Today was a day like any other. Just you, your boyfriend and his rainbow of language. Nothing could be better and nothing could make you feel the same. You were fresh out of college and a writer, your boyfriend was your college sweetheart. He had a business degree but worked part-time at a pizza joint in town. Just the average day in Southern Italy you guess.
Looking up from your yellow thick and wide notebook, you looked over to Lovino who was rummaging through the freezer. He turned to you with that scowl that you somehow grew to love.
“Ragazza…we’re out of gelato.” He complained as he came over to you. He sat next to you on the soft white love seat. You rolled your eyes and he pretended to sigh and lay his head on your lap. Giggling you brushed some of his auburn hair out of his face.
“And?” you asked playfully as he furrowed his eyebrows.
“And it’s hot out. And I want some damn

You ceased your tracing of your husband’s muscles, crossing your arms and resting your chin on them instead, looking up at the sleeping face of Lovino Vargas. His auburn hair rested on his head, tousled and messy as ever with that single curl sticking straight out. His pale lips were pressed into a thin line as he slept, obviously not dreaming of anything. He usually mumbled in his sleep, you would know.
Smiling, you bent your neck just enough so you could place a soft kiss on the Italian’s bare chest, right above his heart, before you rested your ear on the same spot. Steadi

That's why you stood on one of your best friend's steps, rapping your knuckles on the door a few times before rocking back on your heels, drumming your fingers on your thigh as you waited for the door to be answered.
You had been asked to attend yet another wedding, what was the saying, always the bridesmaid never the bride? But anyway, back to the problem at hand. You were going to be forced to bring a date this time, the bride to be insisting on having enough people to fill the massive ballroom she was renting out for her wedding. Why did he have to leave? That damn World Meeting never got anything done other then bring all the nations together, just so they could fight. He wouldn't be back till 1 AM tomorrow, and it was 8 AM in the morning. Normally you wouldn't be so mad or upset, but this was the first time your husband, Romano, had to leave for a meeting that would leave you alone with his/yours 3 month old daughter for almost a day. Most of the time you were doing all the work to take care of the child, but you woke up to the sound of her crying and no matter what you did – Changing diaper, feeding, napping or walking about the house with her on your shoulder- she would NOT stop.

Of course, little Flavia continued to cry. I

I hated being sick. Not only did I have to miss days where I could be working, I also felt awful. My nose was either stuffed all the time or mucus ran down like there was no tomorrow. My head was pounding so much, it felt like I could die. And, of course, that beautiful thing known as a cough made my sore throat even more sore (if that was possible).
