the dirt;
then she wouldn’t see them
and could pretend it didn’t hurt.
She said she wanted to be buried
beneath a cherry tree
so she could come alive every spring
and we’d feel her green eyes in each dancing leaf;
her face would be in each flower we see;
we’d hear her laugh in the summer breeze.
She said she wanted me to bring her a rose
and if they were to open,
to kiss her eyes closed.
Well, she said she couldn’t stop dreaming
about her funeral day;
said she just couldn’t stop dreaming
about how it would feel to fly away.

Powerful and strong, a beacon to all
No one would imagine that she'd ever fall
For despite the riches that filled up her land
A frown owned her face, for alone she did stand
Unchanging, everlasting, so was her life
In denial she remained of her own strife
But it suddenly changed, all in the drop of a pin
From far away lands they did come marching in
They came with such charms, without being shy
Their voices did not betray their lie
But she didn't know, nor did she care
For she accepted their offer that seemed so fair
So in they came to take what they may
Her opinions and comments, they kept them at bay
Once they were done and had taken all they can
They brought her with them to their far away land
So warm it was, and snow fell so seldom
Such difference it was, compared to her kingdom
Many more people joined in their house
14 people in total, no room for a mouse
They had many rules and created many law

You opened up the window, sticking out your head to find the source of the music. It had streamed into your ears late at night, and you had finally broken down to try to find its source. Stereo Hearts by Gym Class Heros drifted towards you, making you smile. Another voice called your name, "_____?" You looked down onto your back lawn to see Arthur Kirkland. In his grasp, held high above his heads, was a big old fashioned stereo. Your eyes widened.
It was cheesy as hell. It was classic. It was... Arthur. You grinned wider than you thought possible, and jumped out the window, scaring him half to death.
